STRENGTHS​

• Force Suppression: As the sabot fractures on penetrating armor, the shards that theoretically spread through the target ship's interior increase the radius of suppression of force use. This has the added advantage of greatly decreasing the effectiveness of force enhanced defensive technologies.
• Armor Penetrating: The extreme velocity attainable by the sabot and the density of the depleted Baradium it is made from make it an excellent armor penetrator against even exotic armor materials.
• Extreme Range and Accuracy: The sabot is able to attain and retain extreme velocities, giving it an incredible maximum range while retaining a remarkable degree of accuracy.

WEAKNESSES​

• Alchemical Armor: Alchemically enhanced armor and other defensive measures are unaffected by the voidstone component of the sabot, making its deployment against targets with such defensive measures a waste.
• Shields Up: If target's shields are up, naturally the sabot would be prevented from penetrating the target's hull, which would once more make use of the shell in such circumstances a massive waste.

The final weapon in the anti-starship scale force use triad of the company, the Jetii'dral Oya'karur b' Beviin-class Sabot was a relatively simplistic development comparted to the voidstone dispersal missile and the stealth nullification pods. Like the others, the sabots are expensive weapons only meant to be used as sparingly as possible, and are kept onboard the Darasuum Morut for use by the flagship or for transfer from the flagship to another vessel. ​

The Force Hunter's Lance, like the other weapons in the triad, is specifically designed to counter large scale force use by making it difficult for force users and force powered starship systems to function. The Force Hunter's Lance achieves this by splintering once it penetrates armor, spreading voidstone fragments within the ship while also leaving a what part of the sabot didn't splinter lodged in the enemy vessel. This has the added benefit of being able to potentially negate any force enhanced defenses, but has no effect against their alchemically enhanced counterparts.​

Against shields, especially those that can weather the blow of the impact, these rounds are a colossal waste of resources, though the extreme velocity attainable by the sabot and the density of the depleted Baradium it is made from make it an excellent armor penetrator against even exotic armor materials. This ability to attain and retain extreme velocities, gives it an incredible maximum range while retaining a remarkable degree of accuracy. ​

In short, the Force Hunter's Lance-class sabots, like their name would imply, are an incredibly specialist tool for careful use in a select number of scenarios, but scenarios the company is all to happy to have the option to use them in. ​
