Breaking the Bank (Mandalorian Dominion of Muunilist)

@[member="Ember Rekali"] @[member="Mia Monroe"] @[member="Preliat Mantis"]

Ordo leaned and swung the big E-web. Finalky something his big shebs were good for.

Ordo opened fire on the area the shot had come from. The suppressive fire should give ember enough time to get to the building annd do his can opener tricks.

Strider advanced forward stepping over the bodies of the fallen sith troopers as he lead the mandalorians closer to their objective. The hallway was a ballet of death and destruction with its own light show as the two factions exchanged bolts. Though outnumbered, the Mandalorians were definitely not out gunned for just one mandalorian is like a one man army and the boarding crew still had a small squad wrecking havoc against the sith naval crew along with the two other boarding crews that would of breached elsewhere.

Another burst of bolts hit Strider, rittling his Armour full of painful dents with scorch marks but yet to find home on flesh yet. This is why you rarely see a mando without his beskargam, there were no words to explain Strider's love for the armor. Though the same could not be said for a few of his vode as they dropped back or fell, being tagged by lucky shots. It took will power to keep moving forward instead of dropping back to help the wounded, but for such a action to be successful, they needed to clear the hallway and secure the bridge. The wounded and dying will just have to wait.

The E-WEB gave enough suppressing fire that the sniper only got off two accurate shots on Ember before the sprinting Elder crossed the courtyard. One smashed into his left arm; he dodged the other one precognitively. Pain flooded through him, but he kept running, though every footstep was jarring.

He leaped, caught the edge of the roof with his good hand, rolled out of sight of the Mandos.

From the depths of Hyperspace surged forth a single vessel known as the Blue Krait. It had arrived from the West in order to bear with it two souls in particular to assist in the Mandalorian operation on Muunilist. The first of this duo was Isley Verd, a recently redeemed member of the Mandalorian people. Standing at the bridge of his corvette as it entered orbit, he opened a line of communication to the open channel, then voiced an inquiry to all those present on the ground below. The sad, simple fact was: Isley had no clue where or to whom he was going; so he would stand by until orders were given. As such, he said: "This is Isley Verd ready to assist. Give me coordinates and give me orders." With that said, he awaited a response to his message; folding his arms patiently.

It was a rarity for the young Mandalorian to leave his place of training in the Jedi Order, as his father had sent him there for fear that he would fall to the Dark Side. However, when the people of Mandalore moved, ripples were made across the Galaxy. Silas, being a son of Mandalore to the core, decided to tag along with his elder brother as he made haste to Muunilist; intent upon lending a hand to the ongoing operation. To this end, the youngling donned his Jedi robes and stood ready in his quarters about the Blue Krait, awaiting any and all orders to come over the ship's PA system. Whilst sitting upon his bed, the young boy fiddled with the training lightsaber that was within his hands. He was not foolish enough to ignite the blade carelessly, or point the kriffing thing at his eye, but he was dumb enough to play with it.

Strider double tapped another imperial with his carbine as he lead the way up the hall. The madnalroians were making great progress in advancing, laying waste to the enemy as they moved. Strider smile was hidden behind his helmet, he was proud of his warriors, listening to his orders to the T. Nothing less then grotesque violence and here they were, under manned and slicing through the ship like a Jetii glow rod on butter.

The last sith trooper that stood in their way was cut down but supressive fire from behind Strider. Only the Mandalorians and the dead stood in the long hallway and now all that stopped them from their objective was the damned blast doors that would gain them access to the bridge. Strider looked back to see if the two mandos with the breaching tools were still alive but quickly realized that they were on the gunship when it violently departed.

Before the old man could Swear there was hope, @[member="Isley Verd"] had entered the system and his message was loud and clear. The mando sith needed Direction and all Strider hoped was he had enough explosives or a tool that could cut this door down to size. Strider linked his comms to Isley " This is Strider Garon, we are somewhat in need of your assistance. We are currently engaged with a Sith Capitol ship. You can enter through our breach on the Aft side of the Command tower. And bring enough explosives to rip a blast door down if you dont mind vod" Strider insisted for the Sith master's assitance for he did not have the rank to command him.

Strider would then send the coordinates for Isley and his boy to show up. The capitol ship was trying to hide in a storm out at sea above the water. The mandalorina crew were boarding the ship to make her a prize for the muunlist out of good faith to join our fold.

When the transmission was received, the Mandalorian gave a swift response. "You've got it Vod." he said, "I'm headed to you now." With that said, Isley concluded the transmission and then sounded an announcement over the PA System. "All hands, we're heading into an active combat zone. Cloak up. Silas, you're with me." With the orders given, the Blue Krait activated its stealth generator and made its way through the atmosphere of the planet. Whilst difficult to navigate through the storm, the coordinates provided by Strider were impeccable and brought the corvette within a stone's throw of the Sith Capital Ship. Isley was quick to make his way down from the Bridge to the hangar bay of his vessel, then climb aboard his Cin Bes'uliik. Along the way, he made a quick stop by the armory in order to pick up some extra firepower to bring down the blast doors.

"I'll be at your position in thirty." he said, transmitting the message over the secure, Mandalorian channel.

@[member="Strider Garon"].

With the announcement came ripples of excitement through the heart of the young Mandalorian. Eagerly, he scurried out of his quarters and bounded through the corridors of the Blue Krait, rushing at top speed until he arrived at the hangar. He then clambored about the Cin Bes'uliik and seated himself comfortably in front of his brother, awaiting their taking off towards the ship. If Silas knew any better, he'd wager that Isley would disembark and let him pilot the War Droid so that he could fight directly alongside the Mandalorians already on board. Of course, if this was the plan, the youngling didn't have a problem with it...after all, he'd get to ride a kriffing War Droid.

Ordo watched as Ember disappeared from view and did what all good tanks do, he advanced. The big bastard began putting one armored foot in front of the other and soon pieces of duracrete started coming away.

Line of sight was broken; Ember couldn't tell that Ordo was advancing, and Ordo didn't know Ember's situation on the rooftop. Blaster-shot to the left arm, he'd rolled over the lip to see a sniper and a spotter. The spotter was ready for him with a nasty little autoblaster, and Ember found himself leaping painfully across the roof in another zigzag. His lightsabre flared to life, but he couldn't quite get close enough.

Ordo caught the slightest of movements near the sniper. He turned a little and concentrated fire. With luck he could get the chakkar before the sniper got anyone else.

" Hold!" Strider commanded his team as they waited for Isley to arrive. The team will fan out covering the cross intersection of the hallway and the blast doors just in case those behind the blast door got brave and decided to rush them. Strider took the down time to quickly check himself over for any major injuries that his adrenaline would of compensated for. So far, nothing of note. The old dog then re armed his wrist rocket launcher and placed a fresh energy cell into his Carbine. One would never know when they got a chance like this to sort themselves out.

Drake Garon was one of the lucky that had made it off the gunship, following his father through the breach and his courageous advance up the hallway. Like all that survived he had laid waste to those that got in their way and there he stood covering the cross intersection of the hallway waiting on Isley to show up with the proper gear to knock down these blast doors. His DC-19 stealth carbine was at the ready, his beskargam showing evidence of scortching for there was no way anyone marched through that path of laser bolts and death without being tagged.

"Starboard lifts still clear Buir!" Drake informed his father

E-WEB fire and chunks of sniper sprayed over and across the roof, and Ember threw himself flat as permacrete rattled everywhere. The spotter with the autoblaster went down too. With a glance, the spotter dismissed Ember for the moment, and craned his arm over the shredded permacrete balustrade to spray a bit of fire at @[member="Ordo"]. Ember scrambled up, half to his feet, and called his lightsabre back to his hand.

The spotter got the autoblaster around, and fully automatic blaster bolts whined off Ember's subtly shifting lightsabre.

"Copy that Drak'ika!" Strider replied to his sons transmission. Problem was just as Drake announced that the starboard lifts were clear, the port-side lifts open and more Sith soldiers piled out with blasters blazing away. The mandalorians were ready and returned fire upon the defenders cutting them down like cattle. Then the Starboard lifts opened and out popped two droidikas, shield primed the repeating blasters tearing into the Mandalorians.

"SHAB! TAKE COVER!!" Strider ordered as he watched two mandos get torn apart from the heavy weapons the droids carried. The only cover that was available was notches in the hallway and the dead bodies that laid about.

Drake sidestepped to his right using the corner of the hallway as cover. Two of his vode were not as lucky as the droids slotted them instantly. They had to think fast for the two droids rolled forwards and were about the enter the main hallway, which would be a slaughter for the Mandalorian warriors that were caught mostly in the open with barely any cover. Their shields neutralized most of their weapons making this situation dire.

Just as the two droids rolled into side, protected by the distinctive blue field that shielded them, Drake thrusted himself forwards skidding across the floor on his chest in a epic belly slide with two EMP grenades in each hand. The trick to beating the droids shield was slow movements and the droids were not quick enough to pick upon the Mandalorian who gently penetrated both of the shield with slight of hand and then rolling to his feet behind the droids and diving against the wall. The two grenades erupted in a brilliant blue explosion that rendered the two droids useless.

Strider and the rest of the Mandalorians unloaded upon the two diffused droids, ending their existence for good. That was just the icing of the cake for the boarding party as more soldiers began to flood the hallway once more from the turbo lifts. If one was on the ball this day, they should of found a way to jam those lifts but here they were, having to hold their ground. A lone mandalorian that has skills at slicing was attempting to hack the blast doors just in-case Isley was going to be a no show. Slicing was a time consuming process, time they did not have but there was no point in wasting what they had on just standing around.

Strider did not have to give a single order as the Mandalorians were once more in a raging firefight from two sides, getting pushed back into the hallway and against the blast doors. The only thing that kept the sith troopers from overrunning the Mando position was the superior tactics and training of the mando'ad warrior. They held their ground and laid down impressive fire to keep the enemy off and hidden behind the corners.

Ordo saw the spotter but the E-web was big and heavy. The bolts struck Ordo Square and some how found a way around his armor weave at the neck. Ordo dropped to a knee and braced the E-web on the ground to try and fire up through the building's floor at the sniper's location.

Drake was stuck on the opposite side of the cross intersection of the hallway from his father. It was a harsh situation to watch the sith troops try and flood the hallway from both sides utilizing lifts that the mandalorians forgot to disable. Drake gripped a frag grenade from his bandolier of explosives and pulled the pin before chucking it to the starboard side of the hallway. The explosion was music to his ears but it did not stop the Sith troopers from piling out of the turbo lifts, they were trying to retake this hallway by numbers, battle through attrition.

The slicer cracked the command console for the blast doors giving the signal he was ready to breach. Strider quickly deployed the slicer, himself and one other member of his boarding crew to focus on the blast door and be ready to enter. Strider looked back, he wished his son was with him but the man was busy at the other end of the hall and it would of been far to reckless for him to rush through enemy fire to join up.

"Ready!" Strider informed the slicer. The slicer gave him a thumbs up "GO!" Strider growled as the door flashed open before him, the bridge crew in shock of what just happened. The initiative was on the mandalorian's side. The combat inexperienced bridge crew quickly dropped all weapons and hands raised in the universal sign of surrender.

Surrender was good, but Strider needed full compliance and more importantly the access codes for the ship. Strider walked into the bridge in wedge formation with his other brothers. The captain was easy to spot out and Strider asked out sternly. "ACCESS CODES"

" I......I........NO" Good time for the captain to decide that he was gonig to be a patriot. Unfortanate for him that Strider wasn't in the mood. The old mandalorina took few strides over to the captain gripping the man by the back of the hand and jamming his dagger throught the bottom his jaw to the point of his blade barely touch the roof of his mouth. Strider didn't need him to speak, just to give him the access codes for command. With panther like reflexes and in awe of the entire bridge including his own crew he dropped the captain into his chair, knife still protuding from the bottom of his jaw acting as a painful leash for Strider's use.

"ACCESS CODES NOW!!!" Strider roared into the man's ear pulling the knife outwards to inflict more pain upon his victim.

He typed the codes in under the close watch of Strider. With that Strider removed the blade and tossed the man aside for his crew to patch him up. Strider may be ruthless, but he was not merciless. The ship was theirs and Strider quickly halted the turbo lifts that supplied endless recruits to the hallway. VICTORY was to be had. Though at a high cost to gain peaceful compliance with the muunlist, a gift for them. Strider would of destroyed worlds to save just one Mando, but in the political lime light, a few lives lost was worth the sacrifice.
