Not wanting to look behind until the heat from her face went away, she crept toward the intersection and crouched. Her ears rang slightly from the explosion, but she felt the floor vibrate slightly as heavy treads moved nearby, likely drawn by the explosion she assumed.
Now would be a good time to be invisible... She thought to herself for a moment, before relaying in concise hand signals behind her that someone was coming.
She noted the hallway to the right of the maintenance hall wasn't occupied, and the steps, she could barely hear them now, seemed to be coming from the left. Above her there was a vent, likely to the ventilation system.
Without spending time to second guess, she turned down the right hallway, her eyes roving for any security devices. She found a door on her right, that would lead to a room adjacent to the maintenance hallway she'd just vacated, and a second door a little ways down on the left, the wall that was opposite the entry to the maintenance shaft. She moved to the left hand door, but it seemed locked. Thinking quickly, she pulled the mini computer spike from the chronometer, and slid it into a universal port on the bottom of the keypad. She tapped her glasses, and began slicing the doorway open, hoping to have a way for her fellow infiltrators to go by the time they got this far.

Vyxen only became aware of the bomb moments before the explosion, she had been paying attention to the area before her. There was an intersection ahead, and she was inching closer to it when the droid exploded. In her startlement, instinct took over and she accidentally cloaked herself for a moment. Her lack of training in the Force was a distinct downside, having only recently realized she could access the fabled omni-present field. She willed herself visible, and only hoped neither her startled power usage, nor her embarrassed flush were visible. She was acutely aware that her life may well have been saved by the agents with actual training in the Force, as she hadn't felt heat or pressure from the explosion. Not wanting to look behind until the heat from her face went away, she crept toward the intersection and crouched.
