Braving the cold of Rhen Var [The Republic]

Disney's Princess
Jerry raised a hand and interrupted. Her droid was texting her and she would need to step outside for a moment. It appeared it was time for her go.

"Ah. Perhaps another time, Padawan [member="Meeristali Peradun"] . May the Force be with you."

And with a slight bow she reapplied her helm and took her leave. She could build a lightsaber another time.

He considered her question, peering over the crystalline formations around him, and stretching out his senses to attempt to get a feel for which direction in particular he should head in. It was like some variation on hide and seek, except there was no hiding and he and... whichever crystal were both seeking each other, it seemed. It was simply a matter of which stood out to him like a beacon of sorts. At least, that was the case, in his mind. That was his understanding of it.

"The path of the Guardian, to answer your question. Ideally to learn all the methods in which this tool is used, in the event that I might need to use it. To be ready, and more than able, to continue the way of a soldier and warrior that's been the path of my life."

He smiled mildly then, not looking at her, but towards a cluster that seemed to have finally caught the brunt of his attention.

"Not to replace the tools I already know, but to be an addition or supplement."

Only then did he glance back at the Zeltron before wordlessly moving onward, towards a oblong-curved corner, and a cluster of crystals of various colours, mostly cool colours as green, blue, and purple, and less warm as yellow and orange, though the yellow was a movement between the blues and greens, and orange was a bare sliver, hardly present. He crouched, and softly brushed his fingers over them, focusing, listening to the Force for guidance, his eyes slipping shut. As he did this, the feeling grew, as if the crystals had lives of their own, calling out to him, drawing in his attention. One effected the strongest pull on him, at the point of the cluster furthest from his centre of mass, pulling his hand towards it until he shifted onto his knees, to stretch as far as he could until he was touching, then grasping a violet blue crystal.

It would be a good ten minutes before... whatever secrets the crystal imparted to him at his touch left him to consciousness once again, where he was left alone to his own devices. So focused was he in his task, that he hadn't noticed the Zeltron leaving, but he had the crystal, and that was what mattered, in the end.

And thus he pocketed it, and departed the caves to find and join the others in getting off this frigid rock.
