GENERAL INFORMATION

[*]Description: This unit is comprised entirely of those who have been accepted into the Bral Mandalorian clan. Most of the members are chosen from already trained and experienced mercenaries or members of other Mandalorian clans. This unit fights with valor and honor, aspiring to follow the tenets of the Resol'nare, however they may fall short. In Mandoa the title "Ge'verde" translates to "almost warrior". While these are not young Mandalorians, they are still seeking a rite of passage into the Bral clan. Not all will survive and not all will be deemed worthy to join in the elite ranks of the Bral clan.
COMBAT INFORMATION: The combination of Unit Size and Availability below is the indicator of how numerous your unit is. Stormtroopers for instance would be considered Large/Common, while Rogue Squadron would be a Small/Unique unit. Majority Force User Units are prohibited from being Common or Large. The stronger and more specialized your unit is (FU or NFU), the smaller and less common it should be.
  • Unit Size: Large
  • Unit Availability: Uncommon
  • Unit Experience: Trained
  • Combat Function: The Ge'verde are a tight-knit group of Mandalorian aspirants to the Bral clan. They face each battle with the honor and valor that is expected of every member within the clan. This unit can be deployed as ground-based infantry support. Often this unit will need support from vehicles or aircraft in order to crack more solidified enemy positions.
Strengths:
  • Loyal - The Ge'verde of the Bral clan may be the most undisciplined of the clan, but they have a strong desire to prove themselves as worthy of ascending into the ranks of Verde and beyond. This unit cannot be swayed to act against their clan members unless it is by unnatural means. Additionally, they are highly unlikely to give up information if captured.
  • High Powered Weaponry - The Mandalorian Assault Rifle is a very potent weapon, albeit noisy and with high recoil. This unit can tear through light and heavy infantry, especially if the target or targets are engaged from the flank.
  • Diverse - While the Ge'verde lack the gadgets of seasoned Mandalorians, they are equipped with vibroweaponry which changes based on their personal preference. This allows this unit to engage from both ranged and melee.
Weaknesses:
  • Lightly Armored - Despite the high output and variety of weapon options, the Ge'verde are not clad in the legendary metal armor of the Mandalorians they aspire to become. While Durasteel is a very durable metal and armorweave is versatile, they do not afford enough coverage to and protection to stand up to constant enemy fire, artillery, explosives, or otherwise.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As [member='Valdus Bral'] 's victories, feats, and prestige grows so too does the fame of the Bral clan. The Ge'verde are those who have applied, have been invited to, or have been born into the Bral clan. While members of this unit enjoy the Bral surname, they are not yet seen as having fully proven themselves as Mandalorians. This unit is comprised entirely of these Ge'verde, or "Almost Warriors", outfitted with basic armor and weapons partially provided by the Bral clan. Where most professional armies pay for soldier equipment and a salary, the Ge'verde are not hired, they have chosen this path for themselves and therefor they pay for as much of the weapons and armor as they can with the rest being paid for by the clan. Those who prove themselves through their combat prowess are promoted to to the rank of Verd, or "Warrior" and receive all the benefits and upgrades therein.
