While the fellow convicts painstackingly replanted the gardens that were destroyed by the pickpockets, Ugohr was a little nervous. All that he had to go on was Beorni footprints, right inside the area wrecked by the pickpockets, which he insisted that they preserved until the jailers arrived. Said jailers were also forthcoming, since assaulting prisoners for robberies were assaults that were aggravated, especially because of the nature of the targets. Also, when the Yuzzem jailer took picture of the Beorni footprints, Ugohr found himself more useful to investigate the crime than to replant gardens: Gungans weren't quite renowned for gardening in non-hydroponic environments. A Pantoran jailer interrogated Ugohr about what he found relative to the crime, while the Yuzzem wondered what kind of polar bear would go around stealing cooking recipes from dark-siders, unless said polar bear would himself fall to the dark side.

"Time for a sitrep, prisoner"

"Yes: wesa finden new information about disen pickpockets"

"Anything new about the possible nature of the pickpockets?" the jailer asked.

"There-sa una or duey Beorni in disen pickpockets dat destroyen disen gardens"

Veino nodded as they took a seat, listening to what Draco spoke of. Cathul? The name didn't ring any familiar bells, by any means, but he pulled up the government registry of files in regards to her and ran through it. Not much there by any means. He cross-checked the list with any diplomats sent to the Clans, especially for this Alor'utai. That was easy enough to understand. No Alliance officials had been sent to attend the meeting and Cathul was not an authorized representative of the Alliance government.

The second one was slightly more complicated, but he knew the official stance and how things had been with the First Order. They had no agreements, as far as he was aware, but they were not at war as of yet. Things could change, especially given communications he was reading from the Barkhesh system. But no war so far. The man waited for Draco to finish with the message from the diplomat and gave a quick nod of acknowledgment.

"Well," Veino began, double checking his jotted notes, "Cathul is not one our government officials or ambassadors in any capacity and we sent none to your alor'utai." His words tripped slightly over the strange word, but it was recognizable still. He leaned forward in his own seat.

"Now the First Order..." He paused to carefully choose his words. "We have no official agreements with them and tensions are high but we aren't at war yet. Trying to keep it that way for now. But if you were to raid them and the like..." His voice trailed off and shrugged. "We can't stop Mandalorians for what happens outside our territory unless there's a fleet. And for the mercenary clans, depends on who they fight against. Against us, then yes, we would be rather offended. Against others who aren't our allies, I'm not sure we would have a stance."

He glanced out the window to the festivities. "Anything else we need to discuss?"

Post 5
Draco shrugged, "I figured it was a wires crossed kind of deal. I doubted that the Alliance wanted to be so entrenched in our affairs." The matter of Cathul wasn't terrible important. It had been mostly rectified with her being soundly dismissed. That was only the clarification about her role and whether or not the Alliance did openly care about foreign nation's affairs. They didn't, not in that they cared enough to make a scene during a sacred ritual about an unrelated matter.

"I'm not the ruler of the Clans. Even under Mand'alor Vizsla, there was some autonomy among the Clans that allowed them some freedom about raids and who they sold their sword to. I can't guarantee some random people claiming to be Mandalorian won't attack the Alliance. Even we've been attacked by random people claiming to be the Real Mandalorians in recent times." One particular Terrorist attack done by the True Mandalorian Kezeroth had claimed Ember Rekali's life, one of his friends. "Hell, even Ali Hadrix and some Jedi mutt from the Army of Light claimed to be Mandalorians. But, I can tell you that as far as Me, and the Alor Council is concerned, the Mandalorians and the Alliance are allied with the same goals."

"I believe that about covers what I needed to talk about. I believe you mentioned booze and free food though?"

The small Nabooian shuttle burst out into realspace along Gal Milnor with little issue. No sight of the Purrgil yet. The first thing that caught Saffron's attention was the massive asteroid field and the large moon off in the distance. So this was where their survey probes had detected traces of Clouzon-36.

As they approached their vector, the woman could make out a distinct blue green gas cover along the inner circle of the asteroid belt. It was a nebulous gas, thick and almost solid like a sea. Was this Clouzon-36?

Whatever the answer would be, Saffron suddenly felt a slight tingling at the back of her neck. What came next took her breath away. The large massive bodies of languid swimming creatures appeared at the edge of the cloud. The Purrgil.

"Rogue Three here, confirmed camera got all of that good business. Keeping that one safe to watch when we get home."

Well that was a way to send the rest of the hanger a titter. Choli's own chuckle echoed in the squadron comm.

[Well, looks like you got the prize for the night, Three. ]

What Carlin said next was a little more sobering.

Ben Carlin said:
"This is Rogue Three, our transports are getting a little antsy and shaking their ships around a little but holding steady on the attack vector."

[ Not to worry. Just hold steady and it will be fine. Think of it as a simple escort trip. ] With a First Order Vessel to boot. It was a bit nerve racking, but they would do just fine. R4 gave a supporting hoot and beep.

[ Holding steady, Rogue Seven out. ]

"Beorni pickpockets, going after dark-siders to steal cookie recipes? You're lucky, prisoner, that there aren't a lot of Beorni to go around this planet: we shall catch them quickly"

"Yousa seem unfamiliar with them-sa Beorni"

"Could you describe a Beorni outside its footprint?"

"Theysa white bears, and all disen Beorni footprints suggest issa dat oursa pickpocket issa teenager by theirsa standards"

"A teenager Beorni preying on dark-siders for cookie recipes"

What Ugohr doesn't know is that there could only be one or two Beorni on Asmeru. Beorni are a rather rare species and native to an icy planet in Silver Jedi space. But how could Ugohr distinguish between Beorni or other ursine species? Or would the Beorni pickpocket exploit its rarity for cover in his crimes, hoping that the police would dismiss the claim, due to the sheer ridicule of the report? The Gungan chuckled when he was singled out for interrogation about that lead, and possibly a clue of capital importance. Which means that one of the few Beorni he knew was one of the Jedi he trained in economics! After all, Beorni did produce Jedi, and he knew that, due to their nature, they would be able to become diplomats. But the guards were almost as incredulous about even though the security cameras did film a rather suspicious scene around the site of where the crimes of the pickpockets took place.

As diplomatic drinking commenced, the RNS Jamillia analyzed its copious sensor data. Teams of qualitative and quantitative analysts examined in-depth close- and short-range scans of the two First Order ships. Coherent blueprints began to take shape, complete with the locations of critical systems. Threat analysis teams assessed fire arcs and blind spots, hangars and hatches, exposed components and suspicious protrusions. The Jamillia processed the early results and passed them along to the GADF.

The Jamillia had, however, stopped in-depth scanning some time before, so as not to further escalate the situation. At this point, it was engaged only in processing the huge volume of data already obtained.

Aerion stood with his Sergeant silently.

Thankfully, not for long for another shipment of equipment was brought along in the form of recon probes, planetary shields, local area shields, defensive emplacements, and several other pieces of equipment that allowed for the Galactic Alliance Guard's business on the planet to remain secret. Encrypted communications.

Useful.

"Make plans to put these in place. I have to check something out."

And from that point on, Colonel Ivelisse left the facility to presumably further neglect his responsibilities.

Knight Dar'rak lead them forward into the first floor of the Massassi Temple. While far from clean and effulgent, it was already well explored. So Monica paused to shake her head in reply to their reptilian Jedi,

"Oh no. Without the archives ancient records to pick through and classify them? I doubt I'll be able to recognize any of the script or cravings we'll likely find in here. And I'm afraid I have no talent for the Dark Arts. Or their alien handwriting either. Hehe."

She turned her eyes to Rhen for a moment. Then to the rest of group. Wondering quietly if any of them had the supernatural skill to decipher such scrawls and ruins.

Mm. Probably not.

"Of course. If we do happen upon anything of goodly size that can be removed from the site for study? Well. I'm sure the good doctors back on Sullust would love to study them. ...These carvings however? Bah. Far to big. Best to leave them be."

Monica stepped towards the stairs and withdrew a small metal rod from her coat pocket. Much like the wizarding wand that it resembled, Roberts gave the silver rod a quick flourish. Swish. Swish,

"Ah presto!"

And immediately the rod began to emit a brilliant flood of swirling, bending light that bathed their surroundings in a radiant blue gleam. Granting the dark walls with the familiar illusion of being quietly underwater.

"Mm. Well. Let's see what's down here, shall we."

Prided by her luminous magic, (Or one heck of a flashlight,) Monica descended the black soil steps of the dungeon with a smile. Deeper down into the vast unknown.

Roth sat in the lounge, sprawled against the bench as the others filtered in. Aeshi leaned against the hatchway, with a small lockbox for collecting any and all weapons people may have brought aboard. Once they were all collected, they were deposited safely in one of the hidden smuggler's holds aboard the StarDream. None of the visitors would have an easy time finding them.

"Welcome, friends," Roth said, standing up in greeting and gesturing to the table with its four bottles. "Let's set aside formalities and hostilities and do what spacers do best." He grinned as resumed his seat. "Drink too much and lie about our selves."

Aeshi came back and took a seat, grabbing a bottle to pop the cork open.

"Only Captain on here is me," she said, pouring the bottle into one of several glasses she'd set on the table, turning to give a pointed look to Roth. "But other than that, be my guest." The young Warden felt rather out of place here, if she was being honest. The whole reason for setting up her trade outpost was to get away from governments and their interference, and now here she was, playing host to a convention of galactic representatives.

Roth was such a great cousin, but, she supposed, family came first. Always.

"They are quite beautiful." Saffron murmured, watching the incredible beasts slowly make their way through the blue-green haze.

"They are a menace." her companion would state sternly. That prompted a flat look from the blonde.

"You only say that because you do not understand them." she told him flatly. Saffron would not be swayed from her stance about this. In her eyes, the Purrgil were a symbol of how nature had found a way. For the clone, this meant something. It was important.

"They have caused numerous deaths." a fact.

"Only because none have actually taken the time to study their migratory paths. To truly learn from them." in her mind, if they took the time to study them, then perhaps there was a way to save the lives of both space farers; the Purrgil and those who mimicked their travel on ships galactic wide.

Dar'rak looked over at Master Monica as she spoke about the symbols and the old archives that Dar'rak had recently learned were likely destroyed or lost with the Sith Raid on the Temple--His old home. he wondered if they had sacked his room and found any of his old schematics for his Swoop Bike design. Perhaps, but perhaps not. Most of the final components were locked away in his mind where he would keep them safe. When Master Monica suggested they leave the ancient carvings Dar'rak did not agree with her assessment. They were here to explore and learn and this markings could be important. If they did not have a record to compare them to then Dar'rak was going to create one from scratch.

Dar'rak took a small data pad from a pouch on his hip and activated the screen. Touching several locations it released a holographic scanner from the top that the young Jedi used to record these particular symbols in case they came up again in their search. He then cataloged them for later and so they would be easily accessible at a later date. When he was done he looked up to find that Master Monica had vanished into the depths alone. Dar'rak gave a slight reptilian growl sounding noise as he exhaled his disbelief. "Well," He would look to Knight Qel-Droma and the two Padawans, "It seems we are going to be descending here. Get your torches ready and be keeping a good mind on the Force. It may choose to warn us of any danger we may encounter down there." The Reptilian gave a toothy grin before finally following Monica down into the depths.

Unlike the others whom had to rely on their visual sight Dar'rak was not under any such limitation. With specialized sensors located I his nose the Reptilian Jedi was capable of seeing well into the infrared spectrum of colors. Heat basically and Master Monica's radiant body heat liter her up in here like a beacon as did the warmth from the others had they followed the pair down and not looked for a separate descent.

The Kel-Dor didn't hesitate to follow Monica down into the bowels of the temple, he wasn't one to really stop in his tracks and waste his time trying to decipher a language he wouldn't be able to anyway. But he did agree with Monica that they should not remove any tablets or pieces off wall. In fact he believed they should barely remove any artifacts, they were there to study the temple and the culture it represented, not to ransack the place. They will probably end up having discussion as to whether it's more important to study their findings in the lab or to preserve them in their proper place for others to learn about them as well.

Other than a torch or Monica's magical flashlight, the Padawan simply took out his lightsaber, he set it to training power setting just to make sure he would not accidentally slash somebody or some relic they could be passing by, and activated it, letting the blue light wash over his immediate area and light his way.

If anyone ever handled a RL FX-lightsaber at night, they would know, those things are bright as fuuuuuuuudge.

Hopefully the heat from the glowstick would not interfere with Dar'rak's heat vision too much, they warmth of the plasma core within the lighsaber's blade could possibly overwhelm the beacon of warmth that was Monica ahead of them.

"Were the initial scans and investigation by the researchers able to tell us what exactly this temple was dedicated to or used to?"

Padawan asked towards everyone and no on in particular,

"The Force in general, one of its sides, or a specific diety?"

He queried further as he carefully descended down into the temple, following behind Monica's peacocky butt, careful to not stumble over his own robes and plummet down the staircase.
