Helios' ochre eyes looked over the planet below with a stone gaze. The terrestrial planet had a long history, but among the first most important footnotes was the establishment of the Je'daii Order. A perverted construct that believed in balance of the Force, a philosophy even more ridiculous than the Jedi and their exclusivity to the Light Side. At least they understood the importance of singular allegiance to the spectrum of the Force. But, in Helios' eyes there were both flawed of course. Either you succumbed fully to the Darkness or not. And for this, the Eldorai wished Sith of the past would have destroyed the planet when the opportunity presented itself, eradicating the Symbolic hold it may have sustained to the few remaining Je'daii believers today. Although they held no major positions in the galaxy with a large faction, any that were not Sith were all equal enemies to Helios and to rob them of anything that held any meaning at all was a variant of attaining and holding power, even over something so miniscule.
His eyes then moved from the viewport of the vessel to [member="Darth Praelior"], an ally of old. One whom Helios fought alongside in countless battles by now. She was a mighty Sith Warlord, esteemed for her prowess in combat along with her obvious passion for Alchemy and all things that fell under that title. Her pink skin seemed to glisten under the dull flourescent lights of the ship, although Helios was aware this was most likely the genetic pull of her Zeltron pheromones rather than sincere attraction.
He listened to Balaya voice her suspicions about the point of interest before swaying his silver head to look at [member="Darth Arcanix"]. The raven-haired human was a new face to Helios, like a few other Sith Lords he'd seen floating about the One Sith grounds at the Valley of the Dark Lords on Coruscant. An inspective eye gave her an up-and-down look from head to toe as he studied her frame. Her close position to Praelior spoke of friendship, if not subdued allegiance, but such relationships were scarce between Sith of their ranking. She was lean, most likely a testament of her athletic enthusiasm. She was attractive, even by the Eldorai's standard, whom had his own love for things considered beautiful and magnificent. But such things were only skin deep. His companionship with her was non-existant save for the common brotherhood all under the One Sith possesed for their fellow kin.
"I would almost hazard a guess either a secret Republic redoubt is hidden within, or some sort of prison or vault system; Something valuable at least, something we might be able to turn over to further our cause in some way."
Her dialogue was respectable to Helios. Anything of value to the enemy was of equal or sometimes more value to the Sith, admittedly. She recognized the power in seizing from the weak and the chalk white Sith Lord appreciated a Sith of her stature to adhere to the Sith Code, even in a time when the Dark Side was at it's most giving state, allowing many of it's champions power beyond the Jedi's most haunting nightmares.
Yet, speaking of nightmares one stood before them all. The aged, hyper-intelligent wrecking ball of a Sith Knight known as [member="Darth Skaarj"] towered above the remaining sentients in the space whom were all of average height, give or take a few inches. Helios witnessed the beast in combat on a few occasions, remembering each time the joy he'd felt seeing the 9'8, 1500lb De'Nochsax release the aroma of death and pain as he punished those whom opposed him. As his affinity in the Force increased, Helios knew that he would become an even greater being in this particular galaxy. His studies would advance him into the infinity of the Dark Side's greatest potential with time. Time spent mellowing and bathing himself within the Darkness of his own being, rather than through the Force. Something Helios was sure the giant also knew himself, if it had not already been accomplished.
And finally the voice of another Sith Lord, [member="Darth Venefica"] spoke into the corrupted air of the bridge, turning the attention towards her reassuring agreement with Arcanix. Whence Helios returned from his duties, a lot happened in that period. The Dark Lord had sent him into the fringes of wild space on a lone mission, which to great dismay from both the Dark Lord and Helios himself, ended in failure. The penalty was demotion from being a Hand of the Dark Lord, something which wounded the Eldorai's pride more than anything else. But a spark of his own madness that he'd developed during his round of missions were amplified in what he saw before him. [member="Darth Vornskr"], whom was close to Helios, held the same symptoms as the woman before him. Pale skin, graying hair, sunken eyes. A physical testament of long-term usage of the Dark Side. At least that is what Helios attributed her appearance to. More interesting than everything else he noted of her during his quick study was her teeming emotions. Unlike the madness that had spawned in great Sith Lords of the past, like Kaan, Parnax, and even Gravid, Helios could see how obvious it was that she was not ruled by it. His assessment of her continued until she finished speaking and then he himself chimed in, his raspy-inhuman voice dragging out of his throat like dry leaves blowing across uneven pavement.
"Whatever the Republic possesses I think it best that we investigate. What weakens them, strengthens us."
