It'd been a couple days since Eliz had come back from Kestri. After he lost his arm. After he had Gwyneira Vizsla Gwyneira Vizsla and Jenn Kryze Jenn Kryze fight in the poor diner down the street. True to his word he'd been helping to repair that, but today wasn't that kind of day. No, today was a lazy day. One of the laziest he'd had in a while. The young man was sprawled out on the couch, watching something on the holotv. He had chips by him that he was casually munching on. He wasn't sure where the other two were. Or where Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla really was. But that didn't matter. No hunt. No fight to be had. Just peace, relaxation. Getting more used to his new arm.

He turned his gaze to it as he snatched up another chip with the beskar plated limb. Carefully as ever. He'd gotten better at not crushing the chips when he picked them up while focused on something else. He wasn't just being lazy for the sake of being lazy after all! Well, somewhat. His glowing red eyes flicked back towards the TV, watching.. Something. Yeah it was a mindless show. Galaxy has talent or something? He'd already forgotten the name of the thing.

"Should be a pretty calm day.."

Shai Maji Shai Maji

Gwyneira still had no idea how to truly relax.

She was currently in the master bedroom, laboring over her her stun/ ion pistol that Jenn Kryze had shot out of her hand and broken. That kriffing self righteous nerf herder...

Gwyn scowled, still trying to focus on the datapad audio of Mandalorian History playing in the background. Gwyneira had never stopped learning the ways of the Vod, despite feelings of discouragement and isolation. Being a Foundling, adopted by Kranak Vizsla, had certainly returned a sense of vigor.

Adopted. She was his... daughter. As much as bitterness still throttled with her fragile heart, she felt such a deep, purer emotion being called someone's daughter. Being able to call someone "father." She still teared up, still found herself just standing or sitting in random places struggling to process it. She had been cast aside and ignored by her mother, disowned and disgraced by her biological father. For someone else to take her in... Perhaps, she was not as lost as she thought she was. She certainly felt appreciative, and she felt the tiniest sense of value. She had been filled with bitterness and resentment towards him before, but now she felt drawn to Kranak and once again admired him. Even more than ever, she felt close to him, despite the spite inside. She was someone's child! She was adopted! She could scream in joy and cry in bewilderment. She was so confused, feeling beauty and rage all at the same time.

Determined to make up her mistake in the coffee shop to Kranak, and to make him proud, Gwyneira had been delving deeper into her studies and training harder. She still struggled to wake up everyday, and she still felt hurt and wary of both Kranak and Eliz, yet she actually started to feel something aside a lame lack of emotion or endless bitter agony again. She felt like she was truly building towards something again. She was motivated for the first time since Eliz first came home with late news of his arm.

As much as she still struggled to find the energy, as much as she was terrified of further rejection and treatment as an outcast, as much as she hated Jenn's guts, she at least was starting to get better.

As she continued to work, she continued to listen to the Mandalorian texts. She still felt lightyears away from becoming Vod, and she still wondered if it would be worth it after everything she had been put through here. Yet, she still found herself trying. That must have meant something, right?

Shai was absolutely livid about everything that had been going on behind her back. And the fact that she had to fly all the way to Kaddak again for it certainly didn't help her sour mood. Less than a week after he lost his arm, she heard that Eliz destroyed his new one in a fight against someone that utterly clobbered them. She hoped that the stories were exaggerated. But what ticked her off the most was the fact that Eliz didn't come to her once to ask for her help. He simply blundered off to a safehouse that apparently belonged to Kranak. Where he fit into the story was another question.

Her armoured figure marched through the somewhat cleaner streets of Kaddak towards the apartment complex. Her heavy footfalls echoed through the lobby until she reached the stairwell. With no desire to actually make more work for herself her boots blasted her up along the stairs until she reached the correct floor. Her steps echoed through the hall of the abandoned building as her armoured form marched toward Kranak's door. With a deep breath she tried to calm herself and raised a hand to gently knock on the door. But she hesitated...

"No kark that, they asked for it." She grumbled as she took a step back.

The door blew apart as her vambrace's repulsor whined, soon followed by Shai stepping through the destroyed door. "Alright so which one of you little kriffers gets it first?!" She barked as she levelled her vambrace towards the occupants deserving of her wrath, the repulsor whining once again in preparation of a release. "And where the kark is that damn giant, I'm gonna kick his ass!" She continued as she yanked her helmet off with her free hand and threw it onto the couch.

Jenn had better things to do than stay at the safehouse hosting a moody teenager, her foolish boyfriend and their terrifying adoptive father.

These things all entailed nigh-suicidal plans, of course- which was part of the reason why she decided to afford herself some rest and recuperation. Walking right into the stronghold of House Verd to return the beskar'gam of a dead cousin could wait until after she got some shuteye and enjoyed doing.. well, nothing. The safehouse granted a modicum of safety, allowing her to relax and drop her guard, if only for a while... something that would prove beneficial, no doubt. Maybe she'd even catch some shuteye and recharge her social batteries.

She was tinkering with her jetpack when the door was thoroughly blown apart. Obeying her instincts, she immediately reached for her revolver, pointing it right at the-

Oh. Oh, that was beskar'gam, and a very, very angry person behind the buy'ce, alright.

''Uuuuh... I'm sorry. Who are you?''

There was that slight whine of a repulsor. Faint, especially through the door. But his enhanced hearing could pick it up. Enough that he could reach out and snatch his Buy'ce to put the helmet on just before the door burst open. Thankfully so as the door crashed onto the floor. Even with his helmet protecting his ears, he visibly winced in pain. He immediately pulled one of his pistols free, turning it's barrel towards the door.

".. Shai!?"

Confusion and disbelief filled his voice as he lowered his gun from her. Why did she- What- His helmet hid the absolute confusion on his face, but he did manage to get at least one question out verbally.

"Who gets what first?"

The moment the sound of the door being destroyed hit her ears, the half Arkanian leapt from her seat, leaving her broken pistol and audio reader lessons in the dust. She used the Force to call her prized rifle, the Distant Chill DC-01, into her arms as she darted from the room. Hastily setting it to automatic rifle mode, she skidded into the living room where raised voices were. She raised her rifle, aimed-

Wait, this person looked familiar.

As Jenn Kryze's question was asked, Gwyn blinked rapidly before lowering her rifle, asking at the same moment as Eliz, "Shai Krayt?"

As Eliz asked the hyena lady a question of his own, Gwyn tried to calm her rapidly beating heart. Finger off the trigger, Gwyn stood down and swung her rifle up, resting it casually against her shoulder. "Er, you broke our..."

She trailed off. Of course, Gwyn could tell Shai was angry. Kriffed off. Gwyn gulped, transported to memories of cruel teachers and even her coldly furious father. She took a step back, her grip on her rifle tightening as she wondered if she needed to defend herself. The engineer's eyes were wide as she opened her mouth to speak to Shai, but... turned her attention to Jenn instead. Her eyes instantly narrowed in annoyance as she found herself staring at the know it all Vod's helmet.

"Stand down already, Jenn. She's a friend... I think."

With utmost vigilance, the giant was walking the crowded streets of Kaddak, looking for decent to high quality hunting supplies as he browsed the various stands in today’s bazaar. The streets were busy like a beehive at this time of the day. He needed to buy some for Gwyn’ika for a hunt he had in mind on Kestri. It had been some time after uttering the adoption vow to her, taking Gwyn as a Foundling. With that being the case, they could finally take her to Kestri, and show her around. Show her why they could not take her there earlier, among a bunch of other things he had in mind for her. It would be a special trip.

Though normally he would not be outside in broad daylight right now, they didn’t need to be stuck in a safehouse like they used to be anymore, after what had transpired a week ago, and with Karjr’s efforts of cleansing the planet of powerful criminal organizations, the planet became safer and safer with each passing day. Though that was no excuse for a Mandalorian to stop looking over their shoulder for even a moment. Their sacred metal, beskar, was in high demand in the criminal underworld.

Of course, there would only be one vod outside the safehouse with the rest remaining indoors until said vod came back, but they could leave the house at any given time now, even in daylight. Perhaps except for Gwyn. Maybe the Empire she had fled was counting on them to lax, lower their guard and relax. She wouldn’t truly be safe until she was taken to Kestri.

There were a number of merchants selling a number of items. Some were completely useless, even to some aruetii. There were some decent quality weapons and gear here and there, but nothing that overly sparked the giant’s interest. He had already spent an hour and a half walking the bazaar, taking a look at every merchant’s wares that sold anything resembling a weapon, be it a blaster or a melee weapon of any kind. It was just usual street trash one would expect some gang members to be armed with. You couldn’t shoot the broad side of a barn with some of the antiquated blasters here.
<”What a sad display of weapons.”> the giant muttered to himself softly as he walked away from another stall. The merchant behind the counter must have heard him, as the Rodian shot a frown at him.

This was fruitless. He would not find anything he looked for here in this marketplace. It would be for the best if he bought the hunting supplies in Kestri, instead. That made more sense. There was no use wasting his precious time in an attempt to find gold among the trash here.

Just as the giant turned around to leave the bazaar, a series of short beeps blared inside his helmet. His interactive heads-up display warned him about his concealed sensors in and around the safehouse building pick up movement. With a pre-recorded movement of his eyes, the giant brought up the live feed from the hidden cameras he had installed to see who it was. The giant fastened his pace in the meantime, walking at a brisk pace back home as he parted the crowd around him, starting to take one of the many safe routes leading to the safehouse.

He would halt in bemusement in the middle of the busy street as he saw who it was. Shai Krayt!? His second in command? What was she doing here? After a short pause of surprise, the giant continued to walk at his brisk pace. There was some ground he’d need to cover before he could reach the slums, where his safehouse was located.

He followed the Shistavanen vod ascend the booby trapped staircases with her rocket boots with relative ease. She came to a halt at the same floor where his safehouse was located. At a slow but steady pace, Shai walked up to the armored door, and stood there for a moment. She had raised his right hand to knock on the armored door, but hesitated.

But with a swift change of mind, his vod took a step back a moment later, and raised his left gauntlet at the door. He could see the trailing Whistling Birds launching from her left vambrace. The safehouse door was completely blown apart by the Wishtling Birds, allowing her unwarranted passage inside!
<What in the kark are you doing!?> the giant exclaimed internally as he broke into a sudden sprint from a brisk pace. Much to their discomfort and disgruntlement, he began pushing away the aruetiise before him as he double timed to the safehouse.

<”Eliz, Gwyn, Jenn! Come in! What in the kark is going on in there?”> Kranak spoke into his comlink, in an attempt to get in touch with any of them. He was not met with any immediate response, however.

He had no idea what Shai was there to do, but if she hurt anyone in that apartment…

The giant assumed a combat stance as he walked at a brisk pace with his blaster pistol drawn from his right kama holster. Clutching it in his right hand, the giant stabilized the pistol with the other, cautiously walking towards the door blown wide open. He had no idea what he would be facing. Did she go completely crazy? Did she go rogue? Who or what was she after? Why did she blow up the damn door instead of knocking?

The giant let out a deep sigh. He hoped it was just Shai being Shai. He was one of the last vode he would not want to fight with. She was his old friend back from the Union. She was in his squad and his second, for Manda’s sake! He trusted her with his very life! Whatever the cause for this intrusion, he needed answers, and he needed them now.

His particle blaster pistol raised, the giant stepped into the safehouse in vigilance; the blasted scrap metal that once was an armored door, clattered and crushed softly underneath his armored feet. He didn’t see any other signs of struggle or conflict, yet. He would soon turn around the corner to his right and enter the living room.

Everybody's reactions were somewhat what she expected... not that she cared, she wanted answers. Her vambrace pointed to the other two as she glared at them. "A karkin' repulsor to the head so you learn to use your kriffin' comms." She fired right back at Eliz without taking her eyes off the other two until they lowered their weapons. Gwyn would know enough to not try anything, though the other one wasn't familiar to her. "The angry mutt who's gonna send you through the wall behind you if you don't get that blaster outta my face." She growled at the new person's question.

With a huff she lowered her vambrace and looked at Gwyn. "Great to see ya again, Gwyn. Wasn't expectin' it to be so soon again, though. Hope the lessons have been going well." She spoke with a significantly calmer voice as she smiled lightly at Gwyn. Though her scowl returned immediately when she looked back to Eliz. "I had to find out through a bunch of exaggerated stories that you not only lost your arm again, but you and your girl had your asses handed to you by some random person. And then you just kark off to this dump without so much as a word! My karkin' commanding officer knows more about what's going on in your life than me. I'm your karking mo-Alor, for cryin' out loud!!" She scolded him, though her stumbling over her words wasn't exactly something she was counting on. She hoped he didn't pick it up. "You scared the crap outta me, you pointy-eared hopgoblin." Her anger had dissolved into annoyed concern as she looked at him. Her gaze returned to the armoured stranger. "And you. You look like a sad rip-off Nite Owl, where the hell do you fit in with all this? Who are you, even? His side-"

Her ears flicked as something moved behind her.

Her mane stood on end as she spun around to see if it was who she hoped it was. "Kranak!"

BOOM

Her repulsor went off straight at his chest at nearly point blank range to send him flying right back out of the apartment as she marched after him. "Ima send you for comms lessons too, you overgrown street lamp!" She scolded him. "The least you could do is tell me when one of my kiddies came to you for help with something!" Her fists were balled as she glared daggers through him with her glowing cybernetic eyes.

The giant halted a few meters before reaching the doorway leading to the living room of the apartment as he heard his second in command shouted loudly at his vode in the living room. The Supercommando pricked up his ears, listening to what she was saying before intervening.

”...I had to find out through a bunch of exaggerated stories that you not only lost your arm again, but you and your girl had your asses handed to you by some random person. And then you just kark off to this dump without so much as a word! My karkin’ commanding officer knows more about what’s going on in your life than me. I’m your karking mo-Alor, for cryin’ out loud! You scared the crap outta me, you pointy-eared hopgoblin.”

Shai was the young lad’s Clan Alor!? Eliz sure didn’t tell him anything about that. The giant had assumed the young Mandalorian was not a part of any clan, as a result. Unaffiliated to a clan was somewhat unorthodox, but certainly not unheard of. Maybe the kid’s clan was among the ones that were completely decimated by the Sith when they laid waste to Manda’yaim. There were a lot of loners out there that probably had their clan butchered by the Sith, so they chose not to talk about it or keep their clan identities to themselves altogether.

The giant heaved a sigh of relief, hearing Shai hadn’t lost it. He felt ashamed of himself for even considering that, now. He had become paranoid over the years to a point of doubting his vod, now?

Smoothly, with a leathery clack, the giant holstered his particle blaster pistol back into its kama pistol holster. Though he had a bunch of questions now. How in the kark did she find them in Kaddak? Who had spread rumors or highly exaggerated stories about Eliz? And where was she going with this? He wasn’t sure about what she had in mind. She was obviously upset and very angry about being kept in the dark for so long, but was Kranak to be blamed? He didn’t even know Eliz and Shai were in the same Clan, until now!

The giant continued to walk at a slow pace. He turned around the corner and stood by the doorway as Shai continued her rant.

”And you. You look like a sad rip-off Nite Owl, where the hell do you fit in with all this? Who are you, even? His side-”

Her rant would come to an end as she spun around towards the doorway. Where Kranak stood. His vod exclaimed his name upon her red glowing cybernetic eyes met the giant’s glimmering white visor.
”Kranak!”

<”Shai-”>He took a step forward to come closer and talk with his second in command, but her response to his presence was to lift her vambrace towards him and discharge her built-in repulsor unit.

With a very loud boom, the giant was swept off his feet and was sent flying towards the wall behind him in great force. The Supercommando’s back slammed on the ferro-crete wall at his rear. The VT Kinetic Gel underneath his backplate cracked -- but did not crumble -- as it hardened upon impacting the wall, protecting the giant’s back from any inconvenient injury.

The giant had slid onto the ground on his shebs after hitting the wall. He swiftly looked up at the pair of angrily glowing red eyes before him as Shai walked closer. Her cybernetic fists clenched in anticipation of a fight.

”Ima send you for comms lessons too, you overgrown street lamp! The least you could do is tell me when one of my kiddies came to you for help with something!”

The giant Ori’ramikad stood up slowly off his shebs from the ground as he retorted. <”Were you raised in a barn? Do they blow up doors instead of simply knocking where you come from? You ill-mannered cur!”> More often than not, he never actually meant what he said to his vode in anger. He loved them, after all. Some knew that, too. But that never meant he would not be facing the consequences of his words, whether he meant it or not.

The moment after his retort, with a swiftness that belied his giant stature, the Supercommando leaped towards Shai in hopes of knocking her on to the ground. His rocket boots were activated for less than a second with a sharp whine of its boosters to supplement his velocity. If successful with knocking her down, the giant would then swiftly mount her on her chest to keep her pinned on the ground as he would bring his fists slamming down on her face.

Jenn flat out ignored Gwyneira Vizsla Gwyneira Vizsla 's words, eyes trained on the angry mutt in question. At no point did she make a motion to lower that revolver of hers, simply calculating how many shots her unique physiology would require- perhaps three, give or take... and two more to ensure lethality. Naturally, it only left one bullet as a margin of error, which was less than ideal-

Oh, right. She was talking to the little chit, and the two knew each other. Which meant that she was most likely not here to claim their scalps- merely an eccentric. Still silent as ever, the warrior was just about to finally lower her weapon when Shai Maji Shai Maji spoke again... and insulted her and her heritage. How dare she call her an unworthy heir to the heroes of old! With a sharp inhale, she returned her elegant weapon to its holster, cracked her knuckles... and strode towards the battling duo.

That Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla was battling someone on par with his (considerable!) skill mattered little to her. One did not insult the Nite Owls, nor her, without consequences. She would make that woman spit out an apology- and if she had to fight the Supercommando at the same time, so be it. Cursing the absence of a jetpack to use, she knew better than to punch the man's buy'ce: instead, she aimed to slam her palms on the sides of it, steadying it in the hopes of keeping it still for a strike from her armoured knee.

Eliz Krayt Eliz Krayt

Everything was going so fast. Shai's rampage, Kranak coming home, Shai yelling at Eliz, Shai then insulting Jenn (Gwyn laughed at that part), and... Shai just attacking Kranak. Gwyn gasped, instinct to protect jumping in but also struggling with her course of action. As Jenn too approached the fight, typical Jenn, Gwyn bit her lip. She really wished she had her ion/ stun pistol fixed and in her hands. Instead, she just had the Distant Chill, and that was lethal. How in the Galaxy could she stop this? She did not want her father getting hurt!

Gwyn cast her rifle aside and used the Force to leap up into the couch. Flashing Eliz and apologetic look for crushing his chips, she climbed and made another Force leap close to the two fighters. Gwyn gritted her teeth. She could relate to Shai more than the canine knew. The bitterness and betrayal of being left in the dark. The terror and anger of being ghosted. Fear of abandonment, rage that she was not high enough priority. Treachery, insecurity, sorrow and agony... Gwyneira was still stung by the secrets that had been kept, and the secrets that still were.

She had been impossible to calm down herself, how could she stop Shai? She recalled that Eliz angrily shouting at her then shattering his arm had finally begun her cooldown. Would... would the physical pain of another cause Shai to pause? Gwyn's pain? But she had promised Eliz she would not self sacrifice again. Her mind was at a blank, then... She looked down at her hands.

She had something no other soul in this room had.

She lifted her hands, aiming to stop the aggressor in this room. She breathed sharply, struggling to keep calm and concentrate with Kranak, bullheaded Jenn, and perhaps Eliz if he wanted to all also being attackers. If Gwyn could simply relax... She shakily breathed in and out, reaching with the Force to lift Shai Krayt into the air, gently yet firmly. Question was, in this state was it possible? Gwyn was just trying to defuse this all. They just needed to calm down and talk, explain! Gwyneira had made the mistake of letting her anger turn into retaliation before. She did not want to see the same thing happen again.

"Kriffing calm the kark down! Let's karabasting talk this out before anyone gets injured!"

And everything was going to hell.

Eliz just stared in bewilderment. Did he.. Oh no. This was very much his fault. That's what instantly came to mind as he listened to Shai Maji Shai Maji . He didn't tell anyone anything. Being away from people for years really crushed his social skills. He looked to Gwyneira Vizsla Gwyneira Vizsla as she hopped beside him. Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla and Shai were already fighting. Jenn Kryze Jenn Kryze was going to join the fight too?

Ah god everything was chaos.

He reached out to stop Gwyn from joining into this too, but she was already up. Trying to get people to talk. That was a good idea at least.

"Chit."

It seemed that Shai struck a nerve with her CO as he pushed himself off the floor. "Better than whatever-" She didn't get to finish her retort before Kranak's massive form tackled her to the ground. The first hit slammed her head back against the floor, though the metalling 'ding' that rang from the impact could likely be heard quite clearly by the group around her. Blood immediately seeped from her nose and gums where Kranak's fist impacted, sticking to his gauntlet as well. As the second punch came down, she brought her arms up to deflect and punch back at him. "This is... probably... the closest you got... to ridin' a girl in your life, huh Kranak?!" She barked back with a bloody, malicious smile as she pulled an arm back for a low shot to his groin.

She was interrupted, however, when the Nite Owl wannabe came over and slammed her knee into his helmet. With a snarl Shai drove a beskar-clad fist against her available knee to bring her down as well. "Ima scorch those marks off your armour when I'm done with you, you karking Owl fraud!" She roared at the woman as she wiggled away from Kranak to get to her, her plasma cutter bursting to life on her vambrace to back up her threat. She didn't get very far, though, as she started to lift off the ground without any assistance from her tech or her commanding officer. Her enraged gaze snapped to Gwyn as she begged them to stop fighting. "Kark off, the adults are busy here!" Accompanying her scolding was another blast from her repulsor at Gwyn to free herself.

If freed, she would immediately turn her attention to Kranak and swing a roundhouse kick to his head. In one fluid motion a cybernetic fist would launch directly after at the Owl's gut, where the armour's coverage was bare.

The Force warned her to get out of the way. She let go of Shai, leaping away as a repulser blast hit the empty ground. Tears flooded her eyes. She felt like she had been punched in the gut, being talked to like that. Even if she had been shot at, the words still would have hurt worse. She scowled, shouting back, "Whatever! My input obviously doesn't matter!"

She turned, fists tightened as she scowled. As the fight continued behind her, she tried to shut her concerns for it off. She stomped over to Eliz, hurt in her expression. If she could not smooth over the situation, she would just run. "I'm working on my stun pistol! Only thing I'm good for today!"

She paused, then gave Eliz an apologetic look for taking her anger out on him. She winced, "Er, I love you. Maybe you should come with me? Not risk getting hurt?"

”Better than whatever-”

As she was in the process of retorting his insult, the giant had successfully tackled his second in command to the ground. Mounting her chest and pinning her down on the ground in the process, his right fist struck the Shistavanen vod’s face, hard. Her blood started to shed freely from her nose and mouth. The crimson fluid had splattered on his right fist. Blood was starting to dribble down onto the ground from his bloodied fist.

”This is… probably… the closest you got… to ridin’ a girl in your life, huh Kranak?!”

With a sanguine, malicious smile the Shistavanen had barked in response as several strikes crashed on her vambraces, blocking his attacks expertly. As his fist came crashing down on her vambrace a third and fourth time, he only just saw her pull her right arm back for a blow. Assuming she was aiming at his faceplate, the giant tucked his elbows as he raised his vambraces under his chin to block the incoming blow.

But her target was far too low than his buy’ce. With a metallic clatter, her fist struck at his codpiece. But some of the kinetic force behind her beskar fist had gone through. The strike got a muffled, irritated grunt out of him. If it wasn’t for the armor piece, he would have gotten hit pretty badly. The blow would have sent a lesser being howling in pain.

The giant returned her previous insult in kind just as he was about to bring his bloodied, right fist crashing down on her nose.
<”I am going to teach you some manners today you karking fleabag- Argh!”> Before he could deliver the strike at the Shistavanen, someone held his buy’ce steady with their palms and drove their knee at the side of his helmet, forcing the giant off the Shistavanen.

The giant fell on his right shoulder on the ground beside Shai, swiftly looking up to see who it was in anger, his white glimmering visor would meet the obsidian black visor of Jenn. What in the kark? What did she have to do with this fight?

The giant then quickly recalled Shai had insulted her.
<Oh, right.> He understood why. She had attacked him to get him off Shai so she could have her all for herself. <Not a chance!> The giant had intended to finish the fight. He would fight off Jenn too if he had to. He wasn’t gonna let Shai get off so easily, breaking into his safehouse and almost compromising Eliz and Gwyn.

"Ima scorch those marks off your armor when I’m done with you, you karking Owl fraud!”

Shai was also seemingly unpleasant with Jenn getting involved in the fight. This brawl was between him and the Shistavanen.

”Kriffing calm the kark down! Let’s karabasting talk this out before anyone gets injured!”

The giant heard Gwyn’ika shout as her hands shot towards Shai in hopes of subduing her with the use of the Force. The giant smoothly stood up while Shai sent a blow to one of Jenn’s knees in response to her slamming her knee to Kranak’s buy’ce.

<”Stay out of this, Gwyn!”> The giant shouted as he gave a stern glance at Gwyn. He could not let his daughter get involved in this fight. Not with Shai, no. He had shouted at the same time Shai scolded her.

”Kark off, the adults are busy here!”

As soon as he registered what Shai had just said, his hackles rose in rage. Did she just swear out his daughter in his home!? <”You dare? You dare swear out my daughter, you chakaar!?”> That had pissed him off properly. No, he was not going to let her get away with that. He was infuriated even more when the Shistavanen’s repulsor unit discharged while pointing at Gwyn’ika.

His anger increased two-fold as he heard Gwyn getting upset. Oh, Shai was in for it now.

At this point, Shai had stood up from the ground swiftly and had turned her attention to him at a moment’s notice. The giant rushed her in rage, aiming to slam his fist in full force at her left temple to knock her the kark out in one blow. Seeing the attack coming, however, Shai had masterfully sidestepped and delivered a roundhouse kick right on his faceplate, sending the giant stumbling backwards from the blow.

His buy’ce took the brunt of the blow. The rubber pads in the interior of his helmet had absorbed the kinetic energy behind the blow, mostly. The roundhouse kick to his faceplate momentarily disoriented him, but he would be quick to recover, denying the Shistavanen to take advantage of it. If it weren’t for his helmet though, he’d have to put up with blood gushing from gashes on his face and nose, accompanied with a very sharp headache.

Swiftly recovering from the blow, the giant raised his left vambrace towards the ground underneath the Shistavanen and launched his grappling hook. The hook would bounce off from the ground at an angle and coil around the stile of the chair behind the Shistavanen. She had her back turned against the kitchen. Once coiled around, the giant would pull the chair strongly with his grappling hook, sending it flying at Shai’s back. If it successfully struck her and caused her to lose her balance, the giant would follow up the diversion with a mean left hook aimed at her face, in hopes of sending her tumbling to the ground.

Walking into a fight between two beings who severely outclassed her when it came to battlefield experience was not exactly Jenn's brightest idea yet- but she was a vicious brawler, confident in her ability to beat the daylight out of these two belligerent cretins! At least, she was until Shai Maji Shai Maji sent her reeling back from that hit to the gut... but the pain of such a strike was nothing in the face of the absolute inferno of abject hatred coursing through her in the wake of the Shistavanen's words.

So it was that she slowly mustered back into a standing position... and, in a flash, took her revolver from its holster, and showed just how familiar she was with it. The design of the weapon was as archaic as her suit of armour: but she had learned to compensate for its failings: she pulled the trigger with one hand, using the other to cock back the hammer repeatedly. In so doing, she compensated the single-action nature of her revolver, sending all six shots with speed otherwise impossible to manage with such a weapon.

Hers was a doctrine of walking fire: with each shot, a step forward, unloading all six right into Shai. Four of those were aimed at Shai's chestplate- the last two, at Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla 's own, hoping to knock him on his ass long enough to handle the mutt.

"No no, cyare. This is my fault." Eliz turned his gaze to Gwyneira Vizsla Gwyneira Vizsla as the girl motioned for him to follow. Stay away from the fight. But how could he? He should of told Kranak about his relation with Shai Maji Shai Maji . Should've told Shai about the safe house Kranak Vizsla Kranak Vizsla had provided them. He followed Gwyn back to the master bedroom, but not to hide. Piece by piece he'd clip on his Beskar'gam, checking through the systems as the chaos outside ensued.

Honestly, he was grinning behind his buy'ce. When was the last time he'd fought Kranak? Hell, had he ever fought Shai? And he did need to show Jenn Kryze Jenn Kryze just how wrong she was in assuming he was weak. This just.. Felt more normal for him. Family. Once he got the last bit of his beskar in place he'd give Gwyn a thumbs up. "Throw on some armor and join in, if you feel up to it. Good time to bond and show Kranak just how much you've improved."

Not that he'd tell her how much he just wanted to get punched. It was his fault after all. Then he was off. He turned the corner, pulling free the heavy charric on his hip. Shai and Kranak were rolling around. Jenn pulled a gun. That seemed fitting. He'd level the heavy gun and squeeze the trigger. Blue streaked through the air in a tight group, aiming to slam into Jenn's raised hand and the side of her Buy'ce.

"Let's karking go."

After delivering a solid kick to his head, a laugh barked from Shai. "Oh cry me a river, butter cup!" She shouted back at him. After the punch at the Owl's gut, she spun back to face Kranak with her fists ready to continue with the fight. Then a gunshot... and another... then one more. Shai twisted to glare back at the girl emptying her slugthrower at her with a snarl. Her repulsor boots came to life as she leapt at the woman, a shot coming dangerously close and putting a hole through her ear as she went to tackle her.

It was a solid plan until a chair flew into her and sent her rolling against the wall. More shots rang out as Eliz decided to join in on the absolute chaos in the apartment. She pushed herself off the ground and was about to chew him out as well when a punch to her face sent her down to the ground in a daze. Her eyes threw static for a brief second or two as she looked up at him. When they stabilized again she threw a hard kick to his knee to bring him down, followed by an upwards kick to his face. She hoped that she could get his helmet off, give him a taste of his own medicine.

Scurrying back, she drew a pistol and aimed at his center mass as the sonic mode primed with a high-pitched whine. With heavy, snarling breaths she glared at him through the iron sights with her finger firmly around the trigger. But her gaze softened when she looked down at the gun and then back to him. Her bloodied maw parted to say something, though nothing came out of her as she lowered the gun and let it fall into her lap. "Karking ape..." She sighed as she stared up at him from the ground.

Gwyn grimaced. Kranak had told her to stay out of this! And now Eliz was getting involved? She didn't even have armor! She was too aruetii for that!

"Wait-"

Eliz was already out. Gwyn sighed, struggling with what to do. She grimaced. Wait. She had an idea! She darted to her bag and pulled out her satchel and pulled out the lightsaber she found fighting a weapons gang on Tatooine. She smirked.

She used the Force to open the lightsaber, made some adjustments, then closed it again. She then darted after Eliz.

"Wait!"

She skidded to a halt at the entrance. Shai seemed subdued, thankfully, but Eliz and Jenn were at it. She sighed. Rolling her eyes, she pulled out the lightsaber. She was going to end this.

She quickly activated the lightsaber, then threw it diagonal of the fights. Close enough to be heard, far enough not to hurt them. She had inverted the insert matrix, which meant that upon activation, the lightsaber would explode. Go boom. The perfect attention grabber. And Gwyneira knew a thing or two about attention seeking.

As the explosion completely took out the empty workbench, Gwyn roared. "STOP KRIFFING FIGHTING RIGHT THIS KARABASTING INSTANT!"

After Shai delivered the expertly timed roundhouse kick at the giant, several loud gunshots rang in the room in rapid succession, like a thunderstorm. A moment after he recovered and prepared his counterattack, he would see the slugs landing on her armor with a metallic plink. All of the rounds struck the ferrocrete walls behind Shai and the ceiling above her as they ricochet off her beskar’gam.

Two slugs slammed on the giant as well. His beskar’gam’s personal energy shield glared with an energetic azure where the slugs struck him. The shield protected him at the expense of some of its energy. He was taken aback for a moment. He was not assuming this fight would have evolved into something more lethal. Though they were all Mandalorians after all. He should have expected this would have happened. Shaking his head briefly, the giant fought on. He would have turned his attention from Shai for a brief moment to handle the one that shot at them with a revolver -- Jenn Kryze, the Nite Owl -- but Eliz, deciding to join the fight, had occupied her for the giant. The lad’s heavy charric blaster pistol roared with each pull of its trigger, unleashing streaks of blue blaster bolts at the Nite Owl.

The diversionary maneuver was successful against the Supercommando’s second in command. The chair flew into her, sending her tumbling towards him, to a wall nearby. Just as she was about to recover, he had delivered his left hook, sending her tumbling down onto the ground. With a snap whizz, the grappling hook coiled around the stile of the chair loosened, uncoiled and then retracted into its housing on Kranak’s right vambrace.

Satisfied, the giant began slowly approaching her with his guard up. He had her, now! The Shistavanen vod looked up at him in a dazed state. But she would be quick to recover, as she threw a hard kick at his left knee. The blow landed with a meaty clump; his knee crackled under Shai’s blow. Suddenly giving way at the left knee as a result from the blow, she brought the giant down to his knee. The giant winced slightly in pain, but this was nothing compared to what he had been through. He would soldier on. Or would have, if it weren’t for the second blow connecting right under his chin would be on his buy’ce.

The second upward kick landed with such violence, it sent his buy’ce flying upwards to the ceiling, revealing the giant’s scarred face.
”You KARKIN- his retort was cut short as the buy’ce fell on his head after hitting the ceiling above. The giant’s eyes shut in pain from the unexpected third blow as he fell on his back on the ground. He’d open his eyes once more shortly after shaking his head in pain.

The giant had laid his eyes on the Shistavanen also on the ground and on her back just in time. She scurried back as she reached for a pistol from her holster. Without skipping a beat, the giant answered in kind as he drew his blaster pistol from his right holster. They aimed their weapons at each other at the same time. Her pistol primed in a high-pitched whine. Her steely gaze softened when she looked down at her gun and then back at him. Her bloodied lips parted to speak, but nothing came out as she lowered his gun. The blaster fell into her lap.

The giant lowered his Westar 35c particle blaster pistol at the same time, with his finger off the pistol’s trigger. The giant’s chest rose and fell slowly as he kept his seemingly angered, steely gaze at the pair of faintly red glowing cybernetic eyes before him.

”Karking ape…”

”Says the mangy mutt.

The Supercommando retorted without skipping a beat. Keeping his sharp gaze at her for a few moments, the giant’s facial features relaxed, and he finally bursted into a hearty chuckle. The chuckle was muffled at first, but became louder as he laughed at their circumstance. They were evenly matched. He knew that. She knew that. But they had fought each other regardless. The only way of one of them winning the fight would have been with the other one dying, and neither the giant or the Shistavanen could kill the other.

The giant crawled towards her side as Jenn and Eliz fought on.
”Why in the kark didn’t you call me? You know my comlink is always open to vode.” the giant asked after lying down on the ground by her side, keeping his gaze at her cybernetic eyes. He would occasionally glance at Eliz while he fought. He’d recoil in bemusement at the loud, unexpected explosion coming from his right, deeper in the living room. “What in the-” He would look at the source of the almost deafening explosion, hearing Gwyn’ika’s roar at the same time.

”STOP KRIFFING FIGHTING RIGHT THIS KARABASTING INSTANT!”

The giant heaved a sigh as he looked at Gwyn. He wasn’t frustrated with her, no. He sighed at how futile it would be to stop Jenn from fighting. She was determined to fight and emerge victorious no matter the opponent she fought. She was stubborn. It was both a good and a bad virtue. He respected her stubbornness, but knowing what sort of enemies are lurking out there in the galaxy, it was only a matter of time until she butted heads with someone -- or something -- as stubborn as she was.
