Jed walked gallantly in full dress uniform down one of the hallways of the C-9969 transport heading towards the main large hangar, which connects to the ramp. Escorted by twelve B1 battle droids painted with blue and gold markings. Programmed no better than any other B1, with the exception of being ordered to protect the colonel at all costs, they served as sufficient body guards for the flamboyant colonel. A turbo-lift down and two hallways later he entered the vast expanse that was the hangar. Tanks and other armored vehicles could be seen in the back, where they were neglected in favor of the large infantry attack which was not only seen, but definitely heard marching out the only exit, in mass. Through the sea of tan the pink tinted Kerkov and his finely painted guards stood out like a sore thumb. They moved up between the block formations of droids, preparing for their annihilation at the hands of pirates. Jed looked across at each formation, to give the essence of inspecting each unit, but in reality did so for aesthetic.

Jed slowly made his way to the ramp exiting, finally arriving, he saw the battle at a grand scale. He could see the large B2s at the head of the formation take the larger portion of fire near the front, with the massive amount of B1s supporting behind them. The Techno Empire's droid army dropped like flies, but they made progress efficiently. Which pleased Kerkov, he wanted to get this bit over with and go straight to the celebration and awards session for these things. As he made his way down the ramp his body guard droids formed a box around him, Jed oblivious to the matter as he fired inaccurately at the general direction of the enemy pirates. The sensation was very pleasing, very pleasing indeed.

As he fell in line he noticed the all too familiar Rodian make his way there, breaking into the formation and quickly picking up on the metronome, "From what I can tell, we don't get to spill blood per say. More like oil at best. We got droids to deal with. That is all I know." he said in response, his face still filled with childlike joy as he continued in step, trying to focus his breath, containing the excitement as best he could though in his every word it still hid that tint of bubbling joy.
The soldiers lined up, a hurried rush as an assumed hail of fire met them all as they ran into the Hangar Bay, men jumping behind the crates and boxed, their guns gripped in their hands as they began to take pot shots at the advancing forces, the hail of returned blaster fire peppering through the units, they were outnumbered, though at least for the first wave, they wouldn't be outmatched. Slowly he listened to the gunfire, he didn't have blasters on him, he had slug throwers and couldn't waste time spending shots on nothing, instead he sat their, taking control of the Soldiers, though they needed little, he couldn't exactly see some sort of side attack, no flank that could be taken, they were stuck with a full frontal assault.

After minutes of light whizzing across the battlefield, the enforcers armor holding strong he took a quick look over, the numbers had been cut down on their side and given him enough time to take a peak, with a few seconds he scouted what was immediately in front of them before dropping back down, a lone droid taking notice and firing a shot at him, "Great... Battle droids and Droidekas...." he groaned as he took to his Comm link, "Flannigan, were gonna need some heavier guns down here." he moaned as a single blast whizzed over head, "Son of a...." he dragged on, "We got B2's and Droidekas and the Blasters ain't gonna cut it." he continued, his voice changing to a hush, he doubted they could here him over the gunfire, but more ridiculous things had occurred on the battlefield.

As he finished his message he turned it off, taking another peak as he heard another shot whizz over head, his fingers rolling down his side as a hand wrapped around a gun, his finger at the trigger as he took note of a single Pink Skinned man wading through the ranks, with the flick of the wrist and the rush of adrenaline came a new noise to the battlefield, a hammer smashing down on metal as a bullet went whizzing through the air, its metal form heading straight for the Pink skinned man.

With her lightsaber drawn, she finds that their comrades-in-arms were fighting the enemy heavy infantry, which, according to all estimates, would be able to take out 20-30 B1s for each death they could sustain. But with a breach created in the minefield at the back, Jessica found herself having to blast the door of the Hutt Cartel's main base, hoping that the automated turrets meant for suppressive fire would be taken out in short order. But she was to rely on Art of Movement to make sure that she could evade the enemy suppressive fire; these pirates didn't expect Jedi or other lightsaber-wielding enemies, only battle droids. Because the two defensive blaster emplacements were rather clumsy and inaccurate, they were not much better than the B1 droids they were designed to engage. Despite her lightsaber skill not being that great, she could still somehow bat away the enemy blaster bolts with the green lightsaber. With that said, the tanks blasted open the other defensive blaster emplacement that Jessica didn't engage.

"A-ha! Their rear defenses are down!"

Aut-X quickly made use of the new opening in their defences provided to him by Jessica. Squads of B1 Battle Droids were sent to gather at her position, the Commander amongst them stepping forth to speak. ''Ma'am, the Colonel has placed us at your disposal. My droids and I are yours to command.'', it said in the quirky tone of voice common with B1 units, quickly giving Jessica an eager salute. One of the droids commented to another quietly. ''I never thought we'd be fighting alongside a Jedi for a change!''

Meanwhile, Aut-X's Magnaguards had whittled down the defences of the lone Sith attempting to fight them, the trio quickly overwhelming him with electrocution from their staffs before one of the BX-series Commando Droids with them stepped forth and finished the darksider off with a blaster bolt to the head. ''The Sith is eliminated. Push forward quickly, we've earned yet another avenue to pursue our attack from.'', Aut-X said over their comms channel as more reinforcements arrived, the HMP Droid Gunships dropping off another large group of B1 Battle Droids, who quickly rushed down the newly opened corridor, joining up with the commando team to assist their push further into the enemy lines.

Another wave of droids came and among them were destroyers. Mephite sighed in weary resignation. Not that he was fatigued but it was a habit he'd picked up from organics. It expressed his current mood quite well.

He also felt growing irritation when his shots did nothing to the droidekas. The growing intensity of the blaster fire forced him into a sprint towards better cover. The stack of crates where'd he'd taken refuge a moment ago was reduced to matchwood.

"Mr.McNash, I require assistance in the hangar bay."

His synthetic voice was eerily calm over the gunfire. Much calmer than the Shard felt. Normally he'd have done in his targets by now. Not this bunch and that was starting to concern him.

At least the durasteel walls offered more solid protection. For now. He peeked his head around the corner to check on things. Only the IG-86s reflexes kept the head from being taken completely off by a salvo of bolts.

As it was, a shot grazed the side of his head before he could withdraw again. All he could do was sigh in exasperation as he waved away the smoke. He needed that to see, hear and speak. Stupid battle droids....

Cadan looked to Sareen as he approached a smile crossing his face. "I knew ya wounldn't miss somethin' like this!" Cadan said as he walked towards the lizard, throwing an arm over his shoulder. "Time ta burn some steel." Cadan darted away from the pair like an overly excited dog chasing a stick. Behind him followed a few enforcers.

"Gonna get ya some 'elp droid." Cadan said over his comms in reply to @Mephite. The Duros darted through corridors making his way down to the Hanger Bay. Once he reached the locations, Cadan saw the overwhealing amount of droids there and a sad smile crossed his face. "Not sure if I got me enough bullets for this one." Right off the bat Cadan let loose a rocket from his rocket system. The projectile took out a chuck of the approaching droids, although there were more to fiill their place. "Flanno, 'e is right. We need more guns." Just like Cadan expected, his adreneline had kicked in and the effects of the drugs were wearing away quickly.

The new alliance had been formed not too long ago with the siege on a fortress, Mythos was back and so was Cadan. He picked up on the arriving late from Cadan, but Mythos was there with the Jar'Kai and each of them was mounted on a Guarlara and set back in the hangar bay while their frigate landed and they dismounted. Once prepared and armed Mythos assembled his small cavalry and briefed them on the assault. Shortly of course. "Allies need help in the middle of the hangar, we ride and kill until blaster bolts stop flying! Charge!"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75zmIj_4LFQ

The Guarlaras that Mythos brought from Naboo and bred in Atrisia were genetically enhanced to be faster than normal, they were bigger because of selective breeding too. Lightly armored with durasteel plating and plasteel cover they could take a blaster shot or two. Before long Mythos broke through the hangar and unleashed his cavalry on the droid forces of the techno union, lightsabers in hand and being shot at with blasters and rockets...

The courageous cavalry charged from the backs of Guarlaras while wielding red lightsabers and unleashing force powers such as sith lightning and force crush. When they met the front line of the droid forces Mythos could only think of the time he failed to stop the techno union from taking over Naboo. This was revenge. Justice being dealt after a decade. Axe in hand, Mythos went to work attempting to cleave droids in half from the back of a Guarlara. His men wore the uniform of Atrisian elite warriors, Mythos wore the armor of the Atrisian king with a long cape, symbol of the Axe in it's center. The crown steady on his head. If this was the Techno Union, the very same Techno Union of old, then they would see a ghost from the past coming back to haunt them.

"This is search-and-destroy: kill all the Hutt Cartel hostiles in your path. We are right were we want them: they will realize that they have enemies off their backs"

"Roger, roger"

The enemy made grave mistakes: they concentrated their entire force at the front without realizing, thanks to Jessica having sliced the point-defense and its sensor array, that the Imperial forces have also been quietly moving around their back. She also realized that she had a few hundred B1 droids at her disposal, but said droids were still just as flawed as its originals: they showed the same kind of emotions their Clone Wars-era brethren did. That was a torrent of droids while she waited on Werah's Z-5s to engage the brunt of the enemy force. Jessica was there, seeking out the enemy heavy infantry that were and lo, and behold, they were caught in a firefight. Jessica shall give the Hutt Cartel a taste of the wrath of the Techno Empire! While Jessica was using her lightsaber to bolt back the bolts fired herway, she realizes that the droids' poor aim made them miss pretty often, only a small fraction hit their targets, leaving a lot of dents in the walls.

Aut-X had not foreseen this sudden change of events, but he knew how to adapt to a situation. He made quick use of Jessica's flanking attack. A large group of fifty B2 Super Battle Droids descended from the landing craft, reinforced by a trio of towering B3 Ultra Battle Droids. They quickly adopted a defensive formation, the B2's firing far more precise shots than those of the B1 units. After all, the B1's were meant to overwhelm with numbers either way. They were supported well by the B3 units, who fired their blasters, wide-spray plasma cannons and flamethrowers into Mythos' lines, cutting down quite a few of their number in the initial few blasts.

Meanwhile, BX-series Commando Droids armed with sniper rifles positioned themselves on the walkways above the hangar, and began precisely picking off Guarlara riders atop their mounts, likely causing the beasts to fall into a frenzy amongst the enemy lines. Aut-X regretted the loss of so many of his droid brethren, but he could afford it. The CIS of old could win any war of attrition if it had the necessary supplies, something Aut-X had stocked a plentiful amount of....

Werah's heavy suit allowed his to carry much larger weapons than usual, and the massive blaster cannon felt good in his hands. The Z-5s alongside him towered above him, though his suit did make seem a little less gigantic. Werah knew that it wouldn't be long until they reached the enemy position, and he felt the adrenaline rush through him. He closed his eyes, feeling the force, and his connection to it. He used his energy for the battle as fuel, and charged up his force-shield, along with his regular one. His massive fists crackled with energy, as they approached the battlefield. "CHARGE!!", Werah shouted, and the Z-5 began to zoom along, moving incredibly fast for their size. Werah almost struggled to keep up, but they did not have far too travel. And then they were there, chaos all around, blaster bolts screaming through the air. Werah started firing carefully, using the deadly bolts of the cannon to take out key targets. Then, the Z-5s let loose, unleashing a hailstorm of death on their foes, rapidly turning the tide. Werah cheered as he loosed his next shot. This pirate base was going down!

Mephite decided the best course of action was to 'spray and pray'. He stuck out his E-11 around the corner and depressed the trigger. A human couldn't have fired a blaster rifle one-handed on full automatic. It was a good thing he wasn't human.

He didn't know exactly what he was firing at. But sticking his head around the corner last time had almost gotten it blown off. Mephite had grown attached to his head. Besides that he needed it to see and hear.

Therefore he sprayed into the advancing mass of droids. Mephite would've grinned if he had lips. Nothing sounded so sweet just then as B-1s being blown away. It didn't exactly take care of the destroyers but life was about the small victories.

"Acknowledged," the droid's voice replied to [member="Cadan Tazi"]. He hoped that [member="Flannigan Mcnash"] and his help arrived soon. Getting vaporized wasn't part of the agreement. Being shot at was one thing but getting shot was another.

Just like that, the bay absolutely exploded into chaos. What shadows in the bay there even was came and went as flashes--from both blaster muzzles to the plasma bolts sailing through the air. It was a good thing Bazinki's antennae were conditioned to all the violent vibrations raiding the air around him.

Cursing in Huttese, the rodian dashed and rolled towards the nearest cover with Thraxis, which happened to be a pile of crates nearby. At the start, he could do little other than poke his head out, as caution was required with this many plasma bolts whizzing around his head. He too, spotted the flamboyant and strangely pink man, but could not get a clear shot; a B1 droud spotted him, and took a shot that just barely missed Bazinki's peeking head.

Then, the Guarlaras began their charge. With at least some of the attention drawn away, the rodian used this to his advantage to take aim at the mass of battle droids around the corner with his Vonginator, pulling back the trigger with his cupped finger. The blaster rocked into his shoulder as it fired off what almost seemed to be...nothing, but resulted in a few scrapped droids anyway. The rodian had no need to get used to the invisible bolts that were shot, since it reminded him of a slugthrower in a way.

He figured he needed to work on crowd control, and as long as he had kept his decent aim, he could do it effectively given a few moments. So far, he was too lost in the chaos to realize that there were enemies lurking at the flank...

Thraxis watched as Mechs started to rush along, a sly smile running down his face, switching open his Comms he took control of the Situation while Flannigan got the men ready, 'All soldiers, full Scale Retreat!" he commanded, he didn't care if they were his rank, he was taking control of the situation as it slowly shifted further and further down the deep end as he watched cannon fire turn hardened veterans into piles of paste, "Anyone left, set up E-Webs in the hangar Corridors, then I want as many spare troops to go and support its location!" he demanded, he saw the size of those Behemoths, they couldn't fit down the corridor even if they crawled.

As the last man retreated, he made his way back, watching as a few of the E-Webs where set up to make a corridor of death, even the more protected Droidekas with sufficient firepower would fall to a heavy assault of Blasters rushing over them. He looked up and down the walls, taking a rough estimate, "A little under Two meters.... Well. Should be small enough for a cover of blaster fire." he muttered with a hint of grimace.

Cadan's vein's were flowing with adreneline and spice, and this all seemed to increase as he saw Mythos charge in. "Go get 'em!" Cadan shouted as he ducked out from cover and unloaded a few shots into the chest of one of the Z-5's. But the scene was changing in front of his eyes quiet rapidly. It was time for backup.

"Fall back boys!" The Duros voice ran through the comms in the hanger bay, thanks to his helmet. The voice of the Duros was recognizable to all those that had spoken to him before, it was the voice of a man who had smoked everyday in his life and drank more liters than it would take to fill a pool.

"Tyler get Sempra's Damnation 'ere now. We need ordanace." Again Cadan was speaking through his comms, although this time he was connected to his Kossak Class Destroyer dub Sempra's Damnation.

Cadan then began his retreat, firing a few shots over his shoulder, he also took a few shots in his back although his arm managed to absorb the hits. He saw the E-webs getting set up by Thraxis and quickly darted into a small armoury and loaded up on some thremal detonators, he also managed to stumble upon some WW-41 CryoBan grenades. A smile crossed Cadan's mouth from under his helmet, he had always wanted to throw one of these. In a instance Cadan threw one at some droids and watched the magic happen. The grenade detonated and let out an icy chill covers the droids in a layer of ice, the ice and cold managed to penertrate the circuits of the droids and cause wreak havoc on their progams. "Who even needs EMPs!" Cadans shouted as he pass the grenades to those as they walked through the passage way out of the hanger.

"One, two, three." the light of his eye's winked out and he breathed it in, let the moment fill his senses took a mental freeze frame and the lights flicked on again, the lives of friends and foes on the knife edge the breath before the storm. He sent a finger spearing towards button pressed down on it with a light 'snap' and sounds blazed around the rock.

Containers sprang open and the metallic clink of feet could be heard, as B1S, and B2S woke from silent slumber, I wonder do Droids dream of electric sheep? The force marched down the corridor their sleak forms painted in rustic colours of grey and brown with the symbol of the cartel glassed to their chests. Left, right, left, right they marched backing up the troops, relieving them of contested positions and allowing more to funnel down the corridors and away from the fight.

34FLcYI.png
A voice blurred to static life and the channel of the cartel opened up. "This Flannigan Mcnash, speaking. This is all going to plan, please make your way down the corridor in an orderly fashion and group up together, [member="Mephite"], please take a set of thermal charges and set them along the corridors, [member="Bazinki"], I want you on his back. Let them come to us create a funnel and blow them away."

The raw of engine the glow of their firelight, the throoming sound as they left hangar and emerged into true space going deathly silent, for in space no one hears you throom. Fighters and bomber began to swarm the sky turning in roiling masses of durasteel and wire.

Mythos knew two things about cavalry charges. The first being that they didn't really exist anymore and the second being that losses were inevitable, you charged into battle formations and before you could land a hit you were being shot at. Bravery, courage and an intense desire to see victory.... Mythos did not kill a droid yet, but he was about to. Left and right his men fell with man and beast yet their numbers were still very healthy, the Jar'Kai were skilled enough to deflect blaster bolts on top of their mounts using Shi-Cho and Soresu. The droids and the TU hit them hard but they could not stop the Guarlara cavalry from sinking into the droid battle lines. While [member="Thraxis"] and [member="Cadan Tazi"] called for a full retreat and used tactics and strategy to defeat their enemies Mythos had no such ideas or desires in mind. Mythos would not follow that order to retreat.

When Guarlara Calvary met clanker line the sound was that of a speeder crash at a thousand miles per hour. Lightsaber met Durasteel and the guarlaras' mighty eight hooves trampled the droids under them like junkyard scrap. Mythos rode hard and fast at the head of the charge flanked on all sides. He swung his mighty axe and took down a super battle droid with a single swing, riding hard he swung again and the speed of the guarlara under him plus the strength of his arm not only destroyed the super battle droid but sent it flying several yards away.

Beside Mythos was a black beast called Groom, his Tuk'ata. Five hundredpounds of Korribanian ferocity descended upon the lines of the Techno Union with impunity. Jar'Kai warriors who were dismounted from their Guarlaras found that on foot they were even more deadly. Able to focus on abilities like Telekinesis to halt blasts of flame from flame throwers, Saber throws to eliminate multiple droids at once and Sith Lighting to destroy chains of droids by chaining the lightning to multiple battle droids, the Jar'Kai found their body count rising steadily and the flow of droids stiffed.

One thing Mythos did accomplish. A lot of guns aimed at his allies were now aimed at him and his men. "This is for Naboo."

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
Meanwhile, while the battle was raging on, HK was on a different mission.

The droid army Techno Union used was a slave army, it had no will of its own, only masters, HK faced it before in years gone by during the Clone Wars, aligning himself with the Jedi forces, he knew their tactics, and simplicity of their machines, well. And he knew how to take it down.

As [member="Flannigan Mcnash"] knew, the droid bounty hunter had an uncanny ability to sneak into places no other would dare, Hutt palaces included, this time it was the Techno Union command center that was his goal, whether it was a ship or a building, his black stealth ship would make an appearance near it, covered by the darkness of space, the ramp lowering quickly to let the droid jump out and cling to the metal surface.

"Remember, I do not want credits or your crappy weapons for this, Flannigan, if I succeed, you will allow me to cash in a bounty on one of your underlings."

The droid reminded Flannigan his terms, a price to pay for dealing with the robot devil. As the vessel disappeared again into the void HK quickly found himself a vent and opened the cover, slipping inside. His target was [member="Aut-X"], this was going to be a duel of the droids, or at least a chat of the droids, he didn't exactly want to disable the droid general if he could talk some sense into it.

Either way, some creative application of his chameleon cloak and sound dampeners later, the machine managed to stealth his way by Aut-X's position while the battle raged on.

Suddenly behind Aut-X a form would appear as if out of thin air, HK casting off the invisibility field of his cloak, clad in the black stealth cloak and queer armor, variety of weapons hanging off of his belt along with a lightsaber and magnetic revolvers,

"Hello, cousin."

He addressed Aut-X, if the general had any guards, like Magnaguards for example, they would activate their weapons, taking a battle stance, it was very cinematic,

"I thought you Confederate models were obsolete, by few millenniums in fact."

''Old, not obsolete. I calculated the probability of an enemy infiltrator, and made preparations.'', Aut-X said, a ray shield suddenly activating around HK-36, containing him, while his communication frequencies were jammed. ''A rather ironic statement as well, all things considering. The fact you've remained operational this time speaks highly of your model.'', Aut-X remarked, as he stepped forth, examining the HK unit through the force field. A dozen BX-series Commando Droids guarded the room, as well as a pair of IG-100 Magnaguards. As the battle in the hangar raged outside, the ramp of the C-9979 Landing Craft acting as Aut-X's command center raised, sealing the vessel off from the conflict outside. It'd already deployed it's droids, after all, and Aut-X had already procured far more viable entry points. ''Your force wielding accomplice outside the ship is proving quite capable. Colour me impressed, though he severely overestimates his present situation. Why aid these pirates? You and I are far above them. They cause suffering to the innocent, and steal what they won't earn through hard work....'', Aut-X said in a curious tone, inspecting the ancient droid in front of him.

Meanwhile, Aut-X's forces had already secured the asteroid's docking tube, allowing one of their Munificents to dock with the asteroid and unload it's large complement of droids, which swarmed aboard quickly. The situation of the Hutt forces was growing increasing tenuous, yet Aut-X had offered them one avenue of escape. He had purposely kept defenses around the escape pod area light, in hopes these pirates might take the carrot and leave the station in his hands. He also ensured his droids maintain their distance from the pirates grouping together. He suspected they'd likely try an ambush. Events were transpiring just as his simulations had predicted.

Jessica's flanking force suffered about thirty casualties in the process of the attacking the defending force at the back, plastered by E-Web fire. In an attempt to deactivate the E-Webs off their backs, she changed her refraction index to -1 using Force-cloak, allowing her to remain unseen for a short while so that she could get back at the people manning the E-Webs, at the same time she disappeared from the optical receptors' view of the B1 battle droids, who still attempt to shoot down the E-Web crews hidden behind cover, only managing to hit the odd infantryman further down the corridor. Meanwhile, the airborne reinforcements of the Hutt Cartel began their bombing run towards the now-compromised asteroid base, without realizing that some of them were shot down, thanks to Jessica having acted on the computer controls of the point-defense. Once she was behind the E-Web, itself behind cover, she began using mind tricks on the crews manning the E-Web:

"The Hutt Cartel has lost"

"The Hutt Cartel has lost"

"You shall surrender to the Techno Empire now, without conditions"

"I surrender to the Techno Empire without conditions"

"You shall shoot at your Hutt Cartel friends"

"I shall shoot at my Hutt Cartel friends"

Now that the E-Web crews at the back have surrendered, they began to reposition the respective E-Webs to face down the hangar bay, providing suppressive fire once readied. The Hutt Cartel is in for a very nasty surprise as they have come to realize in horror that Jessica has used the Force to compel the guys delivering the suppressive fire to do so against their former friends. The time it took to recharge an Eksoan 4T3 after firing such a burst of fire at the battle droids was enough to reposition the repeating blaster into position to hit at the Hutt troopers. They could clearly see their former friends falling back by now, as the Hutt bombing runs from space were mostly aimed at the anti-aircraft.

Werah grinned, as he blasted the face of an unlucky pirate. The Z-5s had worked beautifully, but most of the pirates had gotten to cover. The Cavalry charge, however, would not get any respite. Werah ordered a sizeable portion of the Z-5s to mow them down, though he didn't want to spend all their firepower on them. Werah himself charged up the cannon again, aiming for the man leading the charge. With the big droids firing, the cavalry was being decimated. Looking back to the base itself, they seemed to be succeeding, but that wasn't Werah's problem at the moment. Overhead, the com link in his helmet told him that the TE's fleet was winning a overwhelming victory against the unprepared airforce. If everything went to plan, the asteroid would soon be theirs.
