SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Composite Beam: The Blaze Wolf strikes a target with firepower comparable to a very small turbolaser; additionally, its continual-beam fire means that this damage is sustained in an uninterrupted stream of energy for up to 4 seconds at a time. Among conventional personal arms, to say that this beast packs a punch is quite the understatement.

STRENGTHS
  • Reach Out and Poke It: The high-power beam of this cannon allows an infantryman to engage across a battlefield, or strike out at low-passing airborne craft.
  • Edge Impenetrable: Whether it be armored artillery or an entire squad of enemy infantry, whatever steps into this weapon's path is likely not long for this plane of existence.
  • Spear of the Chariot: This weapon's design minimizes the difficulty of incorporation into a vehicle's weapon systems, though it is built foremost as an infantry piece.
WEAKNESSES
  • Sword of Giants: Setting aside the weight of this weapon and the user's strength, the Blaze Wolf is simply made for larger hands than any human or near-human has ever had. This is a cannon built with the ergonomics and grips of a rifle. It's incredibly heavy and insanely large for a personal weapon.
  • Solar Flare: The heat put off by the Blaze Wolf is immense. Even if one could find a being large enough to wield this weapon in combat, their hands would burst into flames upon firing from sheer proximity to the beam emitters.
  • Short of Breath: This weapon can only fire for up to 4 seconds at a time safely, and depending on field conditions, can take anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds to cool down again to make operation viable. It also takes the Blaze Wolf around 4 seconds to charge its firing cycle. In the case of a critical overheat, the results could be... catastrophic in nature.
DESCRIPTION
A militant force, seeking to bring stability to a planet's ecological and political climate, could spend capital and resources commissioning a redesigned blaster carbine unique to their unit, with virtually no outstanding differences compared to available market models. Alternatively, they could commission a handheld laser cannon capable of burning entire regiments alive, crippling repulsor tanks, and disabling nearby shuttlecraft. With the Blaze Wolf Composite-Beam Cannon, the Sith Eternal have taken the second route.

Fear not the flame of the fire; rather, fear the hand which sparked it. Fear not corruption and division amongst you; fear the hands which sow the same in your communities. Fear not the fang or claw of the beast; fear the hand which directs its fury. Do not be afraid of what can hurt you. Be afraid of the coward inside you, who freezes in the face of danger. Battle, in its clash and scrape and fury, is not a trial. It is a choice, a bloody question asked of your innermost self: who holds sway? The coward? Or the Beast?
