OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Braith has had a storied past in creations made through alchemy, many of which were created as payment for others. Most recently she decided to grant those that took part in the dominion of Tammar with various gifts as an additional payment for their services. One of these such gifts would turn out to be a more blaster resistant material than their common clothing, Blastwebbing. Created by exploiting the blaster resilience of shell spider silk with alchemy, Braith further altered the material's molecular structure while enmeshing it with polyfibe to create a material that has an enhanced protection from blasters over the standard shell spider silk. However, as she combined the shell spider silk with the polyfibe during the process the material lost the slight probability to deflect blasters that normal shell spider silk had a likelihood of doing, and reduced the protection against kinetic weapons such as vibroblades that shell spider silk naturally had. Due to purposefully not altering its molecular structure in a way that would have introduced materials which would have further weighed the fabric down, the material has absolutely no resistance to lightsabers. It is slightly heavier than normal shell spider silk, but in a way that cotton might be compared to silk.

- Blast Webbing: Similarly to her earlier creation, Simmersilk, the Blastwebbing material was designed to give enhanced protection against blaster-based weaponry. Unlike simmersilk, however, rather than offering a chance of reflecting blaster bolts, Blastwebbing instead provides an enhanced protection against blasters. While the material is in no means impenetrable, it is deceivingly protective for a material that is essentially fabric.
- Blastwebbing provides incredible blaster protection, especially for a fabric material, granted through Braith's mastery of alchemy to further enhance the qualities of shell spider silk, albeit at the cost of it being unable to outright deflect blasters as shell spider silk had the potential of doing on occasion before.
- Despite being treated with alchemy, Braith only sought to enhance the blaster protecting properties of the shell spider silk and did not alter the molecular structure of the material to give it the properties that would have granted it lightsaber resistance, meaning the fabric is essentially as good as silk when placed up against a lightsaber. Simply put, there is absolutely zero protection from lightsabers.
- By the very nature of being a fabric, and a light one at that, Blastwebbing provides very little protection from kinetic weapons, with slugthrowers easily tearing through the material and less high-powered sources of kinetic damage, such as a vibroweapon or a lanvarok, only being protected from when faced with glancing blows.
