Auction BlasTech Company Shares Auction

She looked at them a sighed, Okay I will let you have a create of Echani Red wine, for the bid. Though I want you to make sure you get me some back, as it something you can't just buy. She did not want to give up her stock of wine, she rather kill [member="Danger Arceneau"] if was not going to be replaced. As she was not even sure blast tech was worth it, after they only sold weapons of war, this was wine and wine was better. She then looked at the two of them waited for them to promise to get her more wine regularly, or else the deal was off. She did try to buy a case every year, she stole a serval creates while defending emperor teta system. She was not going to offer them lot, as blast tech was not worth that much to her. Also the idea of buying a minority share was just a last resort idea.

I have been monitoring this whole situation. Let's be honest here. A time to mine some Beskar on the unspecified location, a Planetary Shield, and some credits, vs what is being offered...

Well, it is quite the stretch to foresee a victory. To up the ante, I will throw in access to every future weapon, biot, ship, or anything else made by my company and its subsidiaries, at a discount of a minimum 30%. Upwards to 55%. A custom ordered fire arm line, mass produced, with modifications that meet specifications, all for the sole affiliate of the seller to decide.

In the long run, for my contribution, I expect a large compensation.

Vaildra sat with his fingers intertwined and place under his masked chin. His unrelenting stare at his monters was that of a Black King contemplating his move. It seemed he underestimated his opponent, something he rarely was caught of doing. The move was set, an added 500 mil and access to an energy source. He knew of this energy source, simply because he knew the company ran by his rival, [member="Taeli Raaf"]. This was no more than a simple auction for a company, this was a battle to Vaildra, the White King had now entered the game. He saw the message sent to him by a source unnamed, but clearly he knew the sender.

He needed to analyze the situation, "Holonet, [member="Danger Arceneau"]" The HUD in his helmet had access to the Holonet which in turn he could search public records for people. It would be too in depth, but enough to form a plan. "Holonet, send information to monitors." All the information he had gathered was sent to the monitors before him to study. She had a history of being wealthy and pursuing money more than anything and an apparent interest in new techs or prototypes. Taeli had him on the new tech. Though the shield was 800 years old, that in his mind only enhanced the value, people loved vintage. One thing he knew was if the market value had dropped it would still be worth several billions. She could easily buy the things being offered by the other bidder and still be rich.

He calculted this, his information could be old, she may not be the same person. Though, very rarely did someone change their deep desires. He would not underestimate the situation this time, he would up his bid.

New offer:

Darth Vaildra:
800 Million Galactic Credits
5 crates of Nova Crystals
An order of Beskar taken from a mine long since abandoned by the Mandalorians. The delivery will be confidential and clean on your side.

Vaildra looked at his new offer, now he was feeling it, but he had a few more aces up his sleeve if the intensity went up. In other words, Check.

Wine? Really? Of all the things someone could offer why wine? Ke'Cholo didn't care how good it was, it wasn't worth an entire company. However, to match the offer Ke'Cholo would offer [member="Danger Arceneau"] and her husband [member="Alric Kuhn"] 12 premium cigars or 12 bottles of bourbon. Before he posted his final bid he sent a message to his two sponsors.

Auction ends soon. Anything else you two would like to contribute to my final offer? Anything helps.

Seeing no other additional funds or services from his sponsors, Ke'Cholo would post his final bid to [member="Danger Arceneau"]'s page.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ke'Cholo's bid
200 million credits, or the equivalent in jobs, OR, 220 million towards the advancement of the wildlife preserve and/or a charity of Danger's choice.
5 jobs of protecting, escorting, or hauling goods with Ke'Cholo's personal fleet or the credit equivalent thereof.
10 custom weapons from Ke'Cholo's personal weapon smith, Zobacca or a design/prototype to be mass-produced.
Lifetime supply, of free Blas-Tech products (within reason) should his bid win.
12 premium cigars and 12 bottles of premium bourbon.

Miss Blonde's Addition
1 Job from the Black Ties to steal anything Danger desired.
2,000 pounds of phrik ore

Taeil Raaf's Addition
All access to Sianium, for all future projects.
500 million credits

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ke'Cholo yawned as he reclined in his leather chair. He twirled his stylus and whistled a tune as he stared at his assistant Qaeth Idos.

''You staying up tonight, Q?'' Ke'Cholo inquired of the Mon Calamari

''I suppose so, to manage the auction and such.''

''What's there to manage?''

''Well, suppose Miss Blonde or Taeli Raaf sends a message to me, I'll update out bid.''

''Hmp, well I'm going to smoke a cigar, might even have some bourbon. Join me if you will, but I'm going to sleep, soon.'' Ke'Cholo would then slid his feet off his desk and get up. He walked out of the office towards his room, but turned around and asked 'Q' one final question.

''Q...how good a chance do we have at winning this thing?''

''Well, sir.'' Qaeth began, but paused between statements ''I suppose we have just a good a chance as anyone.''

''What are we going to do, if we don't win this?''

''Then we will continue and act as it never happened.''

''Hmm, wake me up if we win. If not, put a 10 million credit bounty on whoever outbid us.'' And with that, Ke'Cholo went off to his room, smoked a cigar and tasted some bourbon before heading off the sleep. Whether or not he woke up tomorrow as the Chairman of Blas-tech was unknown to him. But, he sure as kark wanted it.

OOC NOTE: Should Blonde or Taeli add anything, assume it added to my bid. Consider this my final bid.

Matreya watched as yet another bid was made. This man was damned intent! But Matreya was as well. His writer knew deep down that the character would want his company's ancient competitor under a lock that he could observe.

Hey, your sponsor once more. The last I can in sound mind offer is a raise to my offer of custom item.

Hope it helps. Honestly can't do more, despite our mutual acquaintance.

Darth Vaildra took off his mask to get a clear look even though he saw through his mask as if it wasn't there. Did he? Cigars and bourbon? Vaildra let out a hearty laugh, this was ridiculous, "Sabine, he justed offered cigars and bourbon in response to your wine. This guy is desperate." Another message came in which Vaildra's laugh died to a quizzical look, " More? Is that really needed? The other bidder hasn't even topped what the shield is worth and we are bidding more." He decide what the hell, he was enjoying this too much to care.

Tapping her fingers on her desk, she watched the bid change from the Sith Empire. Judging by the offers, it would seem Merr-Sonn was their backer. It would make sense after all. Get an ally to control your biggest competitor in the galaxy, and then you can influence that rival to become secondary to you by asking for favors from your allies to slow development of a product, shift the company into a supporting role, etc.. Clever, really, she had to admit that. However, she was more interested in countering the actual Sith doing the bidding.

The message from [member="KeCholo"] asking if she wanted to add anything else to his bid popped up, and she started to debate what might be most useful to [member="Danger Arceneau"]. Adding more credits would be unncessary, the Queen of Trade had enough money to buy entire star systems if she ever wanted to. No, she was content with the 500 million she added previously. That left technology and services, and while access to Sianium would be to Danger's advantage, in Taeli's opinion of course, she would sweeten the pot a little bit.

Pulling up an addendum to her support, she would add one Harbinger War Droid, reprogrammed to provide bodyguard duties for the being Danger or [member="Alric Kuhn"] would designate, and one Crucible-class Orbital Repair and Construction yard for Danger's subsidiary Haven Shipyards to have for whatever operation or planet they wanted.

Darth Vaildra just watched, like a predator watching his prey with a calculated measure. All was lost when [member="Taeli Raaf"] made her final bid. His fist connected with one of his monitors sending in to the ground in an unfunctional mess. His blood was on fire with anger, but he had to real himself in. It was a good move, a little too good. She had no interest in the company, this was apparent, she was after Vaildra.

He sat and thought for many moments contemplating his recourse. He fold his hands in front of his unmasked face, "Clever Jedi, but you are no longer dealing with a child. I will play your game." He used his last monitor to pull up his message system.

Subject: Post Bid Offer

Let us not play int he shadows. You aware a smart business woman and know my intentions. Regardless the outcome, the Sith Empire will find other means to take this Galaxy. This does not mean this venture cannot benefit you. We will claim many planets, but if you accept our bid for the company BlasTech we will make a pact. You pick one planet you want and in our campaign we will take that planet however you desire and then give it to you for your own use. In short, for your company we offer the promise of more land then one person should ever own, a planet. Furthermore, we will not over see or interfere with this planet. This planet will be under our protection from outside sources.

Sighed,

Vaildra, Right Hand of the Empire

OOCly

So, the auction ended, and after reviewing all bidders... found out that they are disqualified because they already own other companies with other chars. (A search through Approved Companies verified this)

The reason I placed this stipulation is because I would prefer to hand the company over to someone who will actually do something with the company. Far too many just sit idle in Approved Companies, and it was better for someone to have it that will put their sole focus on it.

Sad to say, I knew that I was fishing for a very niche group. But that is how it is!

SO... after speaking with [member="Alric Kuhn"] we'll be continuing the auction at a later date and see what we can do to make this available to writers new to the company game.

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

I don't own a company o_O. I mean I guess you could say I did at one time with Lanax Grayson called Grayson Industries, but that character no longer exists, Jonathan replaced him. So I have no claim over that company and that was a year or so ago. So ya, I have no company I am in control of.

I figured that rule meant you can't own a company currently, which currently I don't. Grayson industries was an idea I had over a year ago that never took flight because another droid company kept saying they had claim on everything so I had to get rid of the idea. The company did nothing and it isn't owned by me or exist anymore

The auction neared to a close, and in that the Queen of Trade went on to review the current bids. Prior to it, a transmission had been sent to her. It took some time to read the contents, having to review the bids in question.

Both brows rose slightly, and she panned a curious look over to her husband, [member="Alric Kuhn"].

"Have you heard of this Sith Empire?" she asked him. Truth be told, there were so many small niches and fractions off of the One Sith, that it was hard to keep up on who was involved with whom. There were those in the One Sith she kept in contact: Darth Carach and Darth Vornskr were a few. There were also those in the First Order, like Darth Metus. As of yet, she had not heard any word on a Darth Vaildra, but with as many Sith and personal agenda's there were in the galaxy, this was to be a given.

"Or Darth Vaildra?" her husband had spent time in the bosom of the Sith's court. He had dealt business with them when he was the name of Titan Industries. Seeking his counsel on this matter was wise.

The promise of land was not viable, for a business woman much like herself, there wasn't really any reputation or weight that came behind it. Who would be able to vouch for such an offer?

Her fingers tapped upon the table.

Then there was the other bid. What struck her odd was the mention of the Wildlife preserve. They had yet to even disclose that. Perhaps one of the Universities had slipped up. The verification of credits Raaf's addition really struck her as a curious thing. I will have to contact her....

Just then, the sound of a child’s piercing painful cry came from the other room.

“Myra?!”

The following message would be displayed just prior to the completion of the auction.

[ Due to unforeseen personal events, this auction has been postponed. Mrs. Arceneau would like to apologize for the inconvenience, and would like to thank you for your time.

This auction will resume at a later date.]
