Danger's and [member="Alric Kuhn"] 's personal office.

Danger reviewed the final notice.

This was a long time coming. A tap of her fingers lightly ran across the dark wood of the desk. In front of her, there was a wide holo screen revealing the details of the upcoming reserve price auction. Crazy, how it had come to this. It had been so long...

It was much a part of Alric's and her history as it was the start of their story. It was the line of demarcation that brought them together.

It was BlasTech that had brought the young scoundrel CEO of Kuhn Consolidated into Danger's VIP foyer over twenty years ago. It was the desire for that company that had sparked their meeting, resulting in the subsequent fall of dominoes that led them to this day.

Would she have met the man otherwise? Would their meeting have been just as explosive? It was hard to say. What wasn't was that after all this time, she finally learned that there was a time to let things go.

So with a faint smile, there came the small click. That singular tap instantly sent the notice.

BlasTech Industries majority shares were now for sale.

Blas-Tech had never really mattered to him.

The company had never been more than an avenue for greater things, a proof of what he could do an introduction to the world of business at large. The ploy had been wildly successful, and the proof was in what had happened over the next few years, where they were now in fact. He still remembered the situation quite fondly, what had happened and how he had taken over the corporation. The Titan hadn't done it in a wholesome way, but he had been crafty.

A small smile pulled at his lips as he stepped into the office.

"I don't know what we're going to do with all of this money." Alric said as he wandered over to Danger and behind her. "We're going to have to buy another bank."

He joked with her, though it was oddly true.

The two of them had enough money that most planetary governments couldn't compete. When they pooled their resources they could accomplish most anything, selling Blas-Tech now was rather amusing, though Alric often found himself wondering what would happen to all of their wealth when they were gone. "Or maybe just hide it under a mountain."

Ke'Cholo sat back in his chair as the auction for the majority of shares for BlasTech went live. He grinned at the proposition of owning part of one of the galaxy's largest companies.

''Q, I think it's time to cash in the rest of those servers. Approximately how many credits are left on them?''

''Give me just a moment, running a scan.''

''Alright, make it quick.''

''200,000,000 and some change.'' Qaeth responded after a moment.

''Transfer those funds to my account, I'm placing a bid of 200,000,000 on the shares.''

“And have you suffer from Duinuogwuin fever?” Danger would quip back, joking on the so called spacer myth that the space dragons would horde valuables and aurodium. At least, some of the less sapient species. The tall tales had yet to be verified.

Perhaps one day, a group of stout Ugnaughts will take it upon themselves to verify it.

Alric’s arms came to slip around her from behind. Her right hand rose, rubbing his cheek with the palm of her hand, feeling the soft brush of the bristles of his beard. There were more grey hairs now that scattered throughout it. The white that peppered his hair a little thicker at the temples.

“How goes the planning for the Wildlife Preserve?” She asked him, a half eye upon the bid that bloomed upon the holoscreen.

The wildlife preserve was their most recent project. Ten thousand meters of open space filled with all kinds of beasts. It was to be a new historic landmark, allowing for the sapients of the ‘Verse to enjoy and travel to. Cloning technologies were utilized through Rhytana and Vanir Technologies cloning division. PharmaTech was brought in to provide the necessary flora. It was all a great undertaking that both the former Titan and the Queen of Trade were looking forward to.

Darth Vaildra sat at his desk as he pondered the issue of raising an army in the Sith Empire's name. The problem was vast, but the main concern was ships. Building them and fitting them with the right weapons was costly. He personally was a very wealthy person. Mainly because he fought in so many wars and this brought in loot and salary. He had yet to actually buy anything as he usually acquired what he needed through more of a bartering means. This meant he had money to buy a company, so a few months ago he set his system to alert him if a company was selling anything of worth.

Months had passed and he saw nothing that peaked his interest, except today. The Blastech Company was selling 82 percent of it's shares. Vaildra leaned back in his chair as he looked at the notice. He had never owned a company and didn't really know the first thing about it, but he was second in command of the Sith Empire. He pressed a button on his comlink, "[member="Vengeance"], come to my office and bring our financial books...assuming we have them." He then paged Sabine to meet him in his office as well. He waited at his desk for the Knight to show up. In the meantime he accessed his own personal funds to see how much he personally had quite a lot seeing as he rarely touched it. He waited for his advisors Vengeance and [member="Sabine Kurtass"] to arrive.

@vengence @Danger Arceneau [member="Alric Kuhn"] [member="KeCholo"]

She arrived at [member="Darth Vaildra"] office, she was dressed on her light armour as she was not expecting trouble. She then asked him, Darth Vaildra you requested my presence, my ask why I had to postpone my trip to a spa with [member="Echo Kora"]. She was looking forward to having a gossip with her as well, so this better be important, or she may try and and become higher up in the ranks by defeating someone. She waited for him to reply, and saw on his screen something about blast tech.

Ke'Cholo quickly tapped his stylus against the table he was sitting at. He looked at the auction board, vacant as an unpopular Tatooine bar. He knew that somewhere, someone else must be interested. He wasn't the richest man around, but he wasn't the poorest. He did, however, need someone else to back him. So he decided to call the richest person he knew, [member="Miss Blonde"].

''Q, send a video call to Blondie.''

''Sure'' Qaeth Idos said, and in a moment he responded again with.

''Patching you through.''

In a moment or so, Ke'Cholo would have a secure line to Miss Blonde...one rich motherkarker. He spoke to the woman as he alternated watching the auction board and her projection.

''Blondie, Blas-tech is up for sale. I knew you wouldn't be interested since you've got your hands full with your own company. Can you....provide me with some funds in exchange for a lifetime supply of Blas-tech goods? I'm sure the Black Ties would love it.''

Vengeance received the message from Vaildra and shook his head. Gathering up a quick folder he made his way to where the Sith Lord was. As soon as he stepped in he spoke.

"Vaildra do you know something I don't?"

He only briefly glanced at the new face of [member="Sabine Kurtass"] in the room before placing the folder in front of him.

"We have no financial books..............we have no finances." "No collective assets I am aware of." "I have a small fortune built up......................"

He motioned towards the folder.

"............however it is in the low millions and I doubt would be enough to cover any major expenses." "You were probably better off hitting up Pikiran for a loan than me." "Most of my assets were frozen when I left the One Sith." "The hazards of a clean getaway."

[member="KeCholo"] [member="Danger Arceneau"] [member="Alric Kuhn"]

Darth Vaildra waited for his people to arrive. He was looking at his computers figuring up his own finances when a message came through which brought a smile to his hidden face. He watched as [member="Sabine Kurtass"] entered, "Spa? What are we, a resort? No matter, BlasTech, I am sure you have heard of it. It is on the market, 82 percent shares. We must have it. You are here because you know more of these things then I." Then [member="Vengeance"] entered, Vaildra could not fight the laugh he had to hold back, but it was light, "My boy, I do not need your money. You are in charge of the education, I assumed you would know more about our financial state then I. No matter, we have a sponsor."

He then sent the data to the terminal in the middle of the room bringing up a holocron. He stood and walked over to it. "[member="Matreya"], a friend of our Emperor heard of our need and has offered us a Merr-Sonn Planetary Shield and a few million credits. I personally have shy of a billion from my life. It pays to never spend your money. Last I checked this Planetary Shield went for around 10 billion, but I doubt it is still that. Regardless it alone would be more than anything the others could come up with and I am willing to pour my own money into this."

He walked back to his table and made an offer of a Merr-Sonn Planetary Shield in the name of the Sith Empire. He personally would not be the chair, but the chairman they picked would represent the Sith Empire so why not just list it as that? He sent it as a bid and watched, "I figured you two would want to be involved in this, if you have other things you rather be doing then you may." Darth Vaildra was in an unusually good mood today.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Miss Blonde looked over at her long range communicator that was going off and quickly answered it to receive KeCholo's call. So Blastech was up for sale? That was nice, and it seemed someone was looking to bid a ten billion credit planetary shield, that was groovy. Once upon a time Miss Blonde could of waved her hand and destroyed that bid but with recent events her funds were now limited to the hundreds of millions, which was nothing to laugh at but not enough to rival that.

"I'll throw in future two shipments of phrik ore, each at about a thousand pounds. I'll also throw in a job for the Black Ties to heist any object of their choosing. Other than that I'm afraid I don't own anything that's worth billions I'm afraid."

[member="KeCholo"]

Ke'Cholo initially frowned when he saw the new bid, but quickly realized something. What would any one other than a major government want with a planetary shield? Aside from it being impractical, it was probably expensive to maintain and would cause backlash from the Senate or governing body of the planet. Ke'Cholo thanked [member="Miss Blonde"] for her contribution and updated his bid.

200 million credits
2,000 pounds of phrik ore
1 job from the Black Ties to steal anything [member="Danger Arceneau"] desired.
5 jobs of protecting, escorting, or hauling goods with Ke'Cholo's personal fleet.
1 custom weapon from Ke'Cholo's personal weapon smith, Zobacca.
Lifetime supply, of free Blas-Tech products should his bid win. (within reason)

Vengeance chuckled.

"You are right I do which is why I am telling you we have no collective assets."

He paused at the mention of a sponsor and took a step back with a nod.

"A sponsor could work........I will just be over here observing."

He glanced again over at [member="Sabine Kurtass"] before watching [member="Darth Vaildra"] work. He did have a mountain of stuff to work on but it could wait a few more minutes. Especially if what Vaildra is working on actually produces a revenue stream to need such books to keep track of.

[member="Danger Arceneau"] [member="Alric Kuhn"] [member="KeCholo"]

She watched [member="Darth Vaildra"] and [member="Vengeance"] talk, then she added I could add a few ten million to pot, but I doubt that would make difference. Though we could rob our rivals for the bid, or just kill them if we know who they are. Also if that fails we could resort to asking [member="Danger Arceneau"] to let us buy a minor share, then we still have access to the merchandise. As we do need some of that gear they make, and this would enable us to start to equip our armed forces. She then stood by and waited, did they want her to kill anyone else who bidded on the Blast Tech, or just rob them. Then again they could just dismiss her, she get on with her spa day. As killing people and learning shock boxing, did go hard one the hands. She broke a couple nails last time she was in duel, so she was looking forward to a manicure, she was going have a pedicure as well.

@KeCholo @Miss Blonde

Vaildra looked over to [member="Vengeance"] and spoke, "The profits from BlasTech would help fund our campaign. Things would only improve." Vaildra watched the bid and saw the other bidder who added more. Vaildra chuckled, whether they kept the shield or not the amount of money that they would get from it would be double all they were offering. For the fun of it Vaildra pulled up the offer section and added to his bid. They were offering Phrik Ore which was pretty easy to get ahold of, but Vaildra had access to a rare material, Beskar. He added they would mine Beskar from their minds that few knew about and free that. Once sent , Vaildra sat back and smiled, "I do so enjoy causing dispair. The other bidder does not have the pull to surpass our bid. The shield alone could do it, but Beskar is always a good cherry."

He faced [member="Sabine Kurtass"] and spike very plainly, "You think too small. Why would we want only a piece of the pie when we could have the whole thing? The other bidder is offering everything they can and we are merely adding a fraction. The sponsor alone owns Merr-Sonn, that alone opens us to possiblities that could make the seller rich beyond belief." He paused, why were they trying to buy BlasTech if they had such pull? The answer was simple, revenue and factories to produce what they needed.

Taeli had been keeping an eye on the auction, and while she wasn't particularly interested in controlling BlasTech as she was perfectly happy with her own company, she did have some motive to get involved. There was a bid offering an 800 year old plus planetary shield system with some credits, with the signatory being some sort of new Sith Empire. Okay then, and then the other bid was from a relatively unknown Duro with backing from a beneficiary she guessed.

Well, seemed he might need some help.

Opening a message to [member="KeCholo"], she sent a brief missive if he might be interested in her support.

Sir, I couldn't help but notice you were engaged in a rather tough bidding war with a party calling itself the Sith Empire. I would be willing to support your bid, but I would like a cut of the shares of BlasTech. Nothing that would cut into your majority, but enough to get some of the profit. If interested, let me know.

For OOC purposes: [member="Danger Arceneau"] [member="Alric Kuhn"] [member="Miss Blonde"] [member="Darth Vaildra"]

Ke'Cholo grinned widely as he got another message from a potential donator. He quickly tapped on his datapad a response to the woman.

//To User: [member="Taeli Raaf"]//
//From User: Ke'Cholo//

I would be most pleased to have your backing, how much would you like to contribute and how much percent would you like? I would prefer services as Mrs. [member="Danger Arceneau"] appears to have more interest in them than credits. However, any donation is welcome.

-K

Smiling slightly, as she knew exactly what Danger's current obsession was. Being green was the name of her game right now, and it just so happened her company had developed something that might just help with that goal. Pulling up another message file, she replied to his response.

Sir, as the owner of Aurora Industries, we dabble in pushing technology to new frontiers, and we just so happened to develop something that might be useful. You may update your bid for BlasTech by informing Miss Arceneau that any project she wishes to do has unfettered access to an energy material known as Sianium. I won't go into specifics, but she will know what sort of effects the material has when it comes to producing massive amounts of energy far more efficiently than anything else currently on the market. I will also throw into some 500,000,000 credits to also boost that side of your bid. How much of the shares I want will be discussed later on if your bid is successful.

Sending the message, she noticed the Sith Empire bid had somehow added access to beskar to their bid. Those better be some very well concealed mines as she knew Mandos did not appreciate anyone using beskar without their approval. Usually the offender ended up in a poor condition, but that was what history said.

[member="Danger Arceneau"] [member="Alric Kuhn"] [member="Darth Vaildra"]

Vengeance nodded with a smile

"Oh I don't doubt the logic behind the move." "Force knows I have an Academy to build, resources to acquire, and we have an army to outfit."

He chuckled.

"So do I but I prefer to cause despair in person so I can see the look in their eyes when the realization of defeat hits."

He glanced over at [member="Sabine Kurtass"] with a smile.

"Vaildra's rigth........if we garner only a small percentage we risk losing the end game if the rest of the share holders band together and outbid all of our projects." "Then we end up with worthless shares worth only credits and that depends on the stability of the market in maintaining any value." "With majority ownership it wouldn't matter how the other parties vote."

He paused giving her a wink.

"I do like how you think though."

[member="Danger Arceneau"] [member="Alric Kuhn"] [member="KeCholo"]

This [member="Taeli Raaf"] figure was mighty generous, Ke'Cholo was suspicious when the figure didn't name an amount of shares, but he proceeded with updating his bid. After a moment of adding together all the resources he had, he posed he updated bid to [member="Danger Arceneau"]'s auction page.

Ke'Cholo's bid
200 million credits
5 jobs of protecting, escorting, or hauling goods with Ke'Cholo's personal fleet or the credit equivalent thereof.
1 custom weapon from Ke'Cholo's personal weapon smith, Zobacca.
Lifetime supply, of free Blas-Tech products (within reason) should his bid win.

[member="Miss Blonde"]'s Addition
1 Job from the Black Ties to steal anything Danger desired.
2,000 pounds of phrik ore

Taeil Raaf's Addition
All access to Sianium, for all future projects.
500 million credits

Ke'Cholo then looked over the opponents bid...an 800 year old shield and some material that would land the owner under deep Mandolorian persecution. But, then again..the choice was hers. Danger had two very different bids, and a choice that was arriving soon.
