Valery grinned at her husband and poked his side to tease him, but she did agree. They were kids, meaning they'd sometimes mess up or do something they weren't supposed to. Getting angry over it was possible, and she would have if this were serious, but Valery had to fight pretty hard not to just laugh. Leave it to Vera to come up with an idea like this, and seeing Aris go along with it was a welcomed thing too.

She knew it was important to Kahlil, who wanted their son to have a great childhood.

"Okay daddy..." Vera said before she turned to Aris. "I'm sorry for blaming you, but I had fun!" she giggled and ran over to high him to try and make up for it. Valery's smirk widened so much because of it that she raised a hand in front of her mouth.

Couldn't encourage them too much.

"Daddy? When we finish cleaning, can we have ice cream? It's hot outside," she said before looking up at the extremely sunny sky for a moment. Valery smiled at that and reached for Kahlil's hand to squeeze it.

"They have been pretty good during our adventures..." she said while she leaned into him.

Ice cream? So soon after getting in trouble? Kahlil let out a heavy sigh as he glanced to Valery. He half expected her to at least remind them that they were the two in trouble. Instead, he just squeezed his hand back. Of all the trouble they could've been getting into, this was pretty tame, yeah.

"Only when you're done. I see a lot of small pieces, and I expect you not to miss a single one. Understood?"

Aris nodded once, straightening out just a little before looking around at the floor. The beans were probably going to be the worst part, but he wasn't against cleaning. He smiled, just a little, before looking back to Vera. Gave an even brighter smile at that.

"I had fun too. Let's clean up."
