When Aiden ordered that the Jedi move away from the situation and allow Vizion Trozky Vizion Trozky to handle the situation with the king, Lily sighed as she did not agree that they should be allowing the king or his soldiers to treat the Jedi with this disrespect without consequence. Then the soldier beside the king attempted to make a joke about short supply of Jedi. Which Lily found dumbfounding since she would have thought that someone who fought in battles, risking their lives for civilians would hold respect for others who do the exact same thing. But she held her tongue and looked to Aiden, showing the annoyance in her eyes.

While she was taking the steps back from the void, the king approached it and there was then a burst of light with a horrendous high pitch noise. It was disorientating and too sudden in the intensity. Lily could feel herself getting overwhelmed and suffering a sensory overload from the bright light as well as the noise hitting her senses. Once it was gone, it took Lily a few moments to absorb the situation. Attempting to find the composure in herself as everything had been so much and now it was suddenly just gone.

Focusing on her breathing, Lily kept a slow and steady pace, making sure to swallow the nausea that she could feel. Looking over to seeing Lorn and Bastila unconscious on the ground, Lily gathered herself to rise to her feet. Looking over to Aiden, "I will get Corazona, I saw where she went with the civilian. Lorn and Bastila will need medical attention right away." Lily moved back to where she spotted where Corazona and Rayne Lo'to Rayne Lo'to were. Stumbling slightly as she could still feel the aftereffects of the sensory overload.

"Cora! Cora, they...... they need you at the void site.... It vanished and...and Lorn and Bastila were found unconscious. They are going to need medical attention." Lily called out as she headed to the medical tent, hoping to find the healer swiftly so that the pair could get the care that they needed.

"Kudau, what is going on out there?"

Kudau felt the force thinning around him, putting him on edge again. This moment was getting more and more stressful with each development, and it was difficult to keep a steady head. He knew he didn't need to describe the feeling that every Jedi around him felt, too, so he focused simply on what Corazona couldn't see. Just as he went to describe what he saw...

"Cora! Cora, they...... they need you at the void site.... It vanished and...and Lorn and Bastila were found unconscious. They are going to need medical attention."

The young knight did the explaining for him. Thinking of Corazona's "passengers", Kudau walked quickly out of the tent to meet Lily Decoria Lily Decoria . "Corazona is in the medical tent, but it might be faster to bring the two here. Do you think the two can handle being carried?"

In his mind, Bastila's name rang a bell, but he needed to be sure that he was thinking of the right person before allowing any emotion to affect him. He knew that right now, he needed to be alert, cautious, and trusting of the people around him.

"Uh, Director...?"

Dominique looked up from the display at the mixture of confusion and worry. Someone that didn't know whether to make mention of something or mind their own business, and worried of the consequences if they chose poorly. Hardly an unfamiliar tone among Corpos -- namely, their assistants, adjuncts, and aides. Her golden rings followed their gaze out toward the void. Surely it hadn't silently morphed...

And no, it had not. Instead one Chancellor of the Republic stood on the edge of the void. What were his personal guards for? Decoration? Before she could have someone go fetch the man before he personally thought to venture into the unknown to get away from his political charge, a sharp whine caused her to wince.

Thankfully, it did not last. Neither did the void.

Her teeth clicked shut as Aurelian ran into the field like a foolhardy guard finding an unconscious form in an alleyway. As someone from Denon knew you never trusted a lack of visual indication of danger as an affirmation of safety. Just because the void could not be seen did not mean it was gone, or hadn't left something behind. He could have at least given them all a single minute to scan the area. It wasn't as though the two people laying in the field would be any worse for wear for a single minute more.

If anything that minute might allow them to show signs of anything... unnatural having seeped into them.

A sharp gesture commanded the researchers to set to their task. Just because Aurelian wanted to do everything didn't mean they'd all been given the rest of the day off. And, frankly, she didn't want to wade out there assuming it was safe, but that man needed someone to follow him before he did anything else absurd.

Like pick up a strange object.

Dominique skipped a step when her own outfit flickered. More noticeable was the way her lilac glareshades didn't respond to optical gestures to diagnose what had just happened. She turned to regard all those that stood stupefied with devices in their hands or under their control.

"Is there anything else you would care to do while you single handedly resolve and create more work for us, Chancellor?" Dominique asked as she strode out to meet him at last. "Could I invite you not to take that... orb any where near anything that moves or flies before we know what it does?" Hopefully it didn't ruin anything permanently or the Republic was going to have several companies seeking compensation. Not to mention Dominique's own customized equipment. "Perhaps you should keep it away from the medical tents as well." Assuming the radius of its effect hadn't extended that far already.

"Welcome back. You've a mild concussion, but no bleeding. Does anything hurt?"
"Hello. I am Tatiana. Can I be of service?" Her blue eyes fell to the wrong device and then rose again. "I felt a disturbance when you fell. There was something familiar to it."

Oh. This wasn't very good at all. She wasn't really in a position to freely speak her mind. Did any of these people know any hand signs? She wasn't really sure. Rayne had to make her gestures as clear as possible. In a manner that would seem a bit childish, as though playing a game of charades, Rayne opened her mouth and pretended to speak, no noise coming out. She then pointed at her mouth, as though to emphasize that she was, in fact, not speaking. She even shook her head for extra emphasis. Of course, she was bright red the whole time. It was rather embarrassing.

The blonde first one was called off by another, following a very fit white haired woman and a wolf-like man, leaving her with the woman who had said she felt some sort of familiar disturbance. Rayne had a special connection with technology. Had something occurred when she was knocked out? She didn't know the truth for herself quite yet.

But, she did have to trust that this stranger could help her. With a sheepish, bashful expression, Rayne leaned forward so that she could place the damaged vocoder in the hands of the knight. It would be very clear at a glance that it was a droid component for synthesizing speech, which she hoped would make it clear to them that it was what she required to answer all of the questions she had been asked. Rayne had her own questions to ask as well.

Nobody could just attack her without repercussion, right?

Tatiana watched the Twi'lek woman as she made gestures in an effort to communicate. The Knight that'd come to her bedside remained crouched and remain silent as Rayne struggled to communicate. Once her motions settled, the blonde nodded.

Cora asked a brief question, which prompted Tatiana to look up at the woman. "An electromagnetic disturbance localized and centered around this woman." Afterwhich, her attention turned back to Rayne to add, "May I?" with a gesture to the damaged device.

The scattered components rested atop her left palm while Tatiana hovered the right above them. "Are you aware of any kind of connection with... electrical components?" Slowly a field of pin-prick lights slowly flared into and out of being between her palms. "Frequencies normally outside your species' audible range?" Lights began to appear in greater number until they began to run together. Translucent rays flowed between Tatiana's palms. They washed over the components, and soon enough what was broken began to move seemingly of its own accord. "Devices that respond to your desire instead of your touch?" Initially the progress was slow, but it sped up rapidly until everything simply snapped back together as it had been before her fall. Well, better, in truth, but it wouldn't be noticeable at a mere glance.

Reassembled,Tatiana extended the vocoder out for Rayne.

It was about that time that Lily burst into the tent. Kudau was inclined for them to bring the wounded to Cora rather than the other way around. Matters well in their hands, which left Tatiana to smile for Rayne's benefit.

Then Aurelian picked up an orb.

Tatiana's smile dropped and her blue eyes became unfocused and drawn to the side. Only a second later they turned back toward Rayne. "Did you feel that as well? Where the void was?" Rayne's had been a disturbance, but what Tatiana felt now was disturbing. Actively. Something was wrong outside. Not in the traditional sense -- no one was screaming and shouting -- but that didn't mean everything was in good order either.
