SPECIAL FEATURES

Organic Blaster Rifle firing unique Particle Bolts that react violently to Draelvasir Tissues, their most basic metals, as well as nearly anything that runs on Draelvasir Technology.

It is especially good at breaking down the shields generated by Protectors, with kinetic force added on a secondary setting

Easy to learn

Easy to repair

Capable of functioning in nearly all weather environments

Can be grown from a single seed and an application of gamma rays or a liter of water in an emergency.

Great Accuracy

Energy cannot be drained by Syphons

Ignores all form of EMP suppression

Secretes an enzyme on its surface that is extremely poisonous to Draelvasir biology and acidic to their basic metals

STRENGTHS

Civilian AND Military: Meant to be an easy to learn and use weapon against the Bryn'adul for Military and Civilians. Its pretty much so that even an absolute fool could figure out how it works and develop decent proficiency with it in a matter of hours.

Growing on trees: The Life Cycle of the rifle starts out as a seed, grown on a genetically modified plant normally used to produce Lambent crystals. These seeds can store in a cool, dry place for many years until needed, and grow rapidly in minutes when exposed to the necessary catalysts, like gamma rays or water

Pain-giver: The energy generated inside the living rifle is tuned to break down Draelvasir tissues to devastating effect, which are typically resistant to energy weapons, even disruptors, and capable of causing immense physical injury and possibly even nerve damage that's at risk of becoming degenerative if not immediately treated in the first few hours to the most commonly encountered enemy units, such as Drones, Juggernauts, Swarms, Brutes, and Syphons. Because it is good at breaking down tissues, it borders on the use of a Disruptor, the only things that prevented it from being legally classified as a Disruptor was the fact it cannot ignore shielding completely and cannot instantly disintegrate metals nor cause immediately fatal injuries unless vital organs are destroyed or a clean headshot is achieved. It is also capable of severely damaging Draelvasir Technology in a few shots.

Piercer: It is also capable of severely damaging and piercing Drael metals such Verikast and Malabast.

Easy fixit: All one need do is shine a gamma ray lamp to immediately repair any injuries it suffers in a matter of minutes, as well a simply keeping it healthy by shining a gamma laser a few minutes every day. Failing that, one can simply leave it out resting in the sunlight to make repairs, though this will take longer by about a half hour, and obviously cannot be done in combat

EMP: Due to an entirely biological nature, EMP weapons have no effect.

Durability and reliability: Will fire well into next week reliably, can operate in nearly all weather environments with ease, and its fire and recharge rate is always spot on as long as it suffers no significant damage such as overwhelming kinetic force. But it is generally difficult to damage to begin with.

Anti-Drain: Genetically engineered membranes prevent its energy being Stolen by Syphons

Can't touch this: Upon sensing Drael genetic material touching it, or Drael Metals, it secrets a deadly enzyme that is highly acidic to Drael Tissue and deadly poisonous to their nervous system, as well as capable of quickly eating through Drael Metals

Accurate: Accurate and generally hits the area its pointed at, even at max range

Recharger: An internal Organic power pack constantly recharges after ammo has been expended, ensuring that it will never run out of ammo as long as it is maintained.

Secondary setting: Its secondary setting enables it to punch through the shield generated by Protector orbs in a few shots though most damage done to living beings will be primarily of a kinetic nature on that setting,

Recoil: Very manageable

WEAKNESSES

Range: It's damage output decreases past its range limit drastically by three ratings

Recharge time: Though it's quick to recharge after only a few shots fired, if ammo is completely expended during an extended firefight, it takes 007 seconds to recharge to a full mag. It won't be able to fire during the 007 second recharge, but will vibrate in the user's hand when ready to fire

Ammo count: Only Twenty-007 shots

Fire rate: Locked at Semi-Automatic

Too Cold!: Cold environments are among the few weather conditions where it has trouble operating, needing nourishment from a Gamma laser every few hours or so to keep it working. Even during that point it will experience occasional misfires

Magnetics: Being hit with magnetic based weapons causes them to jam for a number of seconds, as well as its damage ratings and accuracy to get cut in half for a few minutes afterward

Acidic: Acids eat through its tissue very quickly unless a gamma laser is immediately applied

Special Treatment: Using water to grow a seed means you have to wait 21 minutes for it to grow to a mature rifle. Also using sunlight while remaining idle will heal and maintain it, but it will take about 42 minutes as opposed to the 007 minutes a Gamma Laser would give it in terms of nourishment. Without a small gamma laser its maintenance issue get much more intensive, with misfires occurring more and more every day it goes without a small laser feeding until it dies after 007 days.

Vanilla: Cannot be modified, as the technology it was reverse engineered from was not fully understood at the time of its designing

Large: Try not to use in tight corners unless its an emergency

Heavy: Its weight helps with recoil, but you could tire out lugging it around

Bonding: The living rifles bond to their owner after a while, and can sense the owners death if they have bonded long enough. Once this happens the creature will become depressed, its damage rating dropping by two and misfiring out of shock to its disrupted bond. This will continue until it slowly bonds with whoever new picked up, but will lose accuracy by half and misfire for a few days while it readjusts

DESCRIPTION

Many lessons were learned in the fall of Sarka. One was that unless the great powers drastically rethought their approach to fighting the Bryn'adul, crushing defeats like Nar Kreeta and Sarka would keep occuring.

Laertia Io understood this better than most. The directives she gave to the Stealth Knights of the Serpents of Ashla were to prowl the battlefield, hiding themselves with the Force as they gathered samples of tissue from individual enemy units, as well as metal samples from destroyed armor, and even weapons if at all possible. This order was extended to her Nuetralizers as well. Though many were killed or destroyed in their attempts, the directive was a relative success, significant samples were retrieved, not just in tissue samples, but in gathering samples of the embued rock the Drael use, as well as examining the wounds of people hit by their weapons.

Nine was given everything that was captured, and after weeks of research, she finally understood the biomass mechanisms in their weapons to reverse engineer its genetics, using altered, cloned samples of its tissue.

The first prototypes were tested until the energy produced was specifically tuned to destroy samples of Bryn'adul tissue, as well as their captured metal samples from surviving armor parts, as well as what samples of the Programming Rock used by the Bryn'adul that could be spared for destruction.

The Bio-Blaster Mark One is the result of desperate, tireless efforts to more efficiently kill Bryn'adul and damage their material. Intended as a mass, cheap option for civilians on worlds threatened with imminent invasion and annihilation, as well as military units forced to face the seemingly unstoppable Bryn'adul, Nine, rather than limit the weapon to just her faction, deliberately leaked its schematics to Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim , Natasi Fortan Natasi Fortan , Skajin var Imret Skajin var Imret , Adhira Chandra Adhira Chandra , and even Irveric Tavlar Irveric Tavlar to add to their military rosters and modify as they so desired with their own scientists. Because The Bryn'adul are that much of a threat and even a questionable edge is better than no edge.

Let it be known, bioweapons are awesome!

Firstly, you're a couple points out on balance if you would like to amend those, found here:

Secondly, if you could bring the language of your technical specifications in line with the template, that would be fantastic. For example; Low effective range would be 'personal.'

This doesn't seem right, it has 27 shots right?
Ammo count: Only Twenty-007 shots

Weaknesses: Some of your weaknesses come off as quite light having little or no meaningful impact in combat. I would like at least one additional weakness to that extent, though you can feel free to make some of the others more weighty.
