Public Big Money Heist

Eskk was in orbit aboard his Series Q Carrier above the planet Zakuul. On the way there he had stopped to pick up a mercenary named Pierce Pierce for the job at hand. Eskk wasnt really aware of what he was doing aboard the ship. He didnt really care either. All Eskk was thinking about was the planned mission.

"Deploy two squadrons of bombers. Have them hold in orbit and await further instructions. On second thought, deploy our full compliment with the same orders." Three squadrons of Eta Angel Interceptors and three squadrons of Tau Devastators spilled from the ship. They didnt travel far from Eskk's carrier before killing their engines and floating dead in orbit while they waited.

Finally the Series Q carrier was given permission to land at the spaceport. Eskk's crew brought the ship down and docked. Eskk pulled the target building up on his tactical display. A hologram representation of the Investment Bank of Vexillium hovered in the air above the data table.

Eskk had also sent the details of his ship's location to the datapads of his other two contacts, Sy' Lanat Sy' Lanat and Ladybug Ladybug . Eskk figured they would already be on planet or nearby. Now all he had to do was wait until they arrived and they could start the planning session.

Pierce laid silently back in one of the crisp leather seats surrounding a table inside of the carrier. He had his feet propped up and held in his hands a modified e-11d, an ancient but effective design that he personally enjoyed, it was overcharged with modern batteries, had a custom made scope, and was all plated in beskar accents to match the dark reflective finish of his armor.

Sitting there, polishing his rifle, Pierce mumbled to him self,
"Perfect," before gently tossing the cloth he was using onto the table. Slowly he brought his feet down to the floor and leaned forwards, grabbing the weapons power cell that sat on the table, quietly to himself saying, "here we go," as he slammed it into it's socket and the sound of energy surged through the weapon. He raised the rifle to his head and peaked down the sights, delicately changing a dial with his off hand before lightly nodding and placing it down on the table.

Pierce stood from his seat and stretched his arm momentarily, he looked down at his armor and smirked. It too was freshly polished, and he was ready to get it dirty. Pierce adjusted himself for another moment before reaching down for his rifle and grabbing it while using the opposite hand to pull the sling which strung around his cloak, moving and attaching it to the rifle. Once attached, Pierce turned towards one of the doors out of the room and made his way into the hall. He didn't know this vessel well, but he was confident he could find his way around, and after a short while of meandering through the corridors he found himself upon the room where Eskk Jannik stood.

As the door slid open, Pierce quickly scanned Eskk up and down before stepping into the room around the data table. He looked up at the hologram of the bank which lightly pulsed just above the table. "This the place we are hitting?"

Deep inside a cold and stank cellar, the Sith Lord sat squatting among the ruins of the dark basement as the last of the hired hands slowly passed away into nothingness. Removing her fingers from the pinched nose of a Bothan, she spoke with a coldness in her voice, "...And I thought you would be the last to foul out."

Two Days Prior

M
ikilanna had recently returned from a directive from the Empress herself, only to discover there was chatter engulfing yet another potential situation. Days before, several banks under the employ of the Eternal Empire had been targeted and struck across the face like a vicious backhand; only to discover nothing was taken. The attacks, if one simply stared down, was a pattern. A pattern that required her attention. Each hit was methodically constructed, except the last statement left a clue.

"F
ur," Miklanna said as she rubbed the substance between two finger. Drawing the fur to her nose, she sniffed and revolted back. "Bothan!"

Bothans were a dog-like species, sworn enemy to any righteous Felacat. The pure intake of their stench was a systematic assault upon any righteous Felacat's sense of smell. The stench forced her to quietly withdraw the potential claws from her hands that craved a rebellion.

"C
ameras," her voice spat, her eyes rotating and finding solace in the devices staged around the untouched vault. Within minutes of watching the video, a suspect had emerged. Cril Mto was a well known criminal operating in Eternal Empire space; a murderer and thief. Heavily wanted. Sadly for him, he made a fatal mistake working with one Sith Lord, Darth Kauhu, whom an agreement was settled upon. And most unfortunate for him, he broke that agreement.

Day Of...

Breaking down doors and trusts she built up, it was insecure of those being hunting they could escape her mean streak. A name she had, and with a name came the entire lot of associates. One by one she systematically hunted them down; sending each one into an entombed coffin of pain and misery. But it was the last she wanted. Holding him tight without love for his eternal suffering, she clipped his legs and arms with her heated blades; hovering two fingers over his nose.

"A name....and all this goes away."

Through moans of pain elevation, the burning effects of four lost appendages loosened the Bothan's tongue.

"...And I thought you would be the last to foul out."

Sy' had been on Zakuul for only about a week. It hadn't been a particularly productive period in his life. The mercenary had decided to lie low after some work lines in the Inner Rim. As part of his ongoing methodology to maintaining his security, the Chiss had decided to transfer some of his funds from a bank line off-world to a local one. Diversification had saved his backside many times in the past, but when he had been unable to get money transferred as needed, Sy' often relied on his ability to find work. Unfortunately, this time it appeared he had failed in both capacities. Both established were giving him trouble and holding off on the transfer, and finding work had been a rather difficult task. As such, Sy' had been forced to take up residence in a rather dreary slum. He was alone in his ramshackle room, considering how to proceed when the old holoterminal coughed to life. Maybe I should have shelled out for the better apartment.

It was only a few minutes before the terminal finished booting up and Sy' began reading. Unfortunately, the Chiss was slowed by the terminals seemingly random power failures. Every time, he had to reboot the machine before reading a little further. It was tedious, but he was patient and not had nothing better to do with his time. Towards the end of the message, as he began to realize the intent, Sy' skimmed over bits and pieces and soon finished. Bank heist eh? Never had one of those before. Not complaining though... Finally, something to do! Thought I might have to start in the serial killer industry.

His rifle disassembled in mere moments, the Chiss slid the parts into their case and lifted the heavy Bandfill he had found in the room when he arrived. He had decided to take it up, after the first few days without work, he had thought maybe he could take gigs playing. It had soon become apparent that one: the instrument was horribly out of tune, and two: the Chiss lacked an ear for music, and three: playing with a single arm was not how the instrument was designed. He still messed with it occasionally, and had even managed to get the first few notes from one of his favorite songs, but it was clear he would never get anywhere in the music business. Best to stick with guns and hunting. With the last credits in his pockets, and borrowing a not inconsiderable sum from a local loan shark, Sy' rented a small ship and quickly made his way to orbit.

He transmitted ahead to the carrier, "Greetings and all that. Got your message. Looking forward to running with you."

Two of his contacts had arrived. The other was either late or a no show. No matter, it was time to begin the planning session. "So as you may have surmised, this is the bank we're going to hit. It is the Investment Bank of Vexillium. You'll notice its rather large."

"The size of the building is relevant because of what it houses," Eskk continued. "They have a private security force consisting of both sentients and droids. In addition to this threat, the Zakuulian military is able to respond to any attempt on the bank within a few minutes. I have a contingency plan for the militaries arrival, but we'll still have to deal with the security forces. To be honest my plan was to use hostages to keep them at bay. Im not particularly concerned with any loss of life, as long as it's not our lives being lost."

"Finally, there is one other point I would like to make known. The bank doesn't carry physical currency. They deal primarily in digital currency. The plan is to secure ten million credits in one of their accounts, and then have it transferred to an account with another bank which we will then travel to and withdraw the funds."

"Does anybody have any ideas about how we should go about robbing the bank? I figured we'd just go in during peak hours with a frontal assault. However I am open to suggestions," Eskk finished.
