ARX OBSIDIAN

Naboo was a blessing in disguise.

In the wake of the Cataclysm, the Knights Obsidian had been a midst on the brink. The majority of their comrades had been met with an ill fate: either transfigured into beasts...or mauled by the very same. The tragedy had been one that saw many changes come to the knighthood, with the largest being the rise of a new Lord Commander. Yet, among the more minute changes had come a reliance upon Naboo. Arx Obsidian, the name given to the knighthood's regional headquarters, had quickly become the new bastion of the order. Previously, Roon had acted as the center of the Obsidian host. Yet, with its utter destruction, the order thankfully had a shining fallback.

Centered in a new region of Theed dubbed Golbah Hill, Arx Obsidian was a monumental structure. It featured traditional, Nabooian architecture - with pillars encircling its outermost walls. The facility was situated near the lakeside, with views of the water to the east. Thus, it was a tranquil locale for the Knighthood to regroup, study, and emerge anew. And today, an exceptional turn of events had seen quite a few of the survivors flock to their new home.

From across all corners of the southern systems, recovery efforts had been launched by the Knighthood. Whatever relics and knowledge that could be saved from the Cataclysm were rescued and ferried back to Naboo. And today, the Archives had been born anew. For the first time in months, there was a formal center of learning for the Knighthood. Rows upon rows of records, learning material, and much, much more. Moreover, there were even adjacent training rooms - so that intrepid learners could sample their newfound skill. And while the more powerful (or dangerous) relics were kept in a separate Vault, any member of the Knighthood could come to the Archives to enrich themselves.

With this new boon, the Knighthood was seemingly taking strides towards restoration. One day at a time.

Naboo did have beautiful architecture even if it was too warm, at least Valeria thought so but her opinions had always remained the same of the planet though at least it wasn’t the dust world of Genosis. As her shuttle landed she peered out the window at the Arx Obsidian, the formerly secondary turned primary HQ of the Knights Obsidian, and it was an impressive structure, the light radiating from it’s traditional Nabooian design and materials.

Valeria walked down the ramp off of her shuttle and began to walk up the steps to the building taking in the sites around her, the lake to the East was a spectacular view. It was a tranquil place, for Valeria it almost felt too tranquil. Valeria reached the top of the steps and entered the structure, the Archive had been born anew in the Arx Obsidian recently though that was not the purpose of her trip, indeed she had actually had no purpose in the trip at all. Valeria had previously been of the Acanthus chapter before she had exited to become the Viceroy of Nelvaan, however her term was up and she had installed a subordinate and she was now, thankfully, able to rejoin the order, she had chosen to return to the Order as a member of the Thorn chapter and as a Lord.

Valeria made her way to the Archive through the halls of the Arx Obsidian and as she entered it she noticed many Order members were gathered today. She didn’t recognize any of them but that was to be expected as while the Order was being eradicated on Roon she had been listening to the politicians drone on about various things. In any case, aside from meeting some of the members, there had been something that she wanted to investigate, Demons. She sat down with a record that was Ancient and began to read for clues.

Between Naboo's most recent coronation and the ever-present task of ensuring the Arx Obsidian was truly suited to be the headquarters of the Knights Obsidian, the amount of time Oleander was spending on the planet was quickly shifting higher up on the list of places he'd spent the most time on. Shadowed only by his homeworld, his imprisonment, and perhaps a handful of other systems, though those other systems' were more piecemeal circumstances than time spent in one sitting. A part of him could get used to it, to having an area to consistently call home. Another aspect of him grew restless, for there was a reason why his kind seldom stuck to one place once they left the homeworld.

Be it a bout of stir crazy or a wandering curiosity that'd yet to be sated, he found himself meandering to the Archives on a whim. While the Anzat was far from dumb, academic pursuits had never held his interest. He had a very...unique method for gathering information when needed. Secrets had a way of revealing themselves, it was only a matter of how much soup paved the way.

Yet that particular method was well suited for most of his informational needs, there was one set of information that eluded him. A very particular search, one that'd captured his interests since his awakening. With the short-lived nature of the majority of the waking galaxy, information from the time he went under was far from available via his usual means. And for those purposes, he looked toward the Archives. The in-between of his slumber and awakening was a mystery, one he was keen on solving.

NABOO

The Knight was an excellent tour guide.

For Abel, recent history had seen his life full of responsibilities. Today, the most prominent was his oath to oversee the education of his two charges. One was a noble Starweird, whose schedule was almost as dizzying as his own. The second was a Smuggler, who had all the time in the Galaxy. Though the pair were as different as night and day, Abel's students seemed to be getting along quite nicely. And, as it was the second time they had been on Naboo together, the Knight thought it was a perfect chance to introduce them to Arx Obsidian.

While the new headquarters of the Knighthood was his intended destination, the two under his care had other ideas. It was hard enough to say no to one, but to both? Impossible. Thus, since the early morning, Abel had played the part of tour guide throughout Golbah Hill. He treated both Fauvel and Luna to a light brunch along the waterside, before guiding them through the heart of the Confederacy. At least the venture was fruitful, in that they would now know where to find the most pivotal structures to the southern systems.

After quite some time roaming about, their heading was finally up the stairs of Arx Obsidian. And for this, Abel was uncharacteristically excited. It wasn't that the prospect of browsing through archives was particularly enjoyable. Rather, this would formalize his efforts to educate Fauvel and Luna respectively. He could cater his "lessons" to their needs, borrow materials, the whole nine. As his first charges, Abel wanted to make sure he did things right. Not for his own reputation, but because he earnesly cared about the two of them.

Upon entering the facility proper, Abel opened his arms wide. "And this is Arx Obsidian." he began, before guiding them towards the Archives. As they moved along, he prattled on a bit about what had led to its uplifting. Mainly the Cataclysm and the knighthood's response to it. When they finally reached the Archives proper, he turned to them, beaming. "The sky's the limit here. So let me ask - what sounds good to look into first? Weapon skills? Force powers? History?"

Okay, maybe he was a little too excited. But who could fault the guy?

Luna had to admit. The architecture was impressive. As she found herself being led by Abel along with Fauvel by her side, her gaze had gotten her caught up from time to time leaving her to quickly catch up with her long legs giving her an advantage. The smuggler was almost certain that she’d never fully get used to the opulence of the Planet; it hadn’t taken her long to realize that it wasn’t just a home or a building. It was a way of living here. Luna gave Fauvel a light nudge with her elbow, careful not to hurt the other woman as she did so. She kept her voice low, as not to disturb anyone around them as they walked. “Naboo's buildings are quite something.”

Looking ahead, as they walked close behind their teacher, Luna could tell by just the way he was walking that he more than likely was more excited than they. And in true Luna fashion, she couldn’t help but take a cheeky glance at his backside as they went with a much-satisfied grin. It was yet another thing she had to become accustomed to; Luna was used to living a rather free-spirited lifestyle; booze, pills, one-night stands alike. But here? She felt like some celibate being; to say she wasn’t having an inclination would be completely wrong. "And this is Arx Obsidian."

Looking around at the archives in front of them as Abel went on, she had to admire yet another thing Naboo seemed to have right. She’d never visited any such archives but the way it was all structured made her assume that this is what it should be. "The sky's the limit here. So let me ask - what sounds good to look into first? Weapon skills? Force powers? History?"

Able had offered up options to the pair as a starter. Luna knew almost immediately what she was interested in. History? Wasn’t really her thing. Weapon skills? She knew how to fight. At least in the sense of what she was used to. Out of all the scum-like things she had to endure growing up, Rast made sure she was well equipped and knew how to fight like a warrior. But Force powers- that had been something that had caught Luna’s ear. The young smuggler wanted to know all about the thing that had made her father so special. Despite the bitterness towards the man, he clearly had something she currently didn’t and wanted to learn. Looking over at the other woman next to her, Luna responded to Abel's question. “Force powers sound interesting.”

It was still strange sometimes, to wake up and realize that it was not her bed that she woke up in. Her room that housed her. Her home that sheltered her. So many things had changed in such a short amount of time, and there were mornings where she would wake disoriented and confused until she managed to place herself once more. Those mornings no longer devastate her, nor did they cripple her and make her useless for hours any longer. Clarity and realization would come, and the day would go on.

But this was why Kamille found herself within the confines of the archives more often than not. She wanted answers, though had yet to find anything even remotely close to the questions she asked in the first place. No, research for resolution had slowly but surely turned to curiosity, to need. The young woman had come to Naboo to put her hand into the Knight's Obsidian, and thus far she remained a Squire with no mentor - which was fine. Yet it was also why her curiosities had turned to information that was more befitting to her skillset. Or rather, what she was at least trying to build her skillset to.

There had been strange looks Kam had received when she first started seeking out information on the elements. She was a young woman after all, and such knowledge wasn't usually the forte of on her age. Despite that, she had taken what she could get, and poured over it time and again, hoping this would give way to the one thing she really both wanted and needed - control. If this place could teach her to control the things she could do, then perhaps she could really get started somewhere among the ranks.

Concentration however, was key, and the sound of other voices caught her attention instantly. Kamille raised a hand to touch one of her ears, press there for a moment, and then sighed softly. Eventually the speaking drew her away from her studies so that she could instead take a peek and see just who else had come to see Arx Obsidian today.

Fauvel had been a Squire of the Knights Obsidian only briefly. Her formal ties to the Confederacy had been loosened once Illyria withdrew from it. This had also cut her time in Naboo quite short; however, her ties to Abel and his tutelage had endured and so the young witch was quite pleased to get a chance to see the fabled city once again, this time properly. Fauvel could not help but get the impression that Naboo was the brighter version of her own Blood Reign. To her the architecture was just a breathtaking, but whereas one was kissed by the rays of sun and stood on marbled pillars with smooth walls of light and earthen tones, Blood Reign was reigned by shadows, dark colors, and intricate, sharp shapes.

Her attention was quickly caught by the green eyed lady as soon as she felt an elbow poke at her side, one of the sides of her mouth curving upwards into a smirk while she looked at Luna. "It is a beautiful city, quite different from what I'm used to." Abel had gotten a chance to visit her in her in Regne de Sang, soon she would have to make arrangements so that Luna could do the same.

It was then that the Starweird caught sight of...wandering eyes, and a chuckle followed almost immediately. Her own red gaze returned to their surroundings as they finally began climbing the stairs to the Arx Obsidian, while addressed the woman by her side. "Although I suppose some might find other views more interesting." She teased.

Her focus then shifted towards the quarter Kraljica, Fauvel had always found his enthusiasm to be contagious and as if that wasn't enough, the young witch held a special kind of love for the fine art studying. The last two options were the more enticing ones to her, and between the two there was one that would always prove itself to be the victor when it came to eclipse the interest of the Illyrian: the Force, and all the secrets it could harbor. A pleased smiled crept onto her features when Luna made her own opinion known, aligned with her own. One who mainly relied on Force Magick herself, it would be interesting to see what they would find. "Force Powers it is then."

ARX OBSIDIAN

Goaded ever forward by his own excitement, the Knight hardly paid attention.

Perhaps that was a testament to just how at ease the man was around his students. When he stood among the nobility of Naboo, he feel their eyes upon him. And though he'd never pry into their minds, he didn't have to in order to know their thoughts. The judgments were all in their eyes. Questioning how a man of such birth could manage to stand among them. Conversely, when Abel was about Luna and Fauvel, he could breathe easy. Though, it seemed, one of the two had their eyes clearly plastered upon him in some capacity. He was far too caught in the moment to notice.

Shortly after entering the Archives, the Knight presented to the pair a few options as to how their foray might begin. History? That was a bust. Weapon skills? A personal favorite of his own, but not so much the pair. Both were perfectly fine with the art of the Force. Abel turned, giving the ladies a knowing smile. Luna was fresh in her walk in the Force, and thus learning anything more would most likely make for a good time. And Fauvel, having come from such a unique culture, usually leapt at the chance to see other perspectives. This was the perfect opportunity.

"Force powers it is. Let's see here." he motioned for the pair to follow him deeper into the Archives, where he stopped before one of the countless shelves. Tapping his chin, the man mumbled to himself as his gaze swept over the crystalline pyramids and cubes laid before him. Unlike his other experiences, it was neat to have such resources available. There was one that he was looking for in particular...Ah! There it was. Abel looked smug for just a second upon locating the azure-hued pyramid and plucking it into his grasp. Then, he tapped the button situated underneath upon the shelf. "Knight Denko, checking out Holocron 431a."

He then offered the pyramid to his students so that they could hold and inspect it themselves. "This is a holocron. Jedi and Sith alike make these to hold information." he began. "This one just so happens to have been made by my sibling, Josiah." The smirk upon his face made it immediately evident that he was the younger sibling. "C'mon, let's go judge him. There are some practice rooms nearby."

As he led the way towards them, he did finally notice some eyes upon their procession. Turning, the Knight motioned towards the shelves where one Kamille Ophedi was drawing near. The young woman was an unfamiliar face, leading the Knight to motion for her to come near. "Hello there!" he remarked, a little bit too loudly.

There was a collective shhhh! in response.

"It is a beautiful city, quite different from what I'm used to." Luna hadn’t gotten to know a lot about Fauvel at this point but enough to know her overall life and being was not what most would consider normal. She still had a lot of questions for the woman but Luna didn’t think it fair that she’d ask and not return the favor. Luna wasn’t ready to fully open up and with her painful past still chasing her, she had no closure of her own. “Something tells me that sounds about right.”

Luna took in more of the space around them still enjoying the view of Abel’s backside while admiring the architecture. "Although I suppose some might find other views more interesting." Luna gave the other woman a lopsided, satisfied grin as a whiff of her galactic perfume reached the young smuggler’s nose. “Damn right.”Once they had reached their destination, both women seemingly were on the same brain wave as they both agreed to force powers. "This is a holocron. Jedi and Sith alike make these to hold information. This one just so happens to have been made by my sibling, Josiah."

Luna vaguely remembered reading about holocrons years and years ago when she wanted to do some research about her father and the Jedi. She hadn’t done much digging, as it had caused her too much pain. But looking at it, she didn’t see anything overly special but she guessed, she was going to be proved wrong on that. But Luna did note that it’s coloring reminded her of Abel’s eyes. The young smuggler only gave a bit of an amused grin as their Master spoke again. "C'mon, let's go judge him. There are some practice rooms nearby."

Speaking to no one in particular, she simply kept her smirk while following their Master. “Judging is one thing I can handle.” But they were stopped short as another woman had caught their attention. She seemed a bit lost, but after Abel’s loud greeting, there was no way she would have missed that.

Valeria had nearly finished the ancient holocron when a Knight who was giving a tour to, presumably, new members arrived. He was clearly excited, perhaps a little too excited...but judging by the way he looked that didn’t seem out of character for him, that’s what Valeria thought anyways. She stood and went to replace the ancient holocron to its location which just so happened to be near the tour group, Valeria heard him speaking about holocrons, though, to her it seemed he was talking them up a bit, it wasn’t as if they were hard to make for a talented force user but apparently he was the brother of a member named Josiah, the name seemed familiar, perhaps he and this Knight were one of the, in her opinion, self righteous Lotus members? Well, it was of no consequence anyways, better to not worry about it.

Valeria turned to make her way to the practice rooms, mainly just to practice control of her Sith Magick as it would be required at a later date based on what she had read in the holocron when she heard the Knight state this group was also going to the practice rooms, her only thought on the new information being Neat.”. She paused momentarily to look at the group a little more closely, aside from the blonde male, there were two women, one with ashen white hair, the other with a platinum blonde closely resembling her own. Valeria could feel that they were both quite new to the force, not sensing the refinement she might feel from a long term force user as she poked around a bit. It was then that a woman that Valeria had seen in the library earlier strayed perhaps a bit too close, too obviously, near the tour group which prompted the Knight to nearly yell out a greeting.

It was then that Valeria saw her opportunity for a bit of fun, as the universal shush began Valeria used her Force Teleport to disappear in a cloud of frost and to reappear in the same frosty cloud as close as physically possible behind the Knight and in such a way that his companions would clearly notice it, reaching her arm around from behind him and placing an ice cold finger on his lips and loudly whispering, loud enough for the others in the group to hear, in to his ear as frost came off of her breath “Shhhhh, You’re being too loud my dear.”

As Valeria stepped back and out from behind him she smirked and introduced herself properly to the group with a slight bow: “Valeria de la Vallée, Lady of Vanity, Lord within the Thorn Chapter. A pleasure to make your acquaintances, I couldn’t help but overhear that you were making your way to the practice rooms, I also simply happen to be heading there.”

Fauvel followed the pair as Abel led them deeper into the Archive, allowing her red gaze to dance across the tall walls filled with devices she had only recently become acquainted with: datapads, holocrons, the like. There were many things that had amazed her when it came to technology, but, with the exception of holocrons, she still rather preferred her tomes and grimoires over bright screens. There was just a special kind of power in old paper and weathered leather covers.

A pair of pale eyebrows raised in surprise when Abel mentioned this particular holocron belonged to his brother, her curiosity spiking even more than it already had. It would seem today they would not only learn about the Force but about one of Abel's family members as well, and both topics held the Starweird's interest. Normally, Fauvel was of few words and so silent she would remain as they began making their way towards the practice rooms, but a small smile would remain on her lips. At least until they crossed paths with a young girl.

That small smile would widen into a smirk as Abel was scolded for his loudness - but it would not last. A reply was forming and at the tip of her tongue, when something unexpected happened. The Astier felt the Force shift around them and condense in the shape of an unknown person, looming right behind her mentor and friend. For the first time since meeting Luna, the dark shadows that loomed around the Illyrian rose into life like a wildfire - the glow of her eyes turning intense and terrifying while a creeping sense of dread rolled off of the Starweird in waves. The Lady of Blood Reign had been caught by surprise by the unknown woman's entrance and her protective nature had prevailed.

It was but a moment after that she could see this mysterious lady meant no harm, and so the young witch tamed down her own shadows until they had retreated back into their usual stillness buried deep within her core. They were in a safe place, it had been a momentary overreaction. Still, a certain harshness remained in her eyes towards the blonde woman - Fauvel did not particularly enjoy being startled in such a manner.

"Apologies. That was uncalled for." That was all she would say on the matter while offering a slow nod of her head, excusing her initial reaction. Hailing from a cursed land, more often than not anything that used the force was trying to kill her or her people - defensiveness was instinctual. Her gaze then sought out Abel's, as if extending a personal apology to her Master. She still had a lot to learn when it came to restraint regarding her obscure tendencies. "I am Fauvel Astier of Illyria."

After introducing herself, she would look at Luna hoping that the unexpected outburst had not startled the half-Arkanian. In the end, her gaze would settle on the youngest individual of the small entourage who had yet to introduce herself, Kamille Ophedi.

Conversations and collective hushing drew Oleander's cool gaze away from an archives datapad, eyebrow rising as he glanced up to find the source of the commotion. The cluster of individuals - some familiar faces, some far from - had managed to draw several from their readings, Oleander being counted among the several as by the time he turned back to the datapad, it'd fallen asleep for inactivity.

With but a whisper of an annoyed huff (a minor disturbance such as this was hardly worth true annoyance), he reentered his credentials, forced to start over his database navigation. It was a tedious process, trying to narrow down the lists of records to an amount that was both manageable and likely to hold the knowledge he sought. Names only worked if an individual had garnered some sort of renown. The exact year was too specific yet general decade yielded astronomical results. As the search continued, his mind started to wander, falling down a rabbit hole of odd titles that also apparently applied to the keywords he used.

How I'm Not Dead: Memoirs of a Wayward Fighter Pilot

Arkanian Fashion No. 8: Headpieces and Hairpins

Smuggling Hearts: A Cargo Hold for One

Each title seemed more ridiculous than the last. Some, Oleander shuddered to think what the contents entailed, others he almost considered checking out, if only for light reading in between missions. There was one that especially caught his eye, Evenfall which had him transferring the shelving information to his own datapad. The synopsis of a human Jedi falling for an Anzati Sith was silly, just enough so that morbid curiosity sent him looking for the archive on the shelves.

She had been spotted, which overall wasn't a bad thing, but the noise of these people made Kamille lift a hand so that she could briefly touch one of her ears as she gazed across the distance between herself and them. A not very large distance at that. Still, she had been greeted, and now she was being looked at by at least one of these people no less, and this fact caused her to sigh. Kam stepped away from where she had been so that she could draw closer to the gathering of bodies - closer, but not a warm, fuzzy, intrusive kind of closeness.

"I'm Kamille," she didn't feel a need to divulge more information about her name than that, not right now at least. She did take a moment to eye this gathering now that she was closer however. It was a strange combination of bodies, and the fact that she had stood back and bore witness to some of the things they had been doing/done since they had walked into the room? Her curiosity was at least piqued.

"Are you all Knights?" Perhaps it was a silly question, but for Kam it was honest curiosity. She was still new enough not to know faces, and she was fairly certain she would have remembered this particular collection of them if she had encountered them before. Now, whether or not that was an okay question to ask? Well that she was less certain about, but it was out there now either way. And it would be good to know, for if she ever got the chance to join in and climb the ranks.

Shhh!

The Knight could feel his ears going red as his fellow Knights reminded him that this was a place of study. Reaching with his offhand, Abel apologetically rubbed the back of his head. "So-" he began, attempting to make a quiet, general apology for his outburt. Alas, before the syllable could properly drop from his lips, the sensation of utter cold erupted behind him. Were it not for the fact that he knew this was safe ground, the Knight's hand would have flown towards his lightsaber. Fortunately enough, he had enough handle on himself to reduce his instincts to simply clutching the holocron extra tight.

Turning, the man settled his gaze upon the being that had literally appeared out of thin air. You're being too loud my dear. The woman's breath was practically ice as she spoke, leading Abel to swallow. She soon stepped back and introduced herself to the group, offering a light bow. Her introduction screamed nobility, though Abel did not recognize her from any of the local houses. Nonetheless, she was his superior within the Knighthood, and thus Abel regarded her with a polite half-bow.

His thoughts then reached out to Fauvel and Luna. Telepathically, he nudged them to do one thing: < This is one of the head honchos, be polite. > Not that he doubted their abilities to do so.

Righting himself, Fauvel was the first to speak of his apprentices. She apologized for his outburst, leading his ears to feel all the more warm. But, Abel quickly owned his error and moved the conversation forward. "I beg your pardon, Lady de Vallée." he began, before motioning his chin towards his apprentices. "Its our first formal lesson as a team, I admit I was excited. You're welcome to join us as we look into this Holocron."

Abel then turned, spotting the young face that he had reached out to and caused all the fuss. She introduced herself, simply, as Kamille. And her question, though a bit silly in the heart of the Knighthood's archives, was valid in its own way. To this, Abel smiled. "We sure are. Good to meet you Kamille. Care to join us?" He knew that including Fauvel in the lumpsome label of Knights was a technical inaccuracy, but in his mind there was but one simple truth. Once a Knight, always a Knight. If ever she needed him, or his fellows, they would be there. And he had no doubt in his mind she would do the same for him.

Now, the Knight strode off towards the training room and stepped within. The space was the definition of state-of-the-art. Hologram projectors were built into darn near every surface. And there were droid dispensers on either end of the walls. Abel ventured a guess that they were soundproofed, as to not disturb the archive goers outside. He settled the holocron upon the central console and reached out with the Force. "I am Abel Denko, Obsidian Knight." he said, a bit too formally.

The holocron responded. Brimming with the Light side of the Force. It levitated above the console, before creating a man-sized projection. The hooded figured stood for a moment, quietly, assessing those who had gathered. "I am Josiah Denko, Jedi and Obsidian Master." The projection reached up and lowered his hood, revealing a face not a far cry from Abel's own. A fact which made the Knight smirk.

"You forgot nerf herder, brother."

"Remind me to ignore you next time." came the Jedi's retort. There was no malice in his tone, but rather amusement. He then extended his dominant hand, motioning towards the others. "I know this buffoon, but not any of you. Who might you all be? And, most importantly, what is it you seek?"

A lot seemed to be happening all at once thanks to Abel’s loud greeting. It had attracted the gazes and attention to everyone around the three of them. Luna stifled a laugh that threatened to break out of her mouth as a pretty blonde woman had begun to scold her Teacher. But it was quickly put out by two things. Firstly, there had been an uprise from Fauvel; the young woman hadn’t taken well to being startled which left her eyes glowing brighter and harder than the Smuggler had ever seen.

Then there was the oppression that surrounded the woman and shrouded the space around them. It had caught Luna a bit off guard but left her yet, with more questions than answers about her. Cocking her head like a curious bird giving the young woman an equally curious look as Fauvel apologized, Luna didn’t say anything for the moment. The secondary thing that had happened in conjunction with her fellow student’s outburst had been the voice of Abel in her own mind advising her to mind herself. She never knew that Jedi and the alike could do so many odd and fascinating things.

But it would be, however, a struggle for the young Smuggler to mind herself. She had been working on curbing her tongue more often in her new surroundings but It was still that; a work in progress. Before Luna could open her mouth to respond in greeting to anything going on around, the other woman who had been the start of it all finally made her way over and introduced herself and questioned them. “Luna Evanstance, pleased to meet you both.” Simple and right to the point; no smart remarks. No crass joke. Keep your poodoo together, Lu. It seemed at least in her mind it was a test passed.

They, no longer a group of three headed into the training room, where everything began. Listening to Abel give a formal greeting was always amusing for the Smuggler; it was a far cry of what she had been accustomed to, but it looked good on him. Luna’s emerald orbs locked onto the Holocron as a figure appeared, seemingly taking on a life of its own. A cloaked male greeted them, revealing the deep resemblance of Able's handsome features. "I am Josiah Denko, Jedi and Obsidian Master."

And the Abel that Luna knew, was back. The two began bantering leaving Luna to give a loud, slightly obnoxious snort in amusement. It had been louder than anticipated, leaving her to place a hand over her large smirk, clearing her throat and regain composure, dropping her gaze to the floor, momentarily. It was then that Josiah addressed the group that had surrounded themselves around the Holocron, leaving Luna lost in thought at the question. "I know this buffoon, but not any of you. Who might you all be? And, most importantly, what is it you seek?"

What was it that Luna was seeking? Learning about force powers was one thing. Wanting to learn more about what skills her being possessed was another thing. But what was it that she sought? Was she looking much deeper into the question than what she needed to? She didn’t respond to the question for now, but let her mind wander at how she would answer.
