STRENGTHS
- | Heat and Cutting Strength | The Razorcord has two different modes that can be used independently or both at the same time, giving it some versatility. The heat generator incorporated into the Razorcord allows for the line to be heated to high temperatures while still retaining a firm bind on the target. The heat can cut through cloth without issue and permanently scar a target with extreme burns. The vibro generator can then be activated, thus turning the Razorcord into a lethal weapon that can slice through whatever is caught in the cable. When both systems are active at the same time, the combination of extreme heat and ultrasonic vibrations allow it to cut through most standard armors as well as sever limbs with ease.
- | Smart Tip | The Razorcord's tip is equipped with microthrusters and its own system that allows it to fire off microbursts after it has been fired, allowing for it to wrap around targets much more effectively to entangle them in the cable. This can be used in tandem with targeting softwares to target specific body parts.
- | Amputate and Maim | As opposed to its original predecessor the Fibercord whip, the Razorcord whip is designed as a lethal tool - Thus it is not the tool to bring if you want someone captured alive and in good health - though on the bright side they won't bleed out due to cauterization.
- | Reduced Tensile Strength | The Razorcord sacrifices tensile strength in favor of lethality, thus a strong enough individual could snap through the Razorcord before the heat or vibro generator incapacitates/kills them. While unpowered it more or less functions like a standard fibercord, it takes nearly double the amount of line wrapped around the target to keep them in as tight of a bind as standard fibercords.
DESCRIPTION
The BH 'Razorcord' Fibercord Line is an alternative to the standard fibercords one might find many bounty hunters using. Built to be compatible with any platform that fires standard fibercords, the Razorcord offers individuals a greater degree of flexibility while on the field; if a situation calls for more lethal measures be taken, or the health of the target in question is of no importance, the Razorcord performs much better than its non-lethal counterpart.
Razorcord features two elements that make it a deadly tool; a heating element in the form of electroplasmatic filaments that can be heated to extremely high melting degrees as well as an ultrasonic vibration generator that gives the Razorcord its ability to cut through armor, flesh, and bone with ease. Each of these systems can be activated independently from one another, at the same time, or neither active for greater control over the degree of pain one wishes to inflict on their enemies.
