- Transport - The Bantha is a dedicated transport, able to swap out it's bay with numerous options making it a perfect landing ship for transporting supplies, vehicles and heavy equipment in and out of a combat zone. Its interchangeable docking bay allows it to adapt to any scenario.
- Shielding - The Bantha class is outfitted with an advanced shielding unit, and while this does slow down the craft, it allows it take a beating while still keeping its passangers, cargo and crew safe.
- Slow - One drawback is the ships speed and low maneuverability make it a target for fighters and interceptors alike, with engine space being given to the deflector shields and docking clamps. This makes it so the Bantha rely mainly on its high defence to survive.
- Lightly Armed - Because the shielding takes up so much power the dropship was made to be lightly armed. It is only equipped with 2 heavy laser canons meaning most other ships are able to win fire superiority when attacking the landing ship
DESCRIPTION
The Bantha-Class landing ship is a heavy load lifting transport ship, that works as the work horse of any military, whether its put in a logistical role or a vehicle transport. The ship can be outfitted the needs of any mission as the interchangeable bays allow for high modularity in terms of cargo able to carry larger vehicles, a troop transport bay or cargo containers.. While its speed and stock firepower aren't that impressive its shielding makes up for these losses, allowing the transport to ferry troops across a battlefield safely and in large number. With the edition of Okins Industries to the Risen Empire the vehicle was overhauled, being fit to the role of carrying heavy cargo and vehicles in combat.
