HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Orkins Industries dates back to the time of the Galactic Civil War, when former Imperial officer and son of Ledre Orkins established Orkins Starships Productions after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. Initially set up to secretly supply various Imperial Remnants and Warlords it eventually expanded its business, offering its products to the citizens of the galaxy. Over time the company took many forms eventually becoming Orkins Industries, with each CEO being a descendant from the original Orkins and all of them inheriting the business after serving an Imperial faction, as an homage to the undying loyalty of Ledre Orkins to the Galactic Empire. Orkins Industries in this day and age is headed by Kizar Orkins who has launched the corporation off world aboard the Vergesso-Class Mobile Factories. To this day Orkins Industries provides ships to the galaxy.
