Grand Shepherd Burtch is right, A ARS VAMI . They are his ships, so he'd know. Plus his crew would have been using not just sensors, but their own eyeballs in seeing the ship or ships that Eric is using. They'd be able to see the difference between some flying sheet of metal and one of their own ships.

The Elysium Empire's ships are always on the move and not drydocked anywhere, plus they are highly manned. Planting ION bombs on them would be extremely difficult and should be played out in a different thread beforehand, rather than made up on the spot.

Burtch is the lead writer for the Elysium Empire's ships that are protecting Loreena's shipment. So kindly edit your post as he requests.

We are not in EE space. Nowhere near it. They are not EE ships, nor were ION bombs or stealth tech put on subs that Grand Shepherd Burtch made himself. He knows the ships better than anyone else. No ships were stolen either to allow for any stealth tech put into them. Plus as I said, the crew are also looking out the windows and can see ship lights and engine exhqust with their eyes.

There are no sidelines that are out of range in this fleet and convoy. You'd have to be a huge dustance away and as he had said, the ship that you are on has no hyperdrive. So it can't be far away and out of reach.

I am running this skirmish thread. So once again I ask that you edit your post according to Burtch's specifications or you'll have to leave the thread.

Those hold no relevance to this current thread A ARS VAMI as they don't include either of the people here, nor this skirmish plot. They don't show how you'd of gotten one of Grand Shepherd Burtch 's ships, nor how you'd of implanted ION bombs on the hull of one of his others. Again, the EE are not involved in this at all. Nor is this taking place anywhere near them on the map.

Please edit your post to Burtch's specifications.

Alright this will have to do. The Freestars still don’t have hyperdrives, but I’ll make an exception for the sake of simplicity. You can even keep the ship and say that you added the hyperdrive but I would suggest making a separate ship sub and getting it approved by judges in the future. That way you can link the ship and prove that you have it instead of linking confusing threads like this one. Make sure you get permissions from Heath Valhoun to use his original Freestars as a reference in the submission and link it under “permission”. Otherwise factory judges won’t accept it.

I have decided to angle towards ending the story, but if others arrive just as the convoy is leaving, then we will proceed as though they caught us by surprise.

If you have any sneaky surprises for the story, make sure you run them by Loreena Arenais-Valhoun in a PM so that it fits. She can help you make it work and you can tell her to keep it a secret from the defenders.

A ARS VAMI , you have nearby ships? I thought you were just in the stolen freestar that you somehow fitted with a hyperdrive? That alone will need a new submission made by the factory which will be your responsibility to do before you use it in any other thread.

Last I knew, you had made a jump away, so you're not in range. And Grand Shepherd Burtch is about to get the convoy out of there.

I don't approve of these sudden tactics that appear to be made at the drop of a hat without at least my own prior knowledge, for I am the one in charge of this story. Sorry.

A ARS VAMI it is ok if you want to surprise the other participants in a competitive PvP thread, but the DM, or in this case Loreena Arenais-Valhoun , should never be surprised. Sometimes you get lucky if the DM doesn’t notice things, or the DM decides that they don’t care, but it’s always best to play it safe and establish your assets at the very beginning.

to everyone involved, Burtch is merely attempting to jump the cargo part of the convoy to hyperspace. If the jump is successful, the escort vessels will be next.

if anyone wants to jump in and get dirty, now is the time to do so. If you have any surprise attacks or assets that you want brought in at this time, it is allowed as long as you get approval from Loreena Arenais-Valhoun . You can ask me, but I’d be having to get permission from Carla in the end anyways, so best to cut out the middle man. I only helped her plan this, but it’s her show, and mostly her idea.
