Considering that Galactic Alliance Senators are viewed as powerful, often arrogant men and women, the same can be said about the Bastra Class Luxury Yacht. Named after the late Senator Ido Bastra of Courscant, the Bastra Corvette is perhaps one of the most advanced and strongest little ships on the market, reinforced by layers upon layers of ablative armor and layers upon layers of shields of all types. In other words, the Bastra is a ship that was designed to protect first and foremost, something direly needed for Senators in these dark days.
Speedy and with more maneuverability (arguably, mostly without facts) than a Lambda Shuttle, the Bastra is a starship designed soley to be both a transport and mobile office, more specifically one that could protect senators in ways their current transports cannot.
