[Serenno - space]

"We're out of ordnance: let's just engage enemy fighters, bombers for the time being until such time that we can be re-armed" the mission leader told its surviving fighters, after being rocked by explosions of ordnance.

With the enemy fleet over Serenno having finally gotten around to charging the Silver Jedi fleet head-on, and the enemy having deployed its fighters, their own fighters are out of ordnance but are still rather fresh in terms of main-armament ammunition. They were hit by proximity charges, interceptors and other point-defense expedients coming from a variety of sources after what they themselves fired were mostly shot down. As for interceptors, what they were trying was that, as one squadron was fired at by the interceptors, another would engage a stern chase, while the whole fighter group was moving towards the Silver fleet, friendly and enemy. Of course there was going to be some losses in ordnance or in fighters. As the surviving fighters flew out of the range of the enemy flak, that is, the Fangs, they lost nineteen fighters at this point of the battle, and falling back to the safety of friendly point-defense and fighter screens could be the salvation for those fighters engaged in battle. And yet, as they returned to screen the main SJ fleet present in-system, the enemy will enter the hornet's nest provided they are willing to follow the ordnance-less Chiloons (even though the enemy may overshoot the original targets in the process). And then the SJ fleet will be able to shoot at their leisure, hopefully shooting at (and perhaps shooting down) the flak ships in the process...

As The Devestator began to rock and heat itself into molten slag Vrak looked around. His gaze fell to the floor for a moment and then towards the Red Guard who were still patiently waiting by the door. Through their comm's Vrak would hear the rest of the Resurgent Legion soldiers dying, though they were of course expendable.

"Oh well." Vrak said with a shrug as he motioned towards Rakosh and the Red Guard.

To think that The Empire had been seeking to conquer this world was utterly foolish. Their initial force had been composed to only two ships, no escort craft and with reinforcements only coming unrequested. They had made no move against the populace and had never dropped even a single bomb onto the populated areas of Ord Radama. Vrak hadn't come here to take the planet, he hadn't come here to kill it's populace or slaughter this way through enemy troops. He had come here for what Malgus had left behind, and he had that.

The Jedi had never come to take it away from him, instead they'd focused on wanton slaughter of men conscripted by the Sith.

A small smirk touched his lips. "It's time for us to leave, Rakosh."

The object within his palm, the small onyx sphere, once again burst to life. The force flooded through him, and a moment later Vrak motioned towards the Red Guard and Rakosh. The Jedi Outside of the destroyer within the marsh would feel a sudden lull of power, then a burst of the darkside rushing over the edges of the slagged hull of The Devestator.

Then they would feel nothing.
