Hello folks. Been chatting with faction buddies about our next faction event and we came up with a cool idea. Basically, we're going to have a bank robbery where we steal a bunch of holocrons / money / whatever valuables each individual bank robber wants to get.
To do that, we'll stage a diversion where we grab an old bulk freighter, weld pipes and whatnot onto it to make it look like its bristling with guns, load it up with some old B1 battle droids and Vulture droid fighters, then have it jump into orbit of the planet where the heist takes place and pretend its the Contingency. While the planetary defenses are focused on that, we sneak a team in and rob the bank. Of course, this may end up attracting the attention of the real Contingency, if the admins decide to take interest. Opposition would be in the form of obstacles, traps and security droids, which have to be dealt with as we go in.
Non-faction members would join in as essentially thieves for hire, who are being contracted by the Shrouded to assist in the heist and promised a cut of the loot. Please post in this thread if you want to join, so I can tag you once the IC goes up.
What we need to determine is which planet we'll be robbing. Personally, I'd like it to be a neutral planet that isn't within the borders of a major faction, otherwise we might end up having to deal with a fleet. What do you guys think?
