HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The city takes its name from its founder Ozbek Bahadir, a man who had been on the planet during the four hundred years of darkness. Now it is unknown as to exactly where Bahadir came, but what is known is that he settled around the old Whittle River that now sits on the southern end of the city. What started as one man’s home turned into a family settlement after he met his wife Ramya.

And during the course of four hundred years what was Bahadir’s Settlement became Bahadir City.
The city’s first industry had been timber but soon turned to other means of income including the crafting of bridges. Bridges, prefabricated buildings became their go to and then as technology grew the industry changed from the old to the new including the mining of elements, minerals and ores that would become durasteel.

Durasteel, duracrete and many other materials now considered everyday and ordinary continue to be a staple for the city but just before the Gulag Plague another industry had started to emerged. Shunted by the plague and the Netherworld event, Bahadir’s burgeoning film industry has finally started to take off in the shadows of the old industries a new one seeks to take over.

The First Order’s arrival to Niran and by proxy, Bahadir did little to deter the city from its progress. Instead Bahadir came to serve as an entry point for First Order propaganda on the planet. Although not the capital of the planet it is often the most visited thanks in part to the growing film industry as the wooden signs of BAHADIR are erected up over the McMullin Hills. A literal sign of the times that the new is taking over the old, as the city’s ever changing skyline boasts First Order banners and the lights of film and the theater.

Not entirely sure what to think of naming the city after the artist of the image you're using, but as I don't think there is a rule against it, this is pending approval
