GENERAL INFORMATION

Name: Hell-Wolf

Designation: Semi-Sentient

Homeworld: Trian

Language: Body language, grunts and growls, can be trained to understand basics of languages.

Average Lifespan: 30 years, although the usual sale version only lives seven years due to the accelerated aging used in the growth process.

Estimated Population: Varies based on demand, Rare (usually)

Description: The Hell-Wolf is a particularly large wolf, growing to the same size as a small tank, and eating like one too, it's massive jaws are able to swallow a man whole. Despite what the advertising material shows that are actually to large to be ridden comfortably, however they certainly have the strength to carry someone on their back if they need to.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION

Breathes: Type 1, tolerant of Type 2 and Type 3 provided oxygen is present.

Average height of adults: 3.6m

Average length of adults: 6.6m

Skin color: Pale

Hair color: Black, Grey, White, Brown

Distinctions: The most significant trait of the Hell-Wolf is it's size, equal to that of a small tank, makes the Hell-Wolf stick out in a crowd.

Races: N/A

Strengths:

Living tank: The Hell-Wolf is genetic engineered to be a living tank, and therefor it has the durability and speed to match one, thanks to the DNA from the Mandalorian Rekr and the Bwarg from Effekt it has had the high bone and hide density from both cranked up to the near maximum possible. It is extremely resistant to hand held weapons, and even lightsabers to a degree, but this is only due to the amount of flesh and hide that one must cut through to damage something vital. Because of this it must be dealt with in a similar manner as a regular tank.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning: The Hell-Wolf is able to survive in toxic atmospheres as well as tolerate inhaled diseases and poisons that might be used to counter them. This is because their lungs have been significantly augmented so that as long as they have oxygen they can breath in just about any environment.

My mind is mine: Due to it's connection to the force the Hell-Wolf is immune to mind altering force attack, the only time it's mental defences are down enough to be vulnerable is when they are attempting to bond with a handler, at this point a force user trained in Animal bond would be able to exert some sort of influence on them.

Bulging biceps: The Hell-Wolf is incredibly powerful, it is strong enough to rip infantry in half, break open blast doors, flip vehicles, and peel back all but some of the heaviest armours.

Weaknesses:

The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long: To ensure rapid production the Hell-Wolf ages extremely fast, the standard living only seven years, out of those seven about 25% of its life it is not in peak condition. The other side of the coin is that a custom ordered long living one will take significantly more time to reach physical maturity and will spend more time relative to its life span unable to fight at peak, if one lives for 30 years (the maximum).

Start them young: A Hell-Wolf must be raised with it's handler from "birth" (when it has become mature enough to remove from it's cloning chamber) so that it bonds with it's handler. The handler must be present for almost all of the first three months of post "birth" life.

Soulbound: The Hell-Wolf uses the force to form a bond with it's handler, once formed it can not be broken, if two Hell-Wolves attempt to bond with the same handler they will fight the other Hell-Wolf to the death, the only way to prevent this is to have a force user trained in Animal bond, a sufficiently trained user could calm up to a pair for long enough to form bonds with both. Should the handler die while the Hell-Wolf is bound to them they will whip into a frenzy attempting to kill whomever killed their handler. If there is no clear enemy targets upon entering this state the Hell-wolf will kill indiscriminately until it's blood lust has been fulfilled, once it has calmed down it will fall into a horrible depression in witch there is no coming back, at this point it would be a mercy to put the creature down.

Genetic dead end: Due to the absolute mess of genes used in their creation all of the Hell-Wolves are infertile, further more the species and no female sex as males produced a better result in both following orders, combat capabilities, and aggressiveness in testing, there is a template for a female variant in storage, also infertile, but it remains unused except for custom orders.

Raid the fridge: The Hell-Wolf requires a massive amount of nutrients daily, upwards of 40,000 calories daily, 60,000 if the wolf is undergoing strenuous activity, combat or intense training for example.

CULTURE

Diet: Raw meat and other high portion foodstuffs

Communication: Verbal growls, body language, telepathic (extremely minor)

Technology level: Not capable of tool use

Religion/Beliefs: N/A

General behavior: It was found through testing that the males of the species fell into the category of dumb brute with the females were more intelligent but weaker physically, but this intelligence proved to a detriment as they did not respond to orders are quickly and were far more likely to disobey orders. Once bonded the Hell-Wolf is incredibly loyal and will willingly sacrifice them selves in order to protect their handler. They do not have any natural prey but have the hunter's instinct passed on from the species it's DNA was assembled from and is able to used this when stalking enemies in a battlefield situation.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Azaloth is always looking for the next big project to occupy her time, looking through her collection of genetic sample she found a distinct lack of canine samples, It was a simple decision for her to pick out some of the Galaxy's deadliest and go to work. She planned a months long trip from her home and labs on Trian so that she could gather these as well as study them in order to get some insperation for what to do once she acquired

First of her list was a Rekr from Mandalore, being both incredibly rare and deadly this was too be the hardest sample to procure, one born in captivity wouldn't do, it would have it's important instincts dulled, eight days and two wounded later Azaloth had both a male and female in custody. The next target was a Vu'kasin on Bastion, her main reason for wanting one was their immunity to mental attacks, this of course meant that capture, once again would be very difficult, especially because of their need to be the baddest thing around, it made them very aggressive and resulted in one death amongst her party. Next up was a Bwarg from the forests of Effekt, their durability and speed were paramount in the project that was beginning to form in her mind. In order to round off the list was a Kabairan Snow-Wolf and a Renan bloodwolf, both plentiful and relatively easy compared to the first three targets were rounded up within mere hours of landing on their respective planets.

Upon returning Azaloth spent days in her labs attempting to squeeze the best possible combination out of the of the cocktail of DNA, in addition to that she added a bit of her own DNA into the mix to allow for the force bonding with it's handler. Experiment H-311 was finally successful and yielded the desired results and the Hell-Wolf was born into this world.

Just a few questions before I stamp this:
  • What exactly makes the Hell Wolf so durable? Reinforced bones? Thickened hide? You mention immense strength and durability but I'd like something more specific in terms of rationale.
  • How exactly can one extend the lifespan of a Hell Wolf?
Tag me when you're done making edits.

Added why it is durable to the durability strength, it has inherited dense bones and hide from some of its genetic parents.

Edited the age to be more cohesive, it lives 30 years but the version that is unusually sold only lives for seven due to accelerated aging used in the cloning process.
