STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Master Strategist: Ayden has spent centuries studying the military and psychological profiles of the best and brightest minds within the galaxy. This has afforded him a high level of insight into combat theaters on a very large scale. It is not much effort then for him to look at an ongoing battle and best surmise how to influence its outcome to his desire. This also means that when he makes a plan, he makes several more to counter the plans that anyone would make to counter his first. The phrase 'Xanatos Gambit' is apt to describe Ayden's methodology.

Esoteric Force Knowledge: Ayden has spent many years learning unusual Force techniques, both as a personal interest and as a member of the ancient Force Order, the Order of the Selab. The library of knowledge he has built contains many rare and valuable holocrons, scrolls, and other artifacts of power that could spell disaster in the wrong hands.

Long Live the King: Ayden has lived for as long as he has through careful and meticulous use of clone technology and Transfer Essence. Each clone is matured at a natural rate and kept in a medical coma until needed. While this affords him a longer effective life span than most, each time he transfers into a new body he has to take a long time to relearn much of what he knew in the past life.

Stubborn Corellian to the Max: Ayden is Corellian by birth and by blood, and it shows. While this resilience allows him to continue on in the face of adversity, be it physical or mental, it has also nearly sparked two wars to date as his pride refused to let him back down when a more reasoned response would have been appropriate.

Defensive Combatant: Ayden does not practice close quarters combat regularly. Most of the time, he will orchestrate a battle rather than engage in one. As a result, Ayden is a defensive fighter. This means he relies on his stamina to outlast an opponent, a tactic that usually only works against the uninitiated.

Non-combative Force Training: Most of Ayden's time and effort has been spent in learning techniques with the Force that do no have direct applications in battle, such as large-scale telekinesis or Force Lightning. While this aids greatly in his ability to infiltrate or thwart the plans and actions of others, it is another handicap in a fight.

BIOGRAPHY:
The man who many know as Ayden Cater is something of a mystery. Before suddenly appearing on Corellia as the liason to OmegaPyre, as it was known then, no data exists of him. No birth records, no accolades, no criminal history. He came out of nowhere, bringing with him charisma and planning that spoke of years of experience. And that was how Ayden meant for it to be.

In the dark corners of the Jedi Temple, before the Fall of Coruscant, there existed a record of a man, a Jedi, named Ayden Cater. Born in 364 ABY, this man was spirited away in the arms of the Jedi from an early age. His rise through the ranks to Master was an unremarkable one, as unremarkable as a Jedi can be whilst attaining that status. The only noteworthy feature within this record was his repeated clash with the Council over his taking of a wife. Those who strove to hold conservatively to the Jedi Code of the Old Republic believed this to be dangerous, yet he was able to retain his status within the Order and even reach the rank of Master in spite of it. He was a well-known face across much of the Inner Territories and was certainly known and respected throughout the wider galaxy.

And then the Gulag Plague struck.

His wife, Elara, and two of his children were amongst the first to perish. On the steps of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, he held his wife in his arms as she died, while the Jedi turned their backs on him and continued their belief that this sickness was not a threat to them and that this was the price he had to pay for his attachment. Disillusioned, he left the Order and destroyed all records of his status as a Jedi Master. Though he decried the Jedi Order's callous treatment of his wife, Ayden would not turn his back on the rest of the galaxy. For five years he traveled the star lanes helping those he could with his oldest daughter. Though their victories were few, they held fast to their mission in the belief that their departed family would have wanted that.

On Rhommamool, they arrived to help a settlement in the midst of an outbreak when slavers attacked. Thrown aside by an explosion and left for dead, Ayden awoke to find that his daughter was amongst those taken. Driven by desperation and fury, he did things that day and in the days that followed that would have seen him killed on the spot by the Order. Unfortunately, none of that could change the passing of his last daughter. What evils had been visited upon her carried over to Ayden. He no longer cared about saving people, or helping them where he could. The galaxy had taken everything from him.

He decided then that he would take something back.

For years, Ayden worked tirelessly in pursuit of a way to defy death. As the galaxy fell silent, one sector at a time, so too did Ayden grow darker and darker. His time was not wasted and he finally found that which he sought. Though it was not yet perfect, Ayden now had the time he needed to begin his planning. The first order of business would be the stabilizing of the galaxy. Fear and desperation had driven almost every sector into isolation. That would have to be changed. He dared not risk his own life, so he turned to a man he had once met on Corellia. A most curious man by the name of Sarge.

A survivor much like himself, Sarge was subjected to a battery of tests and procedures devised by Ayden to give the man the best chances of survival out in the galaxy. As Sarge was not a man of the Force, the only way to ensure that he could survive the decades, centuries that it would take to stabilize the galaxy, he would have to endure extended cryogenic freezing in order to prolong his lifespan. When not on ice, Sarge was tasked by Ayden to execute missions that would help bring about the stability of the galaxy. Sometimes this meant killing a planetary governor. Other times it meant ensuring that a corporation's expansion and recovery was not being blocked by other parties. It was a mission without pleasantries or mercy, but it was necessary.

Eventually the galaxy did stabilize. Sectors emerged one by one, and the next phase of Ayden's plan could begin.

Whether this plan is for the galaxy's benefit or ruin, only Ayden could say.

Will have to keep this character in mind for the future. Strategy is not my strong suit. Most of my plans end up backfiring on me in the end ;) It'd be good to succeed at least once :p
