Eria Pechal was a charming little world and she meant that in the least posh way imaginable.
Yula was fond of traveling and had been exposed to all sorts of different environments both with her family and on her own. To say that she had the traveling bug would be an understatement, but it was born out of simple curiosity a need to know the galaxy around her. Odd-jobbing didn’t pay much, but it left her with enough credits to make her way. And if it didn’t, well…her mother would be upset at the amount of times she’d slept on a spaceport floor. Didn’t bother Yula much.
She sat on the steps of the temple, a structure of stone and wood built recently by the Jedi Praxum. There wasn’t much going on for her right now, but that was alright—just watching the younglings play with the native children was enough for her. This world was calm, shrouded in jungle and hidden away from the eyes of hungry empires eager to expand their galactic holdings. Hopefully it would stay that way.
Yula had heard of them through something of a grapevine. Her mother had worn the title of Jedi long ago and spoke fondly of the experiences and adventures she’d had, conveniently leaving out some of her darker struggles. While her mother had also been a good teacher, Yula was eager to meet others who were walking along the same path.
