Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
"Well... First, I intend to help her adjust to life in out time. Then I intend to learn more about her, her creator, and whatever data she has left. And finally, I'll give her a body capable of housing her AI in order to let her experience the world as it should be experienced - freely." A smile ran across her lips as she eyed the projection over. "Not to mention that I have some... creative ideas, to say the least, for you to more adequately experience how it feels to be, well... human."

SARI cleared her throat, quickly going back to surfing the holonet, her eyes wide. This was one of those things she wish she couldn't hear. She pulled up two additional panels n either side over her, now searching through all three.

SARI didn't look up from her panels. "Truthfully, a little adventure sounds fun. I know a lot about the galaxy, and how it came to be. But it would be nice to see it first-hand, seeing as how I myself have never seen it. Dr. Reeve did, however."

SARI considered this silently. Seeing the galaxy through the eyes of another... It sounded intriguing, to say the least.

"But then again, you also want to interact with the galaxy, don't you? Data is only so much of a sensory perception." She smiled, pulling out an apple. "Wouldn't you like the opportunity to take this apple and hold it in your hand? To smell its delicious fruity flavor as you bring it to your mouth and take a bite out of it? To feel your jaw open and close as your teeth sink into the delicious fruit, your tongue transmitting every feeling of taste to your mind? To watch as your eyes pick up the gleam off the juicy, moistened fruit as your ears truly resonate the crunching sound of eating the apple? And suddenly, you realize how intimate of an experience it is, utilizing all four of your senses at once."

"That is what I want for you. I want every bit for you to travel the galaxy with me and experience all there is to offer. But not as an image on a screen, confined to the systems of an armored suit. I want you to experience it the way I do."

SARI looked at the apple. To be honest, she did wonder what it would've been like to be human. To truly see, and to feel, and to taste like a living thing would. But then again, she was happy to be what she was. AIs live for a long, long time. They can access anything by just thinking about it, travel through technology unlike anyone else, and do what humans could never dream of. She smiled. "It's a nice thought, but I enjoy being what I am. After all, there's only one me."

Shadow smiled as SARI replied to Cass' offer. He moved up towards her, "You and I have a similar outlook."

Shadow was pleased. He was happy to hear someone stand up anc be proud for who they were.

"I suppose it's your choice. Theoretically, you could use the wireless transmitter array of this freighter to beam yourself as a collection of data packets to a nearby communications beacon, then transmit yourself anywhere in the galaxy through subspace communication channels. However, that would take some time, unless you wanted me to jury-rig something for you."

Pausing, she turned to the former Darth. "I'll get her a mainframe and a color-based holoprojector, along with a direct link to the holonet." And back to the hologram. "If you want, I'd be glad to give you some new algorithms in order to speed up your hacking and transmitting capabilities, or anything else you'd like done."

SARI nodded, and her panels vanished. "That would be very helpful. Thank you, Cassandra. If you like, I'll keep mainstream contact with you via holonet. You can talk to me whenever you feel the need to." She then turned to Shadow. "I guess I'll be in your head then?" She smiled.

Shadow gave a small chuckle. "Not right away, I still need to take you back to my ship and finish configuring the mask," he explained.

But then he nodded, "Yes I suppose it is my head still."

Shadow turned to Cass. "And you and I still have to talk about where we left..."

"Maybe we do, maybe we don't. On either hand, I still need to prepare a mainframe for her. Preferably somewhere secure - somewhere she could link to your mask and transmit from. A stable line of communication between us." She smiled, looking back at Shadow.

"Besides. You're supposed to be dead, last time I remember."

SARI let her holographic form vanish to give them privacy. She returned to her data chip to await retrieval, adding some last-minute data to her archives before the move. Apparently, Cassandra and Shadow had a history. How close that history actually was, she wasn't certain.

As SARI left there sight, Shadow shifted his gaze towards Cass. "So, Circe, who's after you know? You wouldn't just change your name."

He was interested to find out what she had been up to and why she became Cassidy.

"No one, really. I took this body because my last one destabilized. In effect, I died. Again." She sighed, turning her head to the side. "So here's the deal. I'm going to sync my mainframe with your helmet. There'll be a constant link between the two, allowing her to go from 'home' to 'work' easily." She paused, smiling. "I got her. You wooed her. It's only fair we properly share custody of her."

SARI laughed, though no one could hear her. Yep. These two definitely had a close history. Even if it wasn't intimately close, it was still close enough to where they could agree to share instead of fight each other. It was kind of cute, really.

Shadow smirked. "I agree."

He sighed after this. "Sorry for leaving like I did..." He and her did have a strong past together. Nothing relationship wise, though they were close friends when the Horde was in it's child state.

"What are your new plans?"

"It's okay. You're a hardcore traditionalist Sith nerf herder. I'm used to those types." A smirk crossed her lips as she smiled, considering the recent circumstances. "You know, you really should stick around more. The Horde could certainly use you. Still, that is."
