SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Face Fisted: The high weight, shockwave generators, and various accuracy and strength enhancing technologies included in the PRSTC-800 make it a great tool for an old-fashioned punch in the face.
  • Slurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp: The inclusion of Xythan force shield tech allows the PRSTC-800 to deal with many forms of energy, including lightsabers, through absorption.
  • UHHNNNNNlimited POWER: Alchemized power cycling coils included just below the base of the fingers facilitate the use of force lightning. The structures not only enhance force lightning but also convert energy absorbed by the Xythan force shields into electricity in favor of a one for one return method. Power absorbed is banked into the diatium power cell to keep systems and features powered, while excess is dispersed through an energy sink.
  • Ooga Booga Beskar: The Beskar included in the chassis composite serves to make the prosthetic very resistant to both kinetic and energy-based hazards.
  • Thank You Based Alloy: The inclusion of Cortosis in the chassis composite along with Beskar were chosen specifically to combat the destructive blades of lightsabers. With the resulting composition, the prosthetic should be capable of grabbing a lightsaber with minimal damage.
WEAKNESSES
  • All your weight, it falls on me. It brings me down: Due to the amount of tech included, the cybernetic is much heavier than usual. This has a negative impact on maneuverability and dexterity.
  • Power Overwhelming: Certain systems such as the 'Ripper', the vibration generator, and the shockwave generator can exude enough force to damage the arm, shoulders, or other muscles due to the sheer force and sudden movements. This means that the user puts themself at risk when using these features and must use them wisely and sparingly.
  • UHHNNNNNlimted P- Battery Low: When utilizing certain features, especially the amplification coils, the diatium power cell can be quickly spent of all energy. This will require the user to either recharge the cell with energy absorbed through the xythan force shields, or a power cell replacement. Power cell replacement is an unintuitive and long-winded process due to the number of systems packed into the chassis.
  • Burnout: If the xythan shields absorb more energy than can be handled by the power cell and energy sink, or if the amount of force lighting handled by the coils reaches a critical level, the power cells along with more vulnerable features can fry. Coils can be burned to total inertness and require a replacement, and the more complex electronics can be critical damage and require a full replacement.
DESCRIPTION
During the Battle of Muunilist of the Sith-Imperial civil war, Lyra 'Sybila' Voikryt Lyra 'Sybila' Voikryt lost her right hand in a battle against AMCO AMCO and his Sithspawn. The loss was especially devastating considering it was her dominant hand. While New-Imperial medical services provided their own standard prosthetic, it was terribly basic in function and design. Darth Avernus directed the focus of a small AvCorp™ R&D group into developing a unique and advanced prosthetic for his apprentice. The primary design was drafted by Avernus and left to the scientists and engineers of AvCorp™ to produce and perfect.

The design's primary function, aside from being a functioning hand, is to harm and destroy. While utility features are present, a majority of the design's capabilities revolve around its offensive package. The prosthetic has the strength capabilities of crushgaunts and powergloves. Accuracy enhancing tech such as the echani tech and AvXRD ripper serve not only to increase combat efficiency but for fine manipulation dexterity. Shockwave generators and ultrasonic vibration generators add to the destructive power of not only strikes but also grip and manipulation. All of this is coupled with an ultra-durable composite to ensure the prosthetic can hold up against its own destructive forces.

The inclusion of alchemized power cycling coils serves a dual purpose. The first and primary purpose is to amplify force lighting that passes through the alchemized coils. It achieves this by piggybacking off of the secondary purpose and adding more 'fuel' to the lightning. The secondary purpose is to convert energy absorbed by the xythan force shield into electricity. The coils will remain charged up to 50% of their maximum capacity with electric energy. Beyond the 50%, power is routed into the diatium power cell that powers the various features of the prosthetic. The excess energy is sent into an energy sink to disperse the excess and prevent overload.

Each of the fingers contains a compact tool for added utility. The most notable of them being the AvCorp™ overrider scomp link in the index finger. This scomp link will allow Lyra 'Sybila' Voikryt Lyra 'Sybila' Voikryt to quickly access, bypass, and manipulate any AvCorp™ systems that lack a special protocol to prevent this. The scomp link also works as a regular scomp link on non-AvCorp™ products and systems. However, without an external displace (such as a datapad or helmet HUD) the details of the scomp links status, data, and manipulations are not visible to the user.
