- Cortosis- Due to the planets absolute destruction, pieces of the shattered planet have been know to host large chunks of Cortosis. This is mainly from the core of the world crystallizing upon contact with empty space creating the energized properties that the material is originally known for. Few mining corps have dedicated their time to extracting the resource from the world of Avis. Thus, leaving several opportunities for rising competition over the planets vast sections of ore. Although many have sought out such opportunities; the cost of mining cortosis tends to be expensive. Even worse because the planet is splintered into different sections throughout space, it would be harder to located accurate readings on the rare ore itself, leading to even more expensive backing for such an expedition.
Former Major Locations:
The Elderwood Village was located in the sprawling jungles of Avis. The trees of the jungle were massive and strong. With the help of magic and crafty influences of their culture, they soon made homes out of the thick stalks. Before long, the Elderwood village became a community of tiny hallowed out huts. This decision not only sheltered them from violent storms and beasts, but most importantly kept them hidden from outsiders. With coursing rivers close by, the Elderwood mages paved way to funnel the source of water throughout their village. The water provided for many and over time formed waterfalls that descended to the ground below. Since the formation of the waterfalls, most of the lower leveled villagers built higher in the canopy of their home. Vines and large roots provided walkways making it easier to access certain parts of the village. Most Elderwood people enjoyed carving designs into their huts, making them look more intricate and bearing symbols of the sacred tree they worshiped.
The Altar of Sacrifice:
Far north of the Elderwood Village was a place of sacred land. Located on the top of a hill, steps led to an altar. This particular altar was used for sacrificial rituals, that otherwise were considered questionable by some of their own people. Spires of vine covered rocks infested the area, providing cover from potential intruders during incantations. The heaping land mass on which it stood was filled with lush green grass. Some Elderwoods have told tales of echoes, haunting those that weren't permitted at the Altar of Sacrifice. While others, have gone so far to say that spirits lingered atop the hill, long before the cruel acts were ever performed. Only mages were allowed to execute the sacrifices or the deity they worshiped, would be displeased. The Altar itself was made of stone, garnered with heaps of carcasses and runes dressed along its edges.
Mages Circle:
The Elderwoods always valued their gifted. So much so, that a circle of magic was constructed for other applications in the force. Much like the Altar of Sacrifice, the Mages Circle was shrouded in large rocks and trees. While it was located closer to the Elderwood Village, many of the spells that were performed only happened in the dead of night. The mage's constructed the circle with wooden pieces, forming a symbol that represented the all seeing eye of their divine tree. Mages that drew on the power of the circle became tainted in the dark side and eventually, began to practice forbidden magic. Along with the creation, skulls of beasts and teeth were littered on the outskirts of the symbol. The bones were the Elderwood Mages way of contacting the dead, seeking advice for the future to correct their past.
The Temple of Chiefs:
Since the first of their kind ruled, chiefs were given respect. Even in death the Elderwood nobility were treated like Kings and Queens. After a long while, shrines dedicated to their dead weren't enough to honor the dead. Thus, The Temple of Chiefs was built. Using the only reserves of stone the Elderwood had, they built a temple for their dead; specifically their previous Chiefs. Built beneath their village, along the reservoir of water it sat; a monument to their deceased. The temple was perfectly constructed, so much so; that small wooden boats were crafted to reach the inner parts of the temple. Visitors were constantly welcome as a large circular opening greeted them. The Elderwood people would bring sentimental objects to share with their ancestors. Along the stone walls were lists, each a memoir to those that sacrificed themselves in the name of their deity. Over time vines grew throughout the stonework, allowing the previous chiefs who laid at rest to reconnect with nature.
The Rul'Gahsian Fortress:
With the rise of Rul'Gahsians, came one of the most incredible achievements on Avis; a massive fortress. The Rul'Gahsians were proud of their new life and with little time, formed an unbelievable structure that became their new home. With stone from their previous village they took what they could and moved. They recycled all the stone back into the fortress walls from their previous lackluster living style. Since the fort was built in the desert and close to the mountains they had a sight advantage. So the Rul'Ghasians made towers to spot any potential threats from a long distance. In the center of the fort, rested the Rul Gah Stone, floating high above their enormous structures. It served as an illuminating light, a beacon of hope for those that were on the hunt. Deep within the confines of the fortress walls, rested a living quarter for the chief. Along the inner tunnels of the architecture sat square homes, chiseled out from the mountain nearby. The fort had a north and south entrance. Later on, additions below the ground floor were made to form the Oracle Chamber. The most prominent feature were the bone crafted stakes that rested on the outskirts of their prideful home. The bone stakes served as a warning to wandering Elderwoods that may have come looking for a fight. The only other grandiose creation were their tall archways, all of them made by the laborers of the Rul'Gahsian tribe.
The Fighting Pit of Death:
Warriors.
It was normal for them to declare their strength in battle or even on a hunt. It was odd that Rul'Gahsian people were willing to kill one another, after all they were put through, but they did. In order to provide entertainment, Rul'Gahsians that challenged another to death, would do so, in the Pit of Death. No weapons were allowed, only the bare knuckles gifted from their creators. The Fighting Pit of Death was built deep into the south sector of their fortress, hidden away in the canyons of the Red Lands. This allowed their sacred bouts to be out of sight from children and most of all prying eyes that didn't belong. The ring was filled with sand and tiny pillars for additive obstacles. The fights; once declared, would be judged by the ruling chief and only close family members. Only other warriors that were victors could be ring side. All others who weren't immediate family, cheered on from the inner walls of the canyon. Stone tunnels were created for each challenger to enter from, once the victor was decided; the other was killed.
Oracle Chamber:
With the arrival of an unexpected Elderwood mage, Rul'Gah decided to make them the first ever oracle. With the gift of magic the Elderwood mage abandoned the ways of his previous counterparts and became a strong asset to the Rul'Gahsian people. Through the power of the force, the oracle was capable of seeing the future. In order to execute such powers, he had to bathe in the light of the Rul'Gah Stone. Due to this, heavy preparations needed to met. Tedious to build, below in the depths of the inner fortress foundation, a chamber was made. The practice of magic was allowed here, so long as it wasn't used for sacrifices or blood magic. The Oracle Chamber was built with four pillars and a circular platform in the middle. The platform was painted with various symbols located directly underneath the floating Rul'Gah Stone. Above a large hole was formed so that spells and incantations flowed into the air. Sometimes the spells latched themselves onto the Stone of Rul'Gah. This allowed the oracle to connect with the stone and see the events of the future.

The Immortal Rul'Gahsian Arch:
Original Credit: Book of Revelation, by Madink2000
After the flamewind cataclysm ruptured the planet of Avis into pieces, those that once lived on the planet, left behind remnants of the past. Even with their lesser knowledge of the galaxy the civilizations that built on the world of Avis, were magnificent constructors. A couple thousand years later, an archway attached to a large floating mass of rock, lingers in the center of the ravaged planet. Suspended in space with other rudimentary rocks that were once part of the world ages ago, the stone-made wonder is a testament of strength and most of all, the spirit of the Rul'Gahsian people. With unknown marks and engraved art on the archway, it truly is a sight into the past lives of those that were expunged from the world of Avis. Those that have seen the Archway are taken back by the sheer size of it. It's height is over one hundred feet and its thick wide legs are easily fifty feet around. The survey team that first came across it gave it a name; The Immortal Rul'Gahsian Arch.
Miner Base:
In its recent years of discovery a base for miners was established within the rubble that is Avis. Split and separated into large and small pieces of what once made the planet, an unknown corporation took advantage of the Igni'Ventus system, building a mining base inside a large part of Avis's shattered parts. This allowed many of the mining ships to go in and out of the base with their haul of ore or other cargo. While the base was sufficient for such things, it was lightly equipped with a cafeteria and few rooms. It was rare for anyone working within the system to stay in the base, unless absolutely necessary. In present day it's still operational, but most of the mining has slowed over the years. The hassle of a flamewind every six months tends to make the operations less profitable. Made by using the inside of a floating land mass, a mix of alloys were used to create the base. Hidden in the center of Avis, the miners are safe from pirates or other threatening attackers, until, they're found.
Flamewind of Lost Souls:
While it may not be a tangible location, if you have a ship and are willing to travel to the Igni'Ventus system; there is one thing that thousands if not more visit to see. A flamewind from the sun Ignus. The properties of the flamewind are constantly being monitored and while it could end up being a dangerous wave of radiation one day, it currently isn't. Thanks to such research, the flamewind sends out a wave of colors across the pitch black area of space in the Igni'Ventus system. During this spectacle, people have been known to see different colors form those next to them. Each of them feeling entirely different during the experience. Some others have heard screams and calls for help, leading to tales about the Rul'Gahsians and Elderwoods trying to reach out for help. There was a color indicator for when the magnificent phenomenon happened, they are as follows;
Red: The person that gets a chance to see this color, tends to be either heavily conflicted with a love interest or incredibly angry about something. They say a person who sees the crimson color of the flamewind is usually tense during the sight, leading to frustration and even testimonies of hearing vicious voices trying to lead them to the Astral Tree of God.
Blue: Those that are greeted with the color of blue, tend to have a refreshing calm wash over them. They are said to feel emotions of peace and at times sad. Many that see the color blue tend to cry. The color blue also comes with a soothing voice, usually leading people to find the Rul'Gah Stone.
Green: The color green makes spectators feel confident and ready to take on any challenges. They say with this particular color, instead of voices, mixtures of scents come to the senses. Many have stated that the smell of fresh grass and flowers magically embraced them. Most who see the color end up seeking for the next big adventure.
Purple: Those that find a violet spread among them are said to have feelings of doubt and insecurities of where they belong in the galaxy. Voices have been known to lead people in causing harm to themselves. While others have been known to whisper about their failures. Many that leave the system after experiencing this rare color are said to commit suicide or drink their sorrows away.
Orange: Orange, it represents warmth and completeness. Those that see this color have a sensation of pride and accomplishment spread through them. Spectators that are greeted with it are usually people that lead lives of importance and success. While no voices are said to be heard here, many have come forward with seeing an image of medals or trophies in the orange hue that lies across space.
Yellow: Bright and vibrant, the yellow hue is a mark of beginnings. Those that spot the yellow burst of color are said to be lifted lightly in the air, roughly a half of a meter. While hovering many are greeted with a feeling of happiness and joy. Smiles are painted on their lips during the entire spectacle. It is the most common display among them all, making the phenomenon sought out every cycle of Ignus' flamewind.
While the flamewind is quite the spatial occurrence, surveyors are still looking for answers about the experiences that many share with the event. Some think it's the people of Avis using their last bit of magic to call out to those in the galaxy, hoping to hear their story.
Force Nexus:
Astral Tree of God:

Shout out to [member="Tirdarius"] for helping out with the picture!
Size: Area, Small Dark Side Nexus.
Effect:
Some say the force is like the wind, you can't see it, but you can feel it. While in most cases this is true, rare occurrences in the force have made things that were otherwise impossible, possible. Although many who have recently discovered the planet and its unique state, its been known to show travelers, that get close enough, a vibrant glowing tree. The tree resonates with those on the dark side of the force, leading many to believe it is a small force nexus in the cluster of the torn world. The astral image was named after the history behind the faithful servants of a sacred tree that once lived on the planet of Avis. The name given to the phenomenon was Astral Tree of God. Those that approach the floating rock that the tree randomly appears on are presented with a pathway to its core. Many force sensitives that reached the light could feel the unrelenting power of the dark side, confirming the force nexus theories. Cries of those sacrificed to the tree must fuel the dark side of the force enough to conjure the Astral Tree of God. The small shard of rock that the tree lingers on is merely thirty feet wide, twenty feet long. As for the force nexus itself, which resembles the astral tree entirely, it encompasses a small area of roughly five feet wide, ten feet high. Only those who are lucky enough to see the image of the tree, realize how deceiving beauty truly can be. Those that bathe in the breathtaking light for too long will begin to diminish and eventually, die. Light side practitioners that get near the area will be driven delusional, sometimes second guessing their overall beliefs of what's right or wrong.
Intent: To provide a unique aspect of the force through imaginative ways. Also, to implement a reasoning for its creation and the countless sacrifices wallowing out in despair.
Force Nexus II:
Rul'Gah Stone:
Size: Area, Small Light Side Nexus
Effect:
The Rul'Gah Stone may have been fortunate to be hovering during the destruction of Avis. Still, there is no denying its force like properties. Allowing force sensitives to see the immediate future and showing signs of powerful energy. The light side surrounding the stone is said to be extremely pure. The stone, while on the opposite side of the Astral Tree of God, managed to find itself within the shards of land mass from the world of Avis. Located on the outskirts of the broken rim, the Rul'Gah Stone continues to float in the dead of space. Force sensitives that go near the magical stone feel the tendrils of peace. Those aligned in the dark side of the force that are exposed to the jewels energy are said to experience sudden disruption in their ability to use the force. If any user is bathing in the energy of the nexus for too long, they will loose all connections to the force and eventually die. The area that the Rul'Gah stone effects is fifty feet wide, forty feet long. The last property of the glossy stone, is a bright light outlining its edges.
Intent: To provide a reasoning for sudden loss of life during the civil war and cataclysm. Also, to implement a reasoning behind the things Rul'Gah felt from the stone.

- Former Native Species: Near-Human Sentient, called Elderwoods and Rul' Gahsians
- Current Native Species: None
- Immigrated Species: None
- Former Population: Sparsely Populated
- Current Population: None
- Former Demographics: 60% Elderwoods, 40% Rul'Gahsian. While the Elderwood and Rul'Gah tribes were part of the same, at one time; they both seemed to be a species of Near-Human descent. While records remain undiscovered, many scientist believe the Elderwood tribe and Rul'Gah tribe are directly linked to Ysanna. Other researchers have debunked such beliefs, saying that they were a race unknown to the aged galaxy. While records of humans remained to be questioned, they found that many of them were used as slaves. There were no traces of either tribe depicting their actions towards other outsider sentient beings, although judging from the tablets, to most current date; it seemed they were extremely hostile.
- Current Demographics: None
- Primary Languages: Galactic Basic Standard, Unknown Native Language. Based on hypothesis; Ysanna.

- Elderwood Tribes: The everyday life of an Elderwood meant to be one with the Tree of God. To do this, many of the Elderwood people communed with nature, studying and experimenting with various forms of flora. While most plants found on the Planet of Avis were dangerous; they provided a natural way to make medicinal ointments and teas. When it came to fauna, many of the animals were said to be passive and gentle; thus making them sacred and rightfully, by the decree of the Elderwood chief, forbidden to be killed. Although such things rang true for the kind beasts among their tribes, other nefarious and ferocious creatures were to be hunted. Hunting was a necessary activity to feed their people. Only those deemed unfit to be mages of the Elderwood and physically capable; were allowed to hunt. Another way to be closer to the Tree of God and most notably from the Elderwood tribe; was their ability to carve wood into breathtaking art.
- Elderwood Society and Religion: Society for an Elderwood came down to your worth and most of all Magic. The Elderwood chief, leader of his/her people would only be appointed to chief if they had the gift of the force. While many did, only chosen few could become chieftain. With a society built around the worship of a magical tree, strict order had to be implemented. A chief would be fully in charge and as such had last say on mostly all decisions regarding the tribe. Societal status was important and if you were neither a mage or warrior within the Elderwood ranks, you were nothing. Since the ancestral years of the Elderwood, the Tree of God spoke to those gifted in the force. The tree demanded sacrifices in order to maintain their tribes link to the powers of magic. Applications of the force, in early days were for healing. Losing such a divine gift would be unfair. So the Elderwood chief decided to obey the command of the voices whispered to him; thus began the age of their religion. A religion based on the worship of the Tree of God. Sacrificial in their ways, they started with materials. Bones of the animals they hunted, carved wooden ornaments, and if found; the rare Black Lotus. While the Elderwoods proficiency in magic evolved, thanks to their sacrifices. The Elderwood mages began to delve into darker practices, Blood Magic.
- Rul'Gahsian Tribes: Deemed unworthy to the Elderwood society, a warrior by the name of Rul'Gah escaped with those unworthy of the Elderwood practices. Before becoming sacrifices to the Tree of God, they went to start a new life in the barren desert, called Red Lands. The Red Lands were completely opposite of their previous home. Hot and snow top mountains providing them with new shelter. While only in the hundreds, Rul'Gah lead his people to a new life. A life of miners and stone. Being a Rul'Ghasian meant building a new world and to some; a way to stay alive in the wake of the Elderwood tribes practice of forbidden magic. Incapable of the force, Rul'Gahsian people became dependent on the land around them. Utilizing stone to make homes, tools, and weapons. Everyone regardless of ability or name was capable of becoming a chief of the Rul'Gahsian tribe. The only thing that was required to really become chief was a long journey to the frigid pilgrims. A unknown floating stone was Rul'Gah's gem, eventually building a massive fortress around it and becoming the Rul'Gahsian tribes final frontier. While their societal structure was much more free; the Rul'Gahsian tribe began to realize the value of order. Due to this, Rul'Gah made his own decree.
- One: Never practice blood magic.
- Two: Killing of another, in the tribe without openly challenging them to a death duel. Would be illegal and as such would be granted exile or if the killer preferred; tortured to death.
- Three: No Rul'Gahsian was allowed to contact or keep in contact with the Elderwood Tribe.
- Four: Children at the age of ten would be forced to train as a warriors.
- Five: Touching the sacred light from the Rul'Gah stone was unforgivable and would seal the fate of the offender by being stoned to death.
- Rul'Gahsian Religion, Sports, and Art: Since the first ruler of the Rul'Gahsian, Rul'Gah set his eyes on the stone of light, he named it after himself. While he didn't hear voices or whispers of the force he felt connected to it. Soon, he realized the faith his previous Elderwood counterparts had for the tree of god was now more apparent and began his own practice of faith. The stone would be worshiped, while many weren't forced to; they did anyway, bringing a spark of purpose to the people of Rul'Gah. While hunting remained a sport and a way of preventing the people of the tribe from starving other sports began to take form. A sport in many ways that resembles Stone Put slowly gained traction. With a plethora of many different types of stones within their grasp, Cobble Shoot was born. Along with Cobble Shoot, came a sport of strength. Being a warrior vested culture, the Rul'Gahsians were demanded to being strong, thus: birthing a new sport, Boulder Pull. Many tried their hands at the exhausting sport, but only the strongest prevailed. Art became more of a way to express their hurt by being exiled or unfit from their previous ancestors. Bones mixed with stones were crafted into masks, necklaces, sculpted statues and more. Another art came in the form of using stone tablets to design colorful paintings. The color came from flora found in the desert. Most paintings depicted the shimmering light of the Rul'Gah stone. Others, showed images of their own people and scenery around them.

- Former Government: Theocratic Hierarchy
- Current Government: None
- Affiliation: No ties have been recorded with Jedi, Sith, The Republic or The Galactic Empire. This had brought many to think, Avis was never found, despite it's spatial anomalies.
- Wealth: Low. Due to lack of contact with other outside worlds. The people of Avis were very primitive in regards to other known worlds. Credits weren't even a thought.
- Stability: Medium. While many of the tribes on the planet were aggressive towards one another, there was a form of order. Outsiders were never welcome, thankfully only few Elderwoods managed to find a place in their societies as sacrifices. The planet of Avis had chief's who ruled over the tribes. Many of them allowed freedom among their own kind, provided your usefulness. Others were exiled or sacrificed for religious reasons. These actions caused other tribes to form. The newly formed tribes became more free than the oppressed version of their ancestors.
- Freedom & Oppression: On the world of Avis, resided two Tribes. One called the Elderwood. Another by the name of Rul'Gahsians. While each were ruled by a chieftains, many of their own people were free to do anything. The Elderwood tribes were more strict and demanded many of their people to become followers of their faith. Others were forced to practice magic and few were bred into warriors for hunting. The Rul'Gahsians escaped from the demands of the Elderwood and formed a more free society, but after a while a decree was made in order to prevent atrocities within their ranks. While unusual to many outsiders it was illegal for an Elderwood tribe member to touch the Tree of God. The Elderwood tribe allowed the practice of blood magic, killing off newborns of their own people As a Rul'Gahsian it was illegal to touch the shimmering light of the Rul'Gah stone. The Rul'Gahsians also allowed duels to the death, provided for good reason. The victor would remain part of the tribe, while the loser; obviously would be killed.

- Military: The indigenous people of Avis were very centered around their beliefs; thus making them sheltered to the outside world. The only military that would have existed would be through their own magical prowess and basic stone resources that are present, even today. Their tribal ways bred warriors, used for hunting. Compared to the current advancements of war in the present galaxy, Avis would be considered a feral world, stuck in the stone age of magic.
