- Av-Ra: Small and usually with brown fur is various shades. They are created and bred for rich socialites so they are small and able to fit in purses or bags as an accessory. With wide eyes, cute expressions and a friendly demeanor.
- Mutations and select breeds are larger and made through genetic tampering changing colors and slicing in attributes from other species.
- Av-Twa: White and icy blue able to blend into polar regions and survive. With blue eyes that have a membrane to protect from snow blindness reflecting off the ice.
- Av-Ca: White and yellow with black eyes, there are tiny spines that can be raised and even ejected from the body at a moderate speed for personal defense.
- Av-Qu: Aquatic gills and blue skin that is slippery. With darker colors and white frills around its neck. Fins for moving through the water.
- Av-Ty: Green and yellow with pointed ears and brown or green eyes. They are for outdoor camping and glamping socialities who want to show off their pets.
- Av-Be: Fluffy maned with golden hair, red skin and flame blisters on them allowing them to absorb heat and be on worlds where fire and heat are more present.

- Religion/Beliefs: The Av are a cute pet for little children to have to a great pet to give your wife if she wants something but you don't want to commit. They even have small sweaters and booties to be used as a fashion statements. With many advances in genetic reseach the bioengineering aspects of the pets have seen more variants created through demand and sold off for various purposes. Among the rich nobles of the Asobi system it was a big thing and preserving these new species was important as they were taken to Atrisia and Ahch-To to save them and re-populate.
- General behavior: Very simple creatures who cluster together, they are pets for other people and learn... somewhat.. Not going to the bathroom on the carpet is easy enough and knowing what is good to eat and what isn't. They aren't smart they just learn simply that things are good or bad and love rewards. With new bioengineering techniques many of the genetic variants that have been created have changed and taken on lives of their own. Being made as more status symbols to the rich they are rarely found in the wild though they can be used in those locations. With diets that are carefully controlled and many works being done to ensure their behavior is loyal to their masters once they have imprinted upon them.
A small creature that has been raised by the people of the Asobi system to be small then its wild cousin.. mini sized from lack of nutrient rich food it instead eats small things and specially made food cubes created specifically for them. The Av themselves are... to domesticated to do many things, their small bodies and cuddly personalities designed to be loved by children and make anyone feel good. They are usually enjoyed by little children as a constant companion and with easy enough training they can be inside house pets.
With many improvements to their designing and breeding program... variants were able to be made, different strains and mutations that could fit different scenarios. The designs were for anything from show pets who moved around courses and were judged for their coats and training. To loyal hunting and protectors, rich and fancy ones made o be shown off for status. Caretakers that protect children and even elemental ones for water based species. Some for their jedi protectors in the form of temple guard creatures that could bond with and give saber crystals that would develop in the center of their head.
The attacks on the Asobi system didn't deter many of the development just moved it off world so that the species could spread and be sold to new markets... a chance to better improve their profits. The newly designed markets were something welcome to them as new variants were brought off of the line with their accelerated aging and breeding to make viable strains of the Av-Ra that would become stronger and a chance for more to be made in the future.
