    Although the Aurek Pattern Armor Suit possesses inherent weaknesses, there is no major flaw in its design to be concerned about, allowing it to be an effective choice in a wide variety of biomes and situations.

    As a staple armor system, the Aurek Pattern does what it does very well; which is to protect the wearer from common conventional damage types likely seen on the battlefield. Energy, Kinetic, Lightsaber, and even Heat-based sources of damage are well within the design parameters of this set.

Among its defining qualities is an above average resistance to not only energy and kinetic damage, but lightsaber energy as well. While it is not impervious to such damage, the materials used to grant it such properties are adequate to improve a soldier’s survivability; long enough to make a difference.
