    • Versitile
Although the Aurek Pattern Armor Suit possesses inherent weaknesses, there is no major flaw in its design to be concerned about, allowing it to be an effective choice in a wide variety of biomes and situations.
    • Conventional Protection
As a staple armor system, the Aurek Pattern does what it does very well; which is to protect the wearer from common conventional damage types likely seen on the battlefield. Energy, Kinetic, Lightsaber, and even Heat-based sources of damage are well within the design parameters of this set.
    • Tactical Armor
The Aurek Pattern Armor Suit has several notable strengths and special features that grant this armor a tremendous level of field utility and modification potential, including an advanced sensor suite and tactical HUD system.

    • Standard Issue
Even though this armor possesses notable upgrades compared to Stormtrooper variants of the past, when it comes to the protection it provides, it is still considered a ‘generalist’ armor set. Despite notable strengths in its resistance profile, it does not shine in any major way, and could be found lacking where more specialised armor systems would excel far & beyond its design.
    • Upkeep
First Order regulations require Stormtroopers to regularly clean and maintain their armor. While this requirement instills discipline within the corps, it is also a matter of necessity. The protective coatings of the suit mitigate the effect environmental corrosion would have on it, yet prolonged exposure to such elements without regular cleaning and maintenance could cause the external plating to degrade, and therefore compromise its overall protective properties.
    • Conspicuous
While camouflage can help with concealment in the woods and tundras of the Galaxy, attempts to alter its appearance fully will only go so far. The Aurek Pattern Stormtrooper Armor is not only noticeable - but well known to be the default armor style of Imperial-aligned factions. It is impossible to “blend in” once visual contact has been established
    descr.png

For centuries, Stormtroopers have been a visible symbol of Imperial authority; almost as synonymous as Star Destroyers. For such a vaunted and elite body of soldiers, a formidable yet economical armor system is required. The Aurek Pattern Stormtrooper Armor suit is the First Order’s variant, which provides a well balanced resistance profile, along with a robust special systems package to provide tactical flexibility to its troopers.

The Aurek Pattern serves as the baseline for other, more specialized variants; purpose built as such with its plethora of hardpoints and canvas-white surface for easy marking. Among its defining qualities is an above average resistance to not only energy and kinetic damage, but lightsaber energy as well. While it is not impervious to such damage, the materials used to grant it such properties are adequate to improve a soldier’s survivability; long enough to make a difference.
