Allowing the biots itself to become one of the primary defensive measures of Atrisia and the Commonwealth in general. In many cases the emplacement biot doesn't replace a shield projector instead adding to the layering of it and having its own defensive measures to protect itself. With subcomb power cells in its pack allowing it to project a planetary shield over an area as needed in sectional layers or a forward facing wall shield letting forces advance. Atrisia's information from the battle of Jar'kai where their multiple redundant shield projectors aided them only saw an increased deployment and use. Having a tertiary backup to the back ups that is able to function in the event all of their power grids are somehow taken down serves them well.
