Designed by the atrisian commonwealth as an advancement of their biot turrets, biot soldiers and advanced weapons designs. A facility baased, street level equalizer was the next step. Where their turrets wouldn't be able to properly target the need for a heavy hitting biot that moves around and subdues threats was important. It would also allow them to have on ships without the risk of shots fired and decompression. The melee focused design and lack of an Iota means the biots instead uses its systems to charge heavy shockwave generators to smash through riots, greater threats and approaching armies.
