To all of you here in our little community,
Another year over, a new one on the horizon. Blimey, 2014 sure has had plenty of ups and downs, good and bad times for us all I am sure.
I joined the site in March, and 9 months later can say I’ve loved every day of it; discovering enjoyment as a writer, meet some truly wonderful people and being involved in lots of adventures across the way with you all I’ve written with, and yet to write with I hope!
But this isn’t about me. This is a little message to all of you. Some may finish work / school today, the 19th for an extended holiday, others will have a few days ahead, so I'm doing this today as the world slows down a little more heading to the New Year.
Thank you for making Chaos as fun, dramatic, exciting and unpredictable as ever. It’s been hard, with lots of changes, opinions and drama along the way but it’s all been part of the fun and your individual personalities make this site special, so thank YOU all for your time, your effort, your passion and support to Tef (our Star Lord), all the Staff and your fellow writers to make this place…awesome.
If you’ve been here for years or just literally days, it doesn’t matter. You each play a part in how everyone else progresses with your unique skills and interpretations in the vast Star Wars galaxy we write in, and I’m glad there is such passion and creativity out there that is evidently growing and growing.
Wherever you are in the world, I am sure you have been touched at some point by some of the sadness we’ve experienced, and for that I hope you, your family and friends are safe and well, and your wave away the negatives of 2014 to embrace a, hopefully, happier and hopeful 2015. The good thing is, no matter where we are, we’ve all got this place to come back to for support and escapism.
And so, regardless of your race, religion, sex, creed, age – it doesn’t matter. You may be celebrating Christmas, you may not – what matters at this time of year is a general feeling of unity and hope for the future. It is time to rest, relax and have fun. Spend time with friends and family. Forget any troubles or worries that have held you back. We’ve all said and done things we regret and wish we could take back, but that’s what makes us human I guess; learn from our mistakes, and move forward a better person / community – it’s time for a clean slate; a fresh start; a new chapter. And we are all here to see it through!
I’m not speaking on behalf of anyone, this is just something that has come from me, a little old writer from the UK who has made some great true friends here and enjoyed being here daily amongst a community full of writers who themselves could be characters with some quirky and unique personalities (naming no names!). I love you all for who you are and keep up just what you do here more so in 2015.

Making the stories we all love,
Where we laugh, we cry, we cheer!
But now you’re ready to party,
Set on having a wonderful time.
Singing and dancing and having a ball,
As the New Year bells will soon chime.
So thank you for everything you have done,
Now, it's time to have some fun.
You're wonderful writers, this is so true,
I’m proud to know each and every one of you.
You made 2014 wonderful, you little elves,
So may 2015 be happy too for yourselves.
You are the very epitome of Chaos past, present and future. Let’s raise our Blue Milk / Corellian Ale / Jawa Juice / Blood Of Your Enemy in a toast to the site, the community and the future – it is what you make it!
