TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: GreatSaber
  • Size: Very Large
  • Weight: Very Heavy
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Enchanted Blade: The lightsaber has been enchanted with a modification of Force Breach, actively denying use of the Force in close proximity to the blade.
  • Shaping Matrix: The Blade has a unique framework and containment field, causing the blade to hold the shape of a traditional sword far closer than a lightsaber normally would.
  • Weight: Unlike a typical lightsaber, this blade carries an unusual weight to it, feeling more akin to a traditional sword, while still maintaining the gyroscopic effect of a Lightsaber blade.
  • Crossguard: The blade features a crossguard of Beskar to defend the hands/arms of the wielder.
  • Large: The blade is meant to be wielded by an above-average sized lifeform, and two-handed at that.
  • Fear Effect: The blade was forged in the midst of a Force Nexus, and carries the after effects of its power. The blade can instill a brief sense of fear or terror in observers, up to and including induced hallucinations, but this rarely benefits the wielder in combat, and is often written off by non-sensitives as overactive imaginations.
STRENGTHS
  • Ghost Killer: The Blade's enchantment makes it especially potent at destroying Force Entities, or at least dispelling their forms.
  • Lightsaber: Naya is still, at the end of the day, a Lightsaber. An especially large, especially deadly lightsaber.
  • Beskar Hilt: The hilt is nearly impervious to stray cuts or slices owing to its Beskar composition.
  • Force Power Deterrent: Owing to the blade's enchantment, the blade itself is capable of disrupting, blocking, or dispelling Force Powers. Use with caution as results may vary.
WEAKNESSES
  • Force Power Deterrent: The blade's Force nullification effect will also dampen the wielder's ability to use the Force while active. This, however, does not apply in hostile force suppression bubbles as the blade's own ability to suppress force powers will be overridden. This includes the ability to telekinetically control the blade if thrown, or to maintain pressure on the activation switch if one's grip is lost.
  • Big and Tall: The blade is extremely large, and extremely heavy compared to the average lightsaber. Those inadequately sized and strengthed will find wielding this blade difficult.
  • Cutting Difficulties: As typical with Lightsabers, certain substances can block, deter, or disable the blade. Owing to the lack of the correct circuitry, this includes submersion in water.
DESCRIPTION
Forged in the fires of a fallen world, Asminys iw Naya was created with a singular purpose: To kill a god. In the wake of the destruction of Vylmira, her lone survivor and stalwart avenger turned to the darker magics known to Jedi and Sith to create a blade capable of killing an embodiment of death itself. A truly fearsome blade, Naya is both a fully functional lightsaber and dispelling tool. Imbued with the ability to disrupt the Force, the blade is unparalleled in destroying, dispelling, or otherwise banishing the denizens of the Netherworld. As a side effect of its creation, the blade can also block, dispel, or disrupt most Force Powers. This functionality comes at the extreme cost of the wielder being unable to use the Force effectively while wielding the blade. Though some would argue this is a small price to pay in order to wield the destructive force of the blade.

Those that have been in the presence of the blade report hearing whispers of disembodied voices, feeling unexplainable twinges of fear, or even claiming to see things that were not actually there. Often discredited as overactive imaginations, the blade's origins from the depths of the Dread Palace on Oricon lend some doubt to the validity of the blade's harmlessness. Some Force Sensitives, while strong enough to resist the lingering effects of the blade, can certainly discern a presence of dark housed deep within the blade. It was forged in anger, crafted by revenge, and fueled by murderous intent. Those familiar with the power of a Dread Lord can easily see the lingering fingerprints of such beings in the creation of this blade. Or perhaps that's just the vestiges of the Afterlife, upset that someone would try to kill that which is technically already dead...
