- Low power deflector shields will prevent light blaster weapons and small slugs allowing the droid to essentially ignore them, but it is quickly overwhelmed by larger caliber weapons.
- Advanced Combat programming and machine learning algorithms - the droid has top of the range combat engine and is a fast learner, being able to exceed its initial programming by learning and reacting the enemies during combat.

- Lack of sentient intuition - like all droids, it stuggles to be creative and respond well to unusual situations, its complex logic systems help, but it is still at a tactical disadvantage to sentient combatants.
- Extremely expensive - both the hard and software is expensive making it a costly package. This limits its deployment to very small numbers.
- A lot of equipment on one wrist - the armoured wrist unit contains a secondary power generator, the light saber emitter and the blaster pistol, loss of this unit will immediately diminish the droids combat capabilites significantly.
- Limited saber mobility - the droid is fast, but its saber is in a fixed position across the top of its arm. This prevents it from performing certain delicate and precise saber techniques that would be possible for a wielder using their hand.
These droids were commissioned by Isla Draellix as a response to a series of boarding events. Using her contacts and resources, she pulled together experts in a number of relevant fields and created a powerful and intelligent battle droids.
They don't have the numbers or damage output to be used as offensive units but in a defensive role to protect high value individuals they are excellent. From their light shields that can protect against minor attacks, perfect for situations such as civilian riots, allowing them to remain safe whilst staying passive, all the way to their artificial kyber crystals powered light sabers.
Appearance is very important, so Isla ensured the red crystal blades were recoloured gold in keeping with Ashlan iconography.
Their combat systems are incredible and they dual almost as well as a sentient, only lacking the intuition and ability to adapt as their weakness. They have machine learning algorithms and have been trained in most common saber techniques to allow them to defend against any other saber users that may attack. One on one they will provide a delay for their ward to escape, but in numbers they are a deadly foe even for force users.
