THEME

War had come and gone for multiple times, Sith, Imperials and others had laid claim to the world that was so firmly associated with the first that it made a portion of its people not only uneasy but outright furious. They were their own people, strong and willful, not blind devotees to some near-immortal deities nor subjects to anyone but themselves. When war came again and the Eternal Empire fought against the Maw in their midst, they finally took fate into their own hands.

They would become known as the Gold-Blooded or Dragonborn among the Epicanthix. Inhabitants of the Western mountains and valleys, these houses and their followers were steadfast in their beliefs, strong in their determination and powerful in their faith. Under the leadership of Ra Agemman, known as The Warden, the Gold-Blooded had turned towards a more elemental and nature-bound faith generations earlier with the Storm and the Dragon as their allies in belief.

When the conflict was to spill into the system once more, the Lord-Imperatant of House Agemman, Leovic Agemman, offered a broadcast that echoed through the mountains as it reached into the heart and soul of those devote and loyal to their way of life. And even beyond that they heard and felt compelled to follow. With a fleet of ships ready to take them to the stars, the Gold-Blooded would leave Panatha to find a new home elsewhere, to start again away from the warring places of Known Space and live the life they desired.

After every Epicanthix felt the destruction of their homeworld, they had become exiles, refugees. They had become Exodites looking for a new home, a new sun to live below.

DESCRIPTION
For the Mithraic Civilisation the sun is not only the centerpoint of faith, but also a beacon of light and strength, an inspiration for philosophy and technology alike. Pragmatists at mind but passionate in mind, the arms industry has devoted itself to serve the Auramite Host, equipping both the Golden Company as well as the Dragon Guard.

The Solar Ionization Handgun, or Nova in short, is one of the triarchy of standard weapons for both organisations. The average handgun is both simplistic in design, durable and powerful, offering a balance for most tastes. Designed to work as the off-hand weapon or even as a melee weapon, it can deliver the typical three intensities the Solar Ionization weapons are known for. Ideal for officers, agents or simply as backup, it is a solid cornerstone of ranged weaponry and pistol technology for the people of Mithras.

    • Flare: A charged ion eruption at the target with an area of effect of ~1 meter, very low energy damage, moderate radiation, decent probability to bypass basic shields. Slow rate of fire.
    • Sol: Standard Setting. Charged Solar Ionization with small ion eruption (only effect on target), high energy damage, moderate radiation, average probability to bypass basic shields. Average rate of fire.
    • Nova: Overcharged setting with small ion eruption (only effect on target), very high energy damage, high radiation and low probability to bypass strong shields. Very slow rate of fire.

MAH/AC-01 "Argens" Solar Ionization Caliver

DESCRIPTION
For the Mithraic Civilisation the sun is not only the centerpoint of faith, but also a beacon of light and strength, an inspiration for philosophy and technology alike. Pragmatists at mind but passionate in mind, the arms industry has devoted itself to serve the Auramite Host, equipping both the Golden Company as well as the Dragon Guard.

The Caliver is the standard issue assault carbine for the Golden Company and issued to every Solar Legionary together with their armor, Gladius, Hoplon and Lorica. A more than capable weapon for a multitude of tasks, it is as versatile as it is sturdy. Taking on droids or organics, it offers the characteristic settings of intensity that make the Mithraic Solar Ionization weapons so unique and desired.

MAH/HR-01 "Fragor" Solar Ionization Culverine

DESCRIPTION
For the Mithraic Civilisation the sun is not only the centerpoint of faith, but also a beacon of light and strength, an inspiration for philosophy and technology alike. Pragmatists at mind but passionate in mind, the arms industry has devoted itself to serve the Auramite Host, equipping both the Golden Company as well as the Dragon Guard.

Among the triarchy of standard issue weapons, the Culverine is the big, heavy support weapon. A repeater version of the Caliver, it offers a much higher rate of fire in exchange for weighing considerably more and requiring a permanent source of energy to power it, usually in form of a backpack. Its users are known to be rather trigger-happy and have a reputation for destruction.

    • Flare: A charged ion eruption at the target with an area of effect of ~4 meters, low energy damage, moderate radiation, decent probability to bypass basic shields. Average rate of fire.
    • Sol: Standard Setting. Charged Solar Ionization with medium ion eruption (effect radius ~ 2 meters), high energy damage, moderate radiation, very high probability to bypass basic shields. High rate of fire.
    • Nova: Overcharged setting with small ion eruption (only effect on target), very high energy damage, high radiation and high probability to bypass strong shields. Average rate of fire.

MAH/MW-01 "Gladius" Short Sword

DESCRIPTION
Just as for their Thyrsian forebearers and Epicanthix ancestors, the Mithraic people are passionate and devoted to the art of melee combat. Known for a ferocity combined with iron discipline, they are truly terrifying melee opponents. Be it Golden Company or Dragon Guard, both are renowned for the skilled blade champions.

For these champions the first weapon usually is the Gladius, a short sword with a leaf-shaped blade ideal for fighting with a shield and in close quarters. A simple design with a lot of potential for customisation, all still follow the similar layout and size. Paired with modern technology and forging, these swords are a potent weapon in the hands of trained soldiers.
