DESCRIPTION

Equipped with a vast array of Anti-Starfighter Weaponry along with holding a considerable amount of Starfighter Squadrons for it's size , the Ascendant-Class Pocket Star Destroyer was developed as part of Grand Overseer Marlon Sularen's Project Warmonger , an initiative taken by Sularen to expand the Final Dawn's Military in preparation for the imminent Mawite Invasion of the Core Worlds. Designed as a Hybrid Support Ship and Patrol Ship , the Ascendant-Class Pocket Star Destroyer is a perfect vessel to be utilized as a Support Ship for Larger Final Dawn/Mawite Warship as well as to provide standard Anti-Piracy Operations and to be utilized as a means to counter-act hit-and-run strikes against enemy forces However despite this , the Ascendant is still heavily vulnerable to EMP/Ion Weaponry while also having an exposed bridge that could be an easy target for enemy Starfighters. Nevertheless , the Ascendant-Class has yet to be tested on the Battlefield and it is expected that it will prove to be the Support the Final Dawn truly needs as a means to boost their war effort and strengthen them against the Galactic Alliance and it's numerous other enemies
