Ascendancy Over What Remains (OS Dominion of Crina)

Javos held the weapons calmly as he walked slowly towards 404 and the sith, ignoring the sleeping cat who he probably could've killed during the brawl. The trooper held the pistol in his right hand pointing up for quick aim if he needed it. The fight seemed hopeless to go at but giving... was not, an order. Trooper 403 knew he'd have regrets if he died today but he knew they wouldn't be fighting for the empire.

By the time he got close enough, about five feet, 404 just threw the sith at a pillar. He kept his emotion at minimum to focus better. The trooper aimed his weapon at the sith and began shooting while on one knee. It helped aim. The shots would be rapid and wouldn't require reloading for awhile. The grenades would be held still in his left hand as he kept firing to aid 404.

Theme: It'll leave you breathless, Or with a nasty scar

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDdJ2M3SV8E

‘Nice to meet you, where you been?
I could show you incredible things
Magic, madness, heaven, sin

So it's gonna be forever
Or it's gonna go down in flames
You can tell me when it's over
If the high was worth the pain

'Cause we're young and we're reckless
We'll take this way too far
It'll leave you breathless
Or with a nasty scar.’

She heard the Sith Lord’s words. One of them was to remain alive…which meant plenty of practice for Melori. She was not evil…she often said this…she was merely efficient.

She took no pleasure in killing per se, but she did take a great deal of delight in progressing her skills and testing herself. Fighting a worthy foe was always useful and their death was simply an extension of the fact they were weak. No more and no less.
There was no such thing as a harmless prisoner or an innocent in war. So she started to walk through the bodies and if anyone approached her, she’d simply dispatch them. Quickly, effortlessly and painlessly. But they’d be surely dead. Bullets zipped by her. Her Teräs Käsi knowledge gave her an edge even without the Force. Her reflexes were inhuman, he speed a blur to those not gifted with the Force. In one sense she appeared to glide through the battlefield, never breaking stride, no wild movement. She was serenity itself – even if that were a dirty word to her.

Finally she tired of ending the lives of the weak and pathetic. “Show yourself,” she called. “Surely there is someone that is worthy of facing me?”

So she stood, defiantly, waiting. As she did, her right hand moved away from her side. Red faux lightning arced from her finger-tips and connected with a trooper lying apparently dead on the floor, but from his twitching, he still had life left in him. Well…he did. Melori drained him of his essence and topped up her reservoirs as she did. But her eyes still scanned the square, willing someone to challenge her.

Someone...anyone...

Kyle saw the trooper fall before the Force warrior - the Sith [member="Darth Ferus"] - and he was ready to move out but another trooper came into play - Javos Infored - to start his retaliation. From his time with Commander Temi, Kyle was told to protect the Sith relations with their unit, and so this meant not all those bearing the armour of the Imperials were on the same side.

Raising his E11, Kyle scrabbled forward over a number of small craters and fired a warning shot to the ground before the trooper and aimed the rifle, his body turned.

"Trooper hold your fire and lay your weapons down or I'll take your head!"

The imperial trooper had already started firing, he glanced over at the other stormtrooper and stopped firing. The enemy held a standard rifle that the storm corps used. It wasn't intimidating but he knew ceasing fire at the sith would give 404 a little more time to recover.

Javos swore he wouldn't be taken capture in this mission. His left hand slowly tapped on one of the grenade's button. Javos quit firing as he stood up in no particular way. He turned and held his pistol at the other trooper. "Go ahead boy, shoot me. I'll promise you this sith won't survive." he said analyzing the soldier.

Glancing between the Sith and the trooper, Kail kept his rifle up. He watched the trooper indicate his personal weaponry – one of those who would near give his life for a greater cause. Admirable, but something Kyle didn’t want to witness.

"Listen, I’m flesh and blood as you are, I don’t care for the grand scheme of what the Commanders are fighting for – I’m just carrying out order. I don’t want to shoot but I will if you pull that. Just come quietly and I’ll oversee you’re not harmed."

His voice rang out in that audible synthetic quality from the helmet’s mouth grill as all troopers’ did.

Kyle slowly began to side-step towards the Sith, even though he wasn’t sure how those Force warriors saw simple cannon fodder as he.

There was a small gasp of surprise as Rick lifted him from the floor. He hadn't expected anyone save for a Force user or a wookie to be able to lift and throw him, and as he soared towards the pillar he lost his grip on his spear. The weapon clattered towards the ground, and with a loud smack the red man would slam against the intended wall. While he hit this wall he could see past the target to the second stormtrooper Javos, and the blaster pointed at him.

Wide golden eyes stared as the blasts came at him. For once, the Sith had been pushed back into a corner. Both hands came up in front of himself as a barrier would form, catching the shots themselves. But it was a quick barrier, and after only a couple shots it would shatter, causing one of the bolts to burn through his right ear and another to slam into his left shoulder. A hollow roar filled the air as golden eyes turned darker, and red skin turned an almost pitch black. This roar, a Force bellow, would ring out, causing the force around the aspect of war swelled almost visibly. Rick would find this blast aimed to throw him back from the spiteful Sith, and as Kyle chatted with the stormtrooper the Zabrak would stand again.

His left arm was limp beside him, but his right came up, aimed for the one trooper that had shot him. Rage, hatred, pain, all of it fueled the red mans actions as he went to lift up Javos in a powerful grip.

It had been a while since Darth Ferus had used telekenisis as he was, but slowly he would clench his hand into a fist, aiming to literally crush Javos.

It was over, with a huge blast the trooper may have taken the sith down, but so was he. The damned force, flying in mid air he knew their was no simple way out of this, he'd lost to much blood. Hitting the back of his head it was over, all he could see was pure darkness, unconscious and with no response, his resistance was over. The only reason he was not dead, was because of the troopers helmet, while he would definitely have a concussion, there was no other damage received. If he was to die, at least it was not in vain, perhaps one day he would escape, who in the hell knows. Would he die today? That was the main question, the elite storm commando was down, Rick was bleeding immensely out, now that the adrenaline was starting to fade, he would die soon, if someone were to not save him.

Javos was horrified seeing his ally and brother get blasted by the sith. But what next happened was the most pain the trooper had ever been in. As Javos was lifted up forcefully, he dropped all weapons except for a single grenade as his body crushed. The pain was just what he'd expect from a force user.

He soon was struggling to breathe after a couple seconds of being gripped. The trooper knew it was over.. his only hope would be pressing down the button on the grenade. Yes, he'd probably kill himself instead of the sith or possibly kill 404 if he didn't die by then. He abandoned the idea, Rick might have a chance at survival.

Javos kept holding the grenade nevertheless. Enduring the fatal pain was all he could do. It was his time to shed the blood like the other commandos.

Ferus growled under his breath as the trooper seemed unable to break free. Without any other warning, he would bring his fist down, and unless stopped Javos would find his body crushed into a ball. If this worked, the red man would turn towards the one known as Rick, crouching down beside his unconscious body. Gripping his injured shoulder, he would turn his head and nod once to one of the OS troopers.

"Take him in."

Darth Kentarch's attempt to slay the king outright was blocked by two more royal guardsmen. While one intercepted his blade, Kentarch sent the other flying back with a push of the of the force. Again the Sith Lord pushed out with a telekinetic attack at the ceiling, causing more stones and rubble falling down on the soldiers, which would cause the king only to strain even more. Before the king's royal guard could renew an assault against him, they were intercepted by Kentarch's fellow Sith Knights. Two which were members of the assassin's, trained in force detection techniques, had found and engaged the court practitioners. There was nothing between Kentarch and the king now.

"Ten years? You'll never be a skilled as me at blade work. And your mind will never be able to comprehend what I'm about to do you." The Sith Lord's voice was ominous, and he stepped one pace closer to the king as he spoke. Kentarch raised his palm of his left hand to face the Crina. His body seemed to seethe and boil in dark side energy as he stood there, absorbing the emotions from battle into his very core. While no doubt the guards and court practitioners would intercede, they were engaged with other Sith and lacked the skill to block such a powerful attack.

Then it happened, his arm and body like a conduit, Kentarch discharged the dark side energy from the his left hand. Force Destruction, the blast of energy appeared as black fire as it lanced out from the Sith's arm towards the King of Crina. The ground buckled around Kentarch as the wave of energy fired from his hand, several guards tried to jump in the way of the blast. Their efforts were futile, they were either thrown asunder from the sheer force of the blast or vaporized into nothing. Even if the King could form a defense, walking away unscathed was unlikely.

THe King of Crina could feel the force being directed at him, his face turned into a scowl as the Sith put more burden upon him causing more of the area to buckle and collapse, forcing him to hold the rubble aloft under greater strain. However, that was not what concerned him, it was the darkness he could feel being pulled together as other Sith began to intercept the Royal Guard, others going for the Court Practitioners providing him with active barriers. Oliver Dorian Calvarona stared at the Sith with fatigue and fury his death was apparently being so nonchalantly assigned in such a manner. Watching several Guards throw themselves in the path to block the attack, the Crinan King's scowl turned into an expression of seething hatred for such a blatantly wicked ability.

That fury gave the base for a motivation to fight on, the King struggling to throw the debris he was holding up so that he could fight back. Yet it was not in his strength to do so, not alone. His Court Practitioners knew their duty well though, using the time their assigned guards could buy them to lend their owns strength to the King's own. Thus allowing the Ruler of Crina to budge the stonework he was burdened with, heaving it at the Sith and his own destructive attack, and allowing him to throw himself to the side if he the rubble did not deter the force attack, if he could even get ouf of the way if it failed.

"I respect a man who refuses to die." Darth Kentarch said watching as the king rolled out of way of the devastating attack. The Force Destruction had caused the debris the king tossed at him to be blown aside. The court practitioners had done their job well, so well it costed them their lives. Focused on saving their king the Sith Assassins gained the upper hand in combat, each taken down once and for all. Most of the royal guards were now dead, killed in the devastating assault unleashed. "Your running out men. Your path of retreat cut off." He spoke, then his hand giving a wave, sending another guard flying off his feet and smashing into a column.

His hand reached out in a grip. He may not be able to get through the armor, but he could choke the man outright. He put pressure on the king's throat, attempting to crush it outright. "You can't escape the mark placed upon you." The Sith Lord remarked.

The Sith at least helped take care of the problem of debris at the very least, though the King did acknowledge the number of Royal Guard in the immediate vicinity had indeed been reduced, and whether others would come or not was up for debate due to the size of the Palace and the organized retreat the forces within the building were trying to effect. Still, those that were around were all excellent soldiers, with weapons and armor to make them a threat to the Sith Assassins assuredly, and even the regular soldiers of Crina had armor with shields, gaurding them from the first slash or two from a saber perhaps. Oliver Calvarona would not admit defeat yet.

Not even has the invisible force wielded by the Sith targeting him wrapped itself around his throat, leaving the King of the invaded world short of breathe as he tried to focus on how to fight. He was exhausted, and he had felt his Practitioners' death, knowing their defenses they lent him would not be forthcoming this time. Feeling himself begin to choke, the man holding the title of King would smirk, wishing the Sith could see it, as he drew upon the force, what his world called something else entirely for all its diverted path in its teachings, and ignited a spark, lighting the Sith's robes on fire at the hem, though it would soon spread and likely hurt where it touched skin. Struggling for breathe the King winced as the dizziness crept in, determined to fight this off and die properly with weapon in hand. If flame was not enough then with some of the last of his strength a dropped energy blade from one of the dead Royal guard would leap through the air and ignite as it steered toward his adversary.
