Intent: To create the next generation in anti-slicer droids.
Development Thread: if needed
Manufacturer: Metal Man Industrialized (MMI)
Model: A-SU Mk-1 (anti-slicer Unit mark 1)
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: Moderate; the civilian model is cheaper and less advanced. The military model costs three times more. Color is also changable.
Production: Mass-Produced.

Material: Droid parts. Plasteel

Classification: second degree
Weight: 30 kilogram
Height: 1.3 meters
Movement: Repulsorlift (slow. 60 ft a minute max.)
Armaments: none
Misc. Equipment:
--Electromagnetic-scale Sensors
--Computer interface ports (one for each common access terminal)
--Heustic processor
--Low-quality vocabulator

Description:

Strengths:
++Expert anti-slicer
++Advanced knowledge of computers

Weaknesses:
--Highly fragile
--No combat experience (in a firefight, this thing is basically the first to go)
--Pretty slow
--tempermental to temperature. Doesn't do good in tempatures over 90 Celsius or under 10 C. General failure ensues at temperatures over 100 C and under 0 C.
--Bad in air-borne issues. Sand, dirt, snow, and the like cause issues for this droid quite quickly.

Personality:
Humorless, lame and the definition of a geek, this droid is pretty much lacking in personality. The vocabutor it possesses is quite basic and lacking, but that doesn't stop it from rambling for hours about firewall processes and other things that no one frankly cares about.

Their sense of humor (if a droid can have one) is about as flavorless as vanilla. They are as interesting as drying paint and generally speaking, studied show 9/10 beings would rather watch grass grow then talk to these things. There's a reason they are generally kept in computer terminals and not kept around as pets.

Development:
James once again set about giving orders. Make a droid, he said that can counter most all slicers. In addition he wanted them to be affordable to the common businesses.

The result was a droid that had almost no personality, a severe hopelessness outside of its element and a strongly one trick pony. Designed to be purchased by governments to protect sensitive data, businesses to protect their private databases, and for James to make money, this droid is pretty good at what it does for the price. However, when out of its elements it's as hopeless as Jar-Jar in Mando country.

Primary Source: none.
