Artesia is a petite girl standing at 157cms with a slightly muscular build, chocolate brown eyes, long dark brown hair and tanned skin. Her body is scarred from years of abuse at the hands of the orphanage staff as well as a few while on the job.

Artesia was born to a pair of loving parents who she did not have a chance remember as they were murdered before she was even a year old during a trip to visit family on her mother's side. The happy family of three were travelling together on a shuttle when it was attacked by pirates, stealing anything valuable aboard the ship, slaughtering the men and enslaving the women and children. Her father was murdered with the men and her mother was made an example of when she refused to be seperated from her baby.
Not long after being abducted by pirates, Artesia was sold to a wealthy family who were unable to produce a child of her own and was given the name 'Artesia.' During her life with them, the young girl was spoilt and doted on by both of her parents. However, this happiness did not last, when Arteisa was 8 years old, by some miracle, her adoptive mother fell pregnant and was soon discarded into an orpahnage on a different planet.
At the orphanage, Arteisa and the other children were victims of constant abuse by the staff who did as thay pleased to the children because of this, Artesia chose to become mute so that the staff could not derive extra pleasure from her cries and screams. Eventually, she even developed dissociative identity disorder in a further attempt to protect herself from the physical and emotional abuse.

After suffering years of abuse, Artesia finally ran away from the orphanage to live in the slums and make money any way she was able to. She was on the streets for a year and a half before she met a kind Mandalorian bounty hunter who saw something in her and took the teenager in to mentor and love as if Artesia was her flesh and blood daughter. Once the girl was old enough, she was enrolled to train at a survival school on Vendaxa. Upon completion of her education there, she spent a few years bounty hunting along side her mentor and surrogate mother but as usual, that happiness did not last as the woman was killed while hunting a violent criminal.
Once again, Artesia was alone however, during one of her mercenary missions, she formed a beneficial relationship with the Clan Vereen and eventually became a member of the clan. As a gesture of her gratitude, she changed her surname to 'Verneen' to reflect her membership and help her leave behind her past.

(+) Advanced combat training – Artesia was trained at a survival school in Vendaxa and had been taught several different forms of combat including combat with blasters, swords and her speciality, hand to hand combat.
(+) Survivalist – Artesia learnt about the art of survival during her time at the school. Artesia honed her skills building on what she has learnt. She is able to survive in a variety of different terrains, build shelter, track and hunt animals as well as scavenge for food and filter water as well as craft items out of things she find.
(+) Agile – Due to her training at combat school, she has become agile allowing her to escape some difficult situations easily.
(-) Selective Mutism – Artesia has chosen to be mute as a result of her experiences when she lived with her aunt and uncle after her mother’s death. Instead of speaking, she communicates through drawing and writing on her DataPad.
(-) Impulsive – Artesia often does not think before she acts and often acts on her gut instincts.
(-) Dissociative Identity Disorder - As a result of the abuse she suffered while living in an orphanage, Artesia developed dissociative identity disorder in an attempt to protect herself during this time. Her other personality known as X is violent and unpredictable.
