Armor Up! [DEV THREAD]

Circe inspected the scar carefully. She was almost tempted to run a finger over it, but chose not to - her daughter had suffered enough at the hands of whatever wretched tyrant had inflicted such torment to an innocent little girl who had done nothing to deserve their wrath. A soft sigh elicited from her lips as she looked it over. "It hasn't healed properly..." She eyed the former wound over, looking at it carefully.

"Even if I heal it, the mark will still be visible. This is an especially grievous slash you suffered."

Kara did not say a word, not least because to do so might reveal the true crux of the issue. Not only had this left her close to death several years before, it was also the final straw which had snapped her Mother into likewise trying to save her from the world. - Of course her idea of that was to try and poison the little girl to put her out of her misery. It made her angry, and the rage boiled up inside of her. No more did it make her weak, now that it was out in the open, no she just felt the annoyance.

"It is causing no damage" she stated, trailing her hand up and down the subtle flesh. No other being would ever see this scar, or the others, she knew. But that did not mean she would have them removed.

Giving a soft nod of understanding, Circe handed Kara her shirt back. "Is this related to what your mother tried to do?" For such a significant incident, the would was quite significant. "I can feel your anger. Focus on it. Control it. Use it to subjugate your fear and place it under your direct control. Let yourself be filled with the potent tidings of your delectable Force potency."

Standing up, the Sith woman stepped over to another completed suit of Advanced Power Armor, putting it on. "Let your anger loose! Throw your fear away! You can't hurt me in this armor, so do what you feel you can do best."

The young girl pulled the shirt back over her body and knew it was the final time it would be exposed. With a small nod she used the anger to harness the Force and in turn began to wrap up the fear and ... Well, and do what she did best. Subjugation. She was no longer careful or delicate with her past, instead she bent it to her will and took complete control over it. Circe was right, this was hers to dominate and do with as she pleased. It would be a very powerful component to her Force-usage in the future, she would always have something to draw upon, something she felt passionate towards, which could spark up a large mixture of potent emotions.

The only problem came with what Circe suggested. Kara's forte lay within mental subjugation - not physical assaults. Perhaps that was something to be built upon in the future, considering her lack of physical strength or even well being. But the anger had risen and the Force had to be bent to her will, and so she did; a large blast of potent kinetic energy emitted from her core as the emotions bundled together and begged to be released. Yet this proved one thing to the little girl - she was capable of harnessing, storing and releasing her control as she wished.

The blast was something she... hadn't expected from Kara, no. She was intact, the armor had made sure, but it was something she certainly didn't plan on seeing. "Excellent job, Kara! You focused your frustrations into physical force. That's a wonderful step forward!" Taking the helmet off, the smile on Circe's face was quite visible as as she stepped towards her daughter. "You'll be as excellent a manipulatrix as I one day. The Sith who caused you so much trouble will suffer at your whims."

Stepping forward, she gave her daughter a soft embrace. "When our time here on Serpena is over, and if we meet again somewhere - be it the Sith, the Fringe, or even the Republic - I have much more to teach you."

It tired her to have released so much pent up emotion and energy, so after the short embrace she found herself stumbling back to a seat and settling down there. She would not be of much more use to Circe today, after all she was still but a child, yet all the same she nodded her head to her guardian's words. "Okay, Circe" she yawned, curling up on the seat she had been given. Part of her began to wonder just what would happen when she eventually left this region of space. There was no Master for her to return to, maybe not even an Empire willing to re-embrace her. The step she had taken when choosing Circe's ship had been far larger than anticipated... Just what would the future hold?
