DESCRIPTION

A double bladed sword that Ariadne asked Chi Chuchi to make her after her synthetic arm. While viewing options, Chi showed off her bodyguard’s Mooncutter Blades and Ariadne was impressed enough to say they were exactly what she had in mind.

Ariadne’s sword is a full-tang songsteel blade with guard for defense against lightsabers. The hilt and guard are coated with bronzium to dull them down and added styling. The fine leather of the Kodyok wraps the grip to ensure a comfortable and secure grasp in Ariadne’s metal hand, or a comfortable one in her other.

With an edge honed to a single molecule through laser-forging, the sword has no trouble cutting through softer materials, but against harder, an energy ribbon coats the sword to allow it to shred through metals and opponents alike. Ariadne can wield the sword with the ribbon deactivated as a normal sword, rendering it silent and without the tell-tale glow in situations where she needs stealth or after an ion attack has disabled powered weaponry.
