Private Argent Plane

Following the careful instructions of his father, Mykel navigated his starfighter through the the turbulence that had become the norm during hypertransit. While the Jedi Knight was well practiced in instinctive astrogation at this point, this was a journey like no other, involving travel just outside the galactic plane.

Not just outside, but above.

The advice of his father helped immensely, encouraging him feel out his destination instead of relying on abstract coordinates, the Silver Rest a great beacon in the Force. Indeed, as he tread farther from the galaxy, it became easier to perceive the Rest in his mind's eye.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of trials of juking and weaving, he was there, reverting before a great white megastructure suspended above the galaxy. Memories from his youth on Kashyyyk flooded back to him, recalling the renovated complex being raptured from the jungle world while his family and some other Silver Jedi remained. Now it was here intact in all its splendor, serving as a physical reminder of the former glory of the Silver Jedi Order.

While their influence may have waned, they were not gone. Hopefully here, Mykel would find much needed respite as the world he knew imploded.

The Silver Rest was a beautiful place, after they had extracted it from Kashyyyk the lake that was left in its place was filled with the automated fisheries allowing a massive repopulation of the oceans... and terraforming technologies that would aid the world in recovering if attacked because the jedi had been there. Now the massive solarite walls of it were filled with still padawans and species from galaxies that others never saw, the silver jedi weren't a dominant force in the galaxy... they had just expanded to cover more of the universe in general through the silver strands. They were finishing up the initial tests on the BATTLEMASTER Saber System AI as it was being constructed within the saber for the jedi knight.

"Initial tests are good, the physical strain is within parameters for safety." The voice came as Matsu looked at Kanja Offee the mirialian was one of the brighter Silver jedi minds... for their medical training and improvements. Her work on the High Plane of the Jedi did raise some questions as outside of the galaxy technically there were no ethical boards but she hadn't gone full mad scientists just yet... mostly she was an impressive mind keeping up and monitoring the conditions of their padawans. The ones who had come from Enasrrrkw and the shadow temple Caltin had made were there. THey were learning and improving as well as one who were being sent to places like the cosmic temple.

"Everything seems to be good with the system." Quatra spoke as she looked at Matsu with her eyes remaining on the AI on the projectors. "I think Mira Dejah will be happy." She said it as the zeltron was standing there going over the information. she looked up as Matsu raised an eyebrow but from the main labs of the Silver rest they had a massive view of the temple and all of its buildings... then the fields and trees that had been transported with it as they sat over the underground sections like the silver jedi crypts. SOmething made despite the ancient columbarium that housed tens of thousands of jedi ashes.

"I would be years ago, it makes for an interesting aid to the jedi now... we will be able to increase standardized combat effectiveness and skills as well as make sure they are equipped for any task... advancing their skills and ability to survive is key." SHe said it and Matsu was in her seat. There were more holograms as one of the biggest things she had done when she had been appointed and brought back to the silvers was bring back the various councils... one hundred and forty four jedi masters overseeing what was quickly becoming a universe spanning order. They had extra dimensional temples as well.. ones that were giving them a unique perspective on the force.

The jedi grandmaster remained where she was seated as more information and the finalization of the system came up. The high plane served another function as they welcomed dozens of ships looking to head out to the various companion galaxies. It served like a starting point as they could access the Ba'Land Class Research Structural array which used the force net... the physical connections between entire galaxies acting like a safe passage they could use to navigate. The ports were large and open for all of the vessels while the rest of them continued to work. She had been visiting the Hidden Path after all and helping them.

While the core of the reconstructed Silver Rest remained familiar to Mykel, it was clear that the structure had received a host of additions since its departure from Kashyyyk. The Silver Jedi always held a knack for technology and infrastructure, particularly during the tenure of the current Grandmaster.

:: Oooh, there's a lot going on in there! (◕ ᄋ ◕✿) ::

Upon reversion, Hecate had wirelessly probed the Silver Rest a bit for contact, finding a multitude of artificial intelligences and other constructs roaming the premises. She definitely wouldn't be bored here.

"Indeed," Mykel agreed, sensing the wealth of bodies through the Force. It was heartening to know there would always be a bastion of fellow Jedi around.

:: The traffic controller is saying we can land in port B3. I also took the liberty to ring the hosts and share your credentials. ::

"Perfect," Mykel replied as he guided the ship to the Silver Landing. During transit, he hadn't been in the best of moods, on the losing side of a new galactic war, but his spirits began to lift as he reentered his first home.

The message came with the old credentials. They didn't have them able to access security systems or important areas but it registered as Matsu turned to look at it. Her eyebrow going up when she moved from the seat... glad to at least get a small repreave from what they were doing for now. The jedi grandmaster going to the window as she reached out to search and find among the sea of force users wihtin the massive rest... and then from the large ports that they had. She found it as she was moving.. her senses of the smallest area mirroring before she came to be standing at the port itself with her silvery robes on.

A small group of padawans looking as the grandmaster appeared amng them. Her more ethereal visage to them was something they only glimpsed when they trained from the corner of their eyes. She looked and smiled towards them. "Micah, Allia, Chujo, Desmond." A small smile as they beamed at her remembering their names, a hand going to each as she pulled from their ears pieces of force candy with the edible kyber crystal. THey moved on as she looked at Kykel with a small look of curiosity and her eyes were more like black pools for a moment. "Welcome home padaawan." She said it moving forward and she didn't walk...

Hovering and gliding mere nanolengths above the ground as her body didn't disturb the air. Art of the small being used to vibrate and alter the movement of her body. The robes remaining still with the small breeze coming from the rest as the people moved around. She clapped her hands together with good humor for the moment. "I know much has changed and this is only the beginning."

Mykel dismounted from Amphrite as soon as he landed, taking time to stretch as he had been stuck in the cramped cockpit for a long time. Puck let out a whistle as he detached from the starfighter, the Dawson family astromech also wanting to stretch the proverbial legs, now zipping above Mykel's head as it took in the sights. A construction of a previous Silver Grandmaster, with perfect clarity the droid recalled the original layout of the Silver Landing and began to compare it with the new expansions it observed.

For her part, Hecate was content to remain in the cockpit of Amphrite, the mobile AI able to commune just fine in the immediate cyberspace wirelessly. Already she was engaged in hundreds of parallel conversations with resident AI, the conversation pool expanding exponentially with each passing moment.

On the deck, he found Grandmaster Matsu waiting for him, seemingly gliding across the floor like a maglev. The Jedi Knight approached her by foot, removing his helmet as he neared. As they came face to face, he offered a deep bow of respect. Puck settled just off to his right, beeping loudly in acknowledgement of their gracious host.

"Greetings, Grandmaster Matsu," he started after straightening up, "I'm Mykel Dawson, son of Finley and Sadira Dawson, hailing from the Silver enclave on Coruscul."

Now up close to the Grandmaster, he faintly recalled seeing the Atrisian in passing while a Youngling. She looked about much the same - in fact, exactly the same, seemingly untouched by time. Perhaps a testament to her immense aura he could feel radiating from her core, or just really good genes?!

He smiled as he glanced around at the long rows of other impressive craft within the hangar.

"Honestly, it's all just about new to me as I could barely walk before the time of the rapture. It's incredible how you're able to maintain your current position outside the galaxy. Has the Silver Rest been affected by the Planeshift at all, by the way?"

She thought about the names and recalled them with a nod of her head. The planesshift was something that a lot fo the galaxies face. "It has, not like other places. Being outside of the galaxies does help as less to worry about shifting in the way and we have given it powerful self repair systems." She said it with a small motion of a hand as the various AI's of the rest were giving information all around. The solarite stone gleaming silvery white with pulses of blue going through as the agena they had developed pumped through it. "We have continued to develop here and in other areas of the universe. Expansion, training and a numberr of new innovations have allowed us to adapt quicker then most to situations. We give it where we can but there is a lot in the galaxy who only want progress and help if they are doing it." She shrugged while moving and leading the way through the stone streets, more people walking around. The jedi and temple workers growing food, raising animals and maintaining what they could. Districts of the temple designed for training, housing and development as forges were at work with the sounds of Artisans and engineers.

Mykel nodded. "The Silver Rest does have a unique vantage point in this regard. Have you made any observations as to the origins of this phenomenon?"

Across the galaxy, scientists had little explanation for how the galaxy was being contorted, or more importantly why. It defied all established understanding of physics, even taking into account the paracausal effects of Force manipulation.

He shuddered to think that they at the whims of a higher force yet unknown, the galaxy once the playground of the Celestials and other cosmic entities.

While moving, he perceived the abundance of Force energy infused into the structures all around them, chiefly manifest in various crystalline constructs. His fighter and droid were similarly infused via attuned fabrications but the scale here was much more massive.

"It really is like a whole other world here," he noted as witnessed the bustling population. "Has it always been so peaceful since the relocation?"

"Since the relocation yes... truthfully not many think about going outside of the galaxy. An expedition, a probe a token effort sure... but mostly everyone thinks in terms of one place. It is why we haave been able to expand outwards and while the silver jedi might not hold vaast swaths of the galaxy under ourr protection... we are also able to meet and teach other species." She said it while moving through the streets into more open areas. The training for the padawans as they were organized into colored clans, the various emblems. Different robed jedi in different areas. "We have also been able to fully begin to organize the councils bringing a larger system of oversight compared to before but it also means we have areas that were neglected. We have been able to revive many of our older outrreach to force groups. Developed the chain gateways allowing travel between the temples and the uneti trees we have been able to augment into a network between the temples allowing knowledge to be held and passed along the temples."

"That's good. The Silver Rest was often the target of raids and invasions by Darksiders and other foes of the Silver Jedi."

When Matsu mentioned interreacting with extragalactic races, Mykel perked up, his yearning for exploration stirred by the implications. While his home galaxy was locked in several ongoing interstellar wars, there were whole civilizations beyond. Perhaps when the geopolitics of the galaxy finally stabilized again after centuries of the Dark Ages, could the galactic community look outward.

In their current state, the Silver Jedi enjoyed such space to embark upon great works, such as the gateways mentioned as Matsu.

"What is this network, exactly? Is it only for communication, or also transportation?"

"It is layered." She stopped moving in a small area and brought her hands outwards to explain. The force shimmering while she was weaving white current illusions in front of herself to make a projection. "FIrst we have each temple." She said it a the high plane appeared, from it below dozens of dots forms for the different temples and worlds.... then spread out as it went to other galaxies. "THen from each temple there is a uneti choushin tree. These have been augmented with the lightside to be central to each temple. A living heart if you will and each is connected to each other." The dots became connected each pulsing and sending a ripple.

"From there you have the arisen who care for each temple and commune among each other. They have a hive mind among themselves and understand each temple." The flicking dots gained several more and each one connected to each other and the temple. Looking like a pulse had synapses. "Then there is the network which allows travel between all of the temples through the layer of the universe called the unbeing." The various temples gained more connections becoming more like a web of pulsing temples in her hand. "It has created a level of organization within the silver jedi's temple network that hasn't been seen before."

She said it as it was being seen, improved and they were showing a few more parts of the temple. "WIth this connection we can trravel, communicate and coordinate across it all. Lessons is one thing, emergency evacuation another as well as coordinating where new temples would best be made." She held the illusion there in her hand for him to see with a nod of her head. "There is more, we have begun visiting force planes and establishing research and development outposts. It allows for a different perspective in cases that we are able to gain on the universe and all aspects of it." She was moving again towards the larger areas of the temple.

Matsu explained the operation of the network in full, revealing a sophisticated set up that not only supported seamless communication, but also transportation and effectively teleportation. He found it extremely impressive, scratching his chin with a gloved hand as he began to entertain the possibilities.

"Hmm, nothing is static in the galaxy, so no doubt this system requires a good deal of tracking for operation. Could this network support a more mobile node, like a roving praxeum? My enclave is more or less wandering on one since Coruscul has become occupied by the Imperials."

Access to the Silver Rest and the rest of the connected nodes could never truly replace their home on Coruscul, but in the short term this was a much better option than remaining moorless refugees in deep space. He was still too suspicious to settle anywhere in the Galactic Alliance until there were iron-clad assurances that they wouldn't be abandoned.

She grinned at that. "We have several mobile academies and a planet or three... one temple is built on Wandering Mountain which is never in the same place twice." She said it while moving and the large hall opened. Doors much larger then anything normally seen opening to reveal the multi leveled chamber as jedi milled around. Drones moving with reports, the sounds of people and more. Visitors had a place as well as the temples security and personnel but the largest thing was the figure seated in the central area. The towering tian sitting there as some were on platforms conversing and there were scans. "One of our discoveries, a Titan from beyond the veil as it were. Tied to myths from across the galaxy from the Aing-Tii in the rift to the chiss and all the way out to the gree and Kaminoans."

As they advanced deeper into the halls of the Silver Rest, Mykel continued to see a steady stream of Jedi and other denizens engaged with various activities or walking about. He couldn't remember seeing so many Jedi in one place since he had originally lived on Kashyyyk.

He knew there was a time the Silver Jedi could mount entire armies and fleets on their own as they presided over massive swaths of galaxy under their protective watch. It was a shame that all that had existed before his time. Already, he was growing tired of the bickering between the ever ballooning sects of Jedi. He wished for unity so that they may finally defeat the evil sweeping across the galaxy.

"Thank you, Grandmaster." He said with a small bow of his head. "I suppose our praxeum can dock near one of the nearest nodes and we can set about connecting our ship to the network. Also, on that matter, could we make use of your facilities to restore our fleet. Coruscul maintained a number of warships and medical cruisers from the Silver Fleet upon the dissolution of the Concord, but I'm afraid that certain proprietary tech within them had been difficult to maintain, which calls for a refresh."

While the mothballed fleet was significant in raw scope, the overall functionality of the aging ships was sorely lacking. Normally, Coruscul could have called upon KSA for assistance, but the Kiribians had their hands tied defending their own territory with much of their output severly limited by the Imperials occupying several worlds containing key production facilities.

"Sure though maintaining and repairing the ships doesn't need entire facilities. We have developed the rhion seeds. Portable nanite repair and upgrade systems that you can set to use on a ship. It allows many places to be highly mobile while not having to dock at the minimal shipyards." She said it while walking but showed a display of the areas to dock. "JUst have them dock and we can begin rrepairs. ANy technologies you want to have priority let the workers know and they will be abale to mark it to be repaired and maintained quickly. We can fill in the stores for you as well with food as we have been growing a lot of our supplies."

Mykel beamed at the offer. Self-repairing nanotechnology wasn't a foreign concept to him, but it was usually something only seen on new platforms boasting bleeding edge tech. The idea that it could be integrated into older vessels at scale would be a great boon to the joint fleet, providing them with a flexibility to stay in the fight even in the case of compromised infrastructure. An immortal fleet.

"Thank you again grandmaster. I will also relay this information to the Kiribians, as they have remained stalwart allies of the Jedi."

Coming to the Silver Rest, he wasn't sure what he could expect in aid, honestly grateful for whatever could be offered. Simple refuge from the strife below would have been enough, really. But with the flood of resources, so much could now be done.

His objective was complete, so he was more or less free to do whatever until his departure for the praxeum. The technopath's curiosity had been more than piqued with the tour thus far, and he was eager to explore for himself.

"Exploration, development, instruction. You seem to have your hands in a lot of pies. What's your favorite thing to do in this place?"

"I should say train or help the people but the best part is... the gardens. It is much more peaceful, subdued and isolated in some cases. ALlowing one to just be alone with their thoughts." SHe said it but offered the pathway through the temples main area as the large open area went into the hallways and various rooms. "We aalso have one of the nicer aspects of any temple. The temples cleaning system can maintain it which frees up workers and staff for operations in their own areas." Her movement continued forward though while roaming past rooms for testing the different equipment. "We also benefit out here from some experiments not endangering worlds."

"Ah, the gardens. That's one of the things that I miss about Kashhyyyk. We had a garden on Coruscul, but it wasn't quite as extravagant as what came before."

On the next leg of the tour, they came across what appeared the dorm area. As Matsu continued to speak about their achievements, he started to wonder about his old room at the Rest.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, Grandmaster, but would it be possible to visit the original dorm wing, or was that all lost during the Io raid?"

She looked at him and brought up a hand. "It is somewhat still intact, the attack was less a raid and more a one and done attack. Much more dangerous yes but they didn't follow up which was a mistake." She said it while she was walking through the halls. "With the expansions we rebuilt a lot of the foundation but we prreserved many of the older areas. If you are looking for specific things they might have been destroyed in the explosion and fire. Personal items may be in storage and suspended in case they are claimed but the rest of the structure." She said it while bringing the older sections of the rest out while descending some stairs. The aair changing only a little while there were jedi and droids moving around.

He honestly didn't expect anything to remain, but to his surprise, the Grandmaster confirmed that at least the structures had mostly remained intact.

"No, no Ma'am, the room is good enough. I don't expect to find old plushies or anything, ha ha. I just wanted to visit the room and reminisce."

He glanced down the hall before returning his gaze to the Grandmaster. "Would you allow me some time to see the room on my own? Unless there's some sort of security protocol I have to follow."
