:///Arana Xaan was born in the small Xaan province on Bastion, according to records. Arana has no recollection of her parents, and can only remember from when she was already in a government orphanage. Her sensitivity to the Force was noticed early on by one of the overseers of the orphanage, and she was quickly taken aside and taught to hide it. The Overseer took her under wing and taught her to use the Force in secret. As the Overseer rose through the ranks, becoming a Sith Lord in their own right, they continued to train Arana. Previous acolytes of the Overseer had been brutish, pure warriors of rage and fury. When he took Arana as a formal Acolyte, whispers abounded of the mistake, and the Overseer was pleased. Arana's training counted the warriors path as her main focus, but against the precepts of the Overseer's previous students, cunning war was going to be her forte rather than brute force.
