SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Repulse hand:
    • Integrated Repulse-hand features a series of miniaturized Repulse-generators and Vibro-generators, applying incredible force behind delivered blows in CQB.
    • Inbuilt Kinetite Generator allows the device to store Kinetite charges, Applying deadly concussive blasts behind delivered blows which are capable of throwing even Wookies across small rooms.
    • The above characteristics allow the prosthetic to easily crush bone and tear flesh apart merely by squeezing it. However these features can be toggled On or Off as needed.
  • Anti-lightning:
    • The Rubberized Neuron-jack sockets can disrupt the flow of electricity, natural or otherwise, preventing it from traveling to the user's organic body.
WEAKNESSES
  • Malleable:
    • The Tal'kar forging process leaves the crimson metal more malleable, and therefore, more susceptible to kinetic damage than pure beskar. If the external carapace is breached, The limb may become unusable.
  • Electrical:
    • The rubberized Neuron-jack sockets do not prevent electricity from damaging the internal electronics of these prosthetics, thus they are liable to to short circuit and become unresponsive.
  • Cyber-lock:
    • In the case of a mechanical malfunction, it is possible for the Repulse-hand to become locked in place, potentially breaking any object in hand or even accidental dismemberment. To make matters worse, it would be incredibly difficult to sever if it became latched to an object or person.
DESCRIPTION
During the many years of Aloy Vizsla's imprisonment at the hands Sith-Loyalists, Apollyon the Betrayer had a plan. She wished to mold the Vizsla into her own perfect soldier. A wolf, whose shared anger toward Mand'alor the Abandoner could bring clan Vizsla into the fold and turn her against all others. To her surprise however, The Vizsla's anger had grown cold. Far worse than a fiery drive for vengeance, The Mand'alor had earned her indifference.

Indifference was not something she could use. Not in this context, at least. After the first few years, it was becoming clear that her methods of manipulation and psychological torture, while devestating, were not producing the results she had intended. It was then that she turned to more
drastic measures.

The Vizsla needed to be broken before she could be reborn. And Apollyon would start piece by piece.

Aloy's left arm was surgically severed while in a medically induced sleep. She would experience enough pain as it was, with ritualistic scaring and electrocution. No, This time, Apollyon wanted to study the woman's reaction to waking up without a limb. The startling revelation would perhaps be even more shocking than seeing it happen in the first place. And for the first time since the project began; It worked.

The proud Vizsla was broken. Beginning to understand that Apollyon had complete and utter control. Mind, body and soul. She could do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted to.

It was only by the grace of
The Dollmaker, Another prisoner among Apollyon's growing collection, That Aloy Vizsla achieved some control.

The Dollmaker began the process of creating new artificial limbs for the captive Alor, putting all her talents on display in her own beautiful artistry with the hopes of shedding even a degree of metaphorical light into that literal dark cell. But Apollyon would only agree under one condition; The inner workings of this new arm would be made from accursed Tal'kar, made from Aloy Vizsla's own blood.

Using a similar technique to
Tal'beskar, The arm was immediately juiced after being removed, and combined in the forging process of Beskar to create the unholy abomination to the Mandalorian religion. It wouldn't be until after Aloy Vizsla had learned of the metal's true nature, being forced to watch the process for herself, that she would allow it to see use. They both knew that from this day forward, Anytime Aloy Vizsla used her own hands, She would be forced to think of Apollyon's control.

It was carefully affixed by The Dollmaker, and even more so carefully treated after. She would even visit the mandalorian in her cell to delicately paint beautiful patterns into the duraplast carapace. It was perhaps the only joy that they knew together for many long years.

By the time of
Aloy Vizsla's release, She was left a broken and bitter woman. She had, however, learned an important lesson from The Dollmaker: To survive in the darkest places, one must be willing to see the beauty in it, or create it themselves. With this in mind, She turned her darkest memory into her greatest weapon.

The prosthetic was carefully modified over the course of months until an elegant but devastating Repulse-hand had been created from the shell of Apollyon's "gift", And it would one day restore the fear that she had been known for among the enemies of Mandalore.
