SETTING INFORMATION
- Structure Name: Apollo Station X

- Accessibility: Located in a fairly murky part of Mygeeto, it is relatively easy to find. General public is not permitted to enter unless they are an IMF employee. Entrance is permanently guarded by security droids. In total, it has 2 access points, one being connected to a general highway and the other being sealed off for deliveries. There is also a landing pad at the very top of the facility capable of holding 1 small starship (corvette or smaller). There are also some ventilation shafts located at the back of the facility which could theoretically be entered although are filled with toxic fumes the majority of the day. On the exterior, there is a large pseudo-elevator where larger vehicles can be transported down into the lower sections of the factory. Finally, the entire facility is surrounded by a 5 meter electric fence except at the access points specified above.

[*]Description: The building itself was constructed with modern architecture in mind. The bulk of the facility is used for power generation located underground, hence the elevator platform to take raw materials down, whereas the upper most sections are mainly for administrative purposes. There are several open platforms for employees to have their lunches at, although there are only a few on duty at a time due to the facility mainly being run by droids.
POINTS OF INTEREST
- Nuclear power plant - Located roughly 100 meters below the surface is a set of highly energy efficient nuclear power plants. Each contains numerous amounts of reactors, and feed into a central system to feed the energy network of Mygeeto. Surrounding this is a light layer of rad dampening shielding. Given the close proximity to the surface and being constructed near a residential zone, this is used to prevent the harmful effects of prolonged exposure to radiation.
- Industrial sized batteries - Located roughly 50 meters below the surface is a set of industrial sized storage batteries for excess energy production. Should the power fail from the main reactors for whatever reason, the stored energy from these can be used to supply the network for a limited period of time.
- Waste disposal tanks - On the exterior of the building there are 12 waste disposal tanks. These need to be emptied regularly to avoid contaminating local food and water supplies with the toxic waste products from the plant.
- Administrative Control tower - In the first control tower is where all of the primary functions of the site are monitored, eg security, faults in the system etc. These are manned by sentient operators.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Given IMF's recent expansion it only made sense to venture into one of the necessities of modern life, that being electricity and power generation, and the architects of the structure decided what better way to do it than dirty, nuclear power on the outskirts of town where only the poorest people live. After securing the property from a derelict police station, it was excavated and the interior renovated to resemble a power station. Nowadays, it provides power to the majority of Mygeeto's capital city, whether that be through government subsidies or being paid directly by the populace.
